Lin Xi's face turned deathly pale, and his legs trembled so badly he could barely stand. The memory of that terrifying night, being surrounded by thugs, flooded back to him like a tidal wave, filling him with dread.

He charged forward frantically, his instincts telling him that these people were there to capture him. If he didn't escape, the shadow of death would fall upon him even sooner.

Bang bang bang...

Gunshots echoed in the quiet night sky, making Lin Xi's ears ring. He could only struggle forward, regardless of everything.

His eyes were filled with panic, his legs were shaking uncontrollably, almost out of control. His thoughts were chaotic, his memory was gone, all he could do was run, keep running.

However, he found that the faster he ran, the closer he got to the abandoned factory.

Lin Xi's expression changed drastically. He realized that if he didn't escape, a tragic end awaited him!

It felt as if a fire was burning inside him, the heat making his whole body feel scorching, like wings being roasted by a raging fire.

An endless heat filled him, as if a million insects were gnawing at his body.

We must not stop!

Despite his legs feeling increasingly heavy, as if filled with lead, he continued to struggle forward.

Sweat rolled down his forehead, his face was flushed, and his carotid artery was clearly visible.

His fists were clenched so tightly that his nails dug deep into his palms, and his whole body trembled violently.

He wanted to stop, but he couldn't stop.

Do not stop because of fear; that will only hasten death!

He has to run, he has to keep running!

However, the iron gate seemed to have a life of its own, remaining tightly shut no matter how much Lin Xi pounded on it.

"Ah!" Lin Xi roared and leaped over the iron gate.

His body hit the ground hard, and the pain made him dizzy.

He walked through one street and then wandered into another alley.

Finally, his body could no longer bear the strain and he collapsed.

At that moment, he heard a familiar voice: "Lin Xi, you can't escape!"

Lin Xi opened his eyes and was met with a group of men wearing bulletproof vests and sunglasses, each nearly 2.3 meters tall, who had surrounded him. An overwhelming rage surged within him, a fierce fire burning in his chest, and his eyes turned bloodshot.

These guys were the same people who had chased him before! "Lin Xi, still trying to escape?" The man named Li Wei walked over with a sneer, looking down at Lin Xi, his words full of contempt and disdain.

Lin Xi gritted his teeth and said angrily, "If you have the guts, shoot me dead!"

"Kill you? You're too naive." Li Wei sneered. "We're ordered to arrest you, why would we kill you so easily? Let me tell you, you can't escape even if you grow wings!"

"However, I will offer you to Lord Long. Lord Long is extremely infatuated with you, and your value is enough to satisfy him."

Lin Xi's eyes burned with rage.

Li Wei actually wanted to give him away to someone else!

And it was given to that devilish young master Long!

Lin Xi was filled with resentment, extreme resentment!

"Hmph." Lin Xi snorted coldly. He understood that he was indeed at a disadvantage at the moment.

However, he could not sit idly by and wait for his death.

He didn't believe he would admit defeat so easily.

He must find a way to escape.

But what should he do?

The vehicle has started and is gliding forward leisurely.

After driving for a short while, suddenly, with a "crack," the car window shattered, and a bullet shot in.

"Watch out!"

Li Wei reacted with lightning speed, lunging at the woman beside him. "Bang! Bang! Bang!" The continuous explosions were deafening.

Li Wei was shot and thrown into the air, crashing heavily to the ground, spitting out blood.

The woman he was protecting trembled in terror and fainted before her scream could even finish.

Lin Xi collapsed to the ground, tears of blood seeping from the corners of her eyes.
