This is a very common, clichéd story.

A pair of beast tamer parents had their young son late in life and doted on him. The child inherited his parents' beast taming talent and awakened his ability to form contracts with beasts at a young age. After much deliberation, the parents decided to let their child form a contract with a Greenleaf Lim. So they bought a Greenleaf Egg that was about to hatch from the Overlord Training Gym.

With the parents' loving care and the child's anticipation, the Green Leaf Egg cracked open, and a tiny Green Leaf Lime popped out.

They named the turquoise lime "Bobo".

Bobo grew up alongside the child. Since pets grow much faster than humans, it took less than a year for Greenleaf to start taking care of the child. The bond between the child and Bobo grew stronger, and they were almost inseparable.
