Barren Years, I Have a Space in My Hand and the Whole Country Will Not Worry

Liu Sisi encountered a car accident while driving and fell off a mountain with her car. When she opened her eyes again, she had traveled to a parallel world with her family's supermarket, becom...

Chapter 142 The Shocking Truth

When Liu Sisi flew to the palace gate, she saw a group of Imperial Guards surrounding two men in black, but they were no match for them. Every time the Imperial Guards struck, a member of the Imperial Guard would fall to the ground.

Liu Sisi spotted one of them and swiftly struck him on the back with a palm strike.

Using the power of the seventh level of the Jade Goddess Palm technique, the black-clad man was sent flying like a kite with a broken string from his previous position, crashing heavily into the palace gate. He spat out a mouthful of blood and fainted.

Seeing his companion defeated, another man in black took out a throwing dart from his pocket and shot it at Liu Sisi. Liu Sisi picked up her sword and easily blocked the small projectiles flying towards her.

Gu Lingchen arrived just in time to see the assassin throwing darts at Liu Sisi.

In his haste, he threw the knife in his hand, and the black-clad man's leg was chopped off.

He screamed in pain and fell to the ground. Before he could take the poison pill, Liu Sisi took out a tattered rag from her spatial storage and stuffed it into his mouth. This rag was the one Xi Yu usually used to wipe his teeth.

The stench made the assassin roll his eyes back and almost faint, but the pain from his broken leg kept him awake.

Gu Lingchen stepped forward and kicked him again, saying, "If you hurt my sister Sisi, I'll make you wish you were dead."

The assassin was powerless to resist and thought to himself, "I'd rather be dead than alive right now."

"Your Highness, I'm fine. Quickly interrogate them and find out who sent them," Liu Sisi said as she walked to Gu Lingchen's side.

"Alright, men, seize these two and take them to the Ministry of Justice for interrogation," Gu Lingchen ordered the Imperial Guards.

But after thinking about it carefully, Liu Sisi realized that these people were not even afraid of death, so she probably couldn't get anything out of them by ordinary means.

"Wait, ordinary punishments probably won't work on them. Drag them to the Princess's residence."

“I have already brought the great shaman of Miaonan Kingdom here. He is now my master. I will ask my master if there is any poison that can make these two talk.”

The Imperial Guards looked at Gu Lingchen, who nodded. Other Imperial Guards then went to the palace to report the matter to Emperor Yong'an, asking him whether the assassins could be sent to the Princess's residence.

Emperor Yong'an also heard the sounds of fighting from the second group of assassins.

When he heard that it was Princess Anning who had captured the assassin and asked him to find a way to interrogate him, a barely perceptible smile appeared on his lips.

Thinking to himself that having the little girl handle things would definitely be twice as effective, he said, "Granted."

After replying to the Imperial Guards, Emperor Yong'an lay down and fell asleep peacefully.

"Your Highness, you should go back to sleep too! I will definitely find out who is behind this."

Liu Sisi returned to the Princess's residence with the Imperial Guards and two assassins.

The assassin was thrown into an uninhabited room in the princess's mansion, and the Imperial Guards went back to report.

Liu Sisi stepped forward and stomped on the assassin's severed leg, tearing off the tattered rag. "Tell me, who sent you?"

The assassin's screams were pitiful, but he clenched his teeth and refused to open his mouth.

Liu Sisi splashed water on the other person to wake him up. The person looked at his condition in a daze and felt as if his internal organs had been severely damaged.

"You tell me, who sent you?" He was stunned when he heard Liu Sisi's voice, and then he realized that he had been captured.

"Hmph, I won't say a word. Even if you kill us, we won't utter a single word," the assassin said defiantly.

"Really? Don't be so sure of yourself."

As soon as Liu Sisi raised her hand, Xi Yu and the white snake appeared beside her.

Liu Sisi carefully observed their actions. Both of them only looked at the two snakes behind Liu Sisi in fear, and did not subconsciously call out "Snake Immortal," which meant they were not from Tianlong Kingdom.

"You... are you a monster? A snake demon?" The assassin with the broken leg asked Liu Sisi, trembling.

He wasn't afraid of death or torture, but he was still instinctively afraid of snakes of such a large size.

"Go to hell! Who are you calling a snake demon?!"

Enraged, Xi Yu opened his blood-red maw and bit the man with the broken leg. The man's eyes rolled back, and he fainted.

"Are you going to tell me or not?" Liu Sisi asked the other person.

"I...I won't..." The assassin's tone was no longer as defiant as before. Even though they were not afraid of death, they were still afraid of the behemoth in front of them.

With another wave of her hand, Liu Sisi summoned two more snow wolves and two more snow leopards to her side.

"You guys, bite off pieces of this man's flesh one by one, but don't kill him, leave him with a breath left."

Liu Sisi pointed at the assassin with the severed leg and gave instructions to the snow wolf and snow leopard.

"Monster, you're a monster! Help!"

The assassin never imagined that a seemingly delicate little girl could command these large, ferocious beasts. The problem was that these beasts appeared out of nowhere, which terrified him, and he was on the verge of a mental breakdown.

Then he watched as his companion's flesh was torn off piece by piece, his companion's shrill screams echoing in his ears.

If he fainted from the pain, Liu Sisi would feed him some water from the Bagua River to help him recover before he was bitten again. This process was repeated over and over.

Throughout the entire ordeal, the animals did not touch the other assassins. He simply watched as his companions were torn apart by wild beasts, suffering excruciating pain, only to be saved and then bitten again.

Liu Sisi also told them that if they didn't reveal who was behind it all, this process would continue indefinitely, and even if they were to die by banging their heads against a wall, she would have a way to bring them back to life and continue torturing them.

The assassin believed Liu Sisi's words because Liu Sisi's extraordinary abilities led him to believe that she was a monster.
