"Captain Guan, my team member just called me. The fingerprint comparison results are in, and it matches the repairman!"

As Chen Xuewen spoke, Guan Feng frowned.

He immediately asked seriously, "Have the people been brought under control?"

Chen Xuewen said, "We've got them under control. The three of us are all here, but their expression is a bit strange. They don't seem nervous at all. Do you want to come and take a look?"

Guan Feng nodded and said, "I'll be right there."

Hang up the phone.

He said to Wang Xun and Liu Shengguo, "You two come with me!"

Wang Xun asked, "Any new leads?"

Wang Xun immediately put down his lunchbox and asked in surprise, "A repairman? Let's go! Let's go take a look."

The group all became serious.

The group arrived at a three-story building not far away.

This place is more like a storage room than a repair shop.

The factory's equipment, including forklifts and cranes, is parked at the entrance, and there is also a separate office where the repairmen usually stay.

The man nodded and said, "Okay, I... I'm in charge of some simple repairs at the company, like glass and water pipes. As long as it doesn't involve electricity, I'll handle it directly."

The man said, "We report everything together, and an outside company will come to do the repairs."

Guan Feng thought of what Director Zhang had said. It seemed that there were probably people with connections involved, but these were all private matters of the factory and had little to do with the case.

He continued, "Do you usually live at the factory?"

The man shook his head and said, "No, I go home normally after get off work. My home is in Hongcheng, it's only a ten-minute ride by electric bike."

Guan Feng asked, "What about last night?"

"last night?"

The man seemed taken aback for a moment, then said, "I went back last night too."

Guan Feng asked, "What was the specific time? Who can vouch for it?"

The man recalled, "It must have been 5:30, right? Yes! I left at 5:30 and stayed home. But if anyone can vouch for me, no one's home yet. What am I supposed to do? Wait, what's going on? Why are you all watching me?"

Guan Feng didn't answer, but asked instead, "Where are your family members?"

The man said, "My child is in high school, and I usually live alone."

Guan Feng asked, "May I ask about your marital status?"

The man said, "I have a normal marriage, but my wife works in Shanghai. Since the children are older, she only comes back once or twice a month. I'm usually home alone."

Guan Feng asked, "Do you have surveillance cameras or similar devices at home?"

The man asked, "What do you need that thing for?"

Guan Feng nodded and said, "Generally speaking, home surveillance is more reliable, but it's okay if you don't have one. What is your specific address? We will send someone to retrieve surveillance footage along the way to verify what you said."

The man said, "Okay, I live in XX neighborhood."

Guan Feng asked, "Have you been to Dormitory Building No. 2 recently?"

"Dormitory Building No. 2?"

The man thought for a moment, then shook his head and said, "I've never been there."

Guan Feng reminded him, "Think about it carefully again, whether you've actually been there or not."

The man shook his head and said, "No! I think the only problem with the light bulbs in dormitory building number 2 is that it's not my job. I haven't been there for at least half a month."

Guan Feng said, "But we found your fingerprints in dormitory building number 2."

The man paused, then asked, "You mean... you just took my fingerprints because of this fingerprint?"

Guan Feng nodded and said, "That's right! The fingerprints we found at the scene match yours perfectly."

The man scratched his head subconsciously, puzzled, and said, "That's impossible. How could it be a match for me? I haven't been there in ages."

Guan Feng asked, "When was the last time you went there?"

The man said, "Wait a minute, let me check the repair records."

Under the watchful eyes of the others, he went to the table, searched through the relevant records and logs, and after a moment said, "It should have been about half a month ago when I replaced the water pipes on the first floor. The water pipes had burst at the time. You see, it's recorded here."

Guan Feng asked, "What about the second floor?"

"The second floor?"
