They all call me a genius, but only I know how bitter I truly am. (A weathered soul.jpg)
Our goal is the sea of stars!!
Cheng Huaijin, a modern-day corporate slave, transmigrates to a w...
With Fang Juexia's help, Cheng Huaijin entered Cheng Woyu's ward without alerting anyone.
The ward was quiet, and Cheng's parents were not seen.
Cheng Huaijin walked in and saw Cheng Woyu lying on the hospital bed, covered in cold sweat, as if he was having a nightmare.
This energy stimulant is truly amazing; it's terrifying that it can't be detected in pets and humans.
Cheng Huaijin sighed, then ruthlessly kicked the hospital bed.
Cheng Woyu was jolted awake. When she opened her eyes, she saw Cheng Huaijin looking down at her.
"You! How did you get in?!" Cheng Woyu sat up abruptly, her eyes wide with horror.
Cheng Huaijin was too lazy to waste any more words with him: "Where's the Giant Flame Wolf? Where are you hiding it?"
Cheng Woyu's expression changed: "I don't know what you're talking about?"
Cheng Huaijin produced a contract: "If you breach the contract, you will have to compensate me 10 million."
Cheng Woyu's face went mad: "10 million? Hahahaha, I'm not a beast tamer anymore, what can you use to restrain me? I'm not even afraid of death!"
"Are you really not afraid anymore?" Cheng Huaijin smirked. "By the way, you know I'm the Beastmaster of the Wooden Dragon, right?"
Cheng Woyu clenched her fist: "Are you here to show off?"
Cheng Huaijin looked at him with pity: "What sense of accomplishment would I get from showing off to you? I'm now a member of the Special Cases Division of the Pet Management Bureau, representing national interests. Are you sure you want to go against me?"
She smiled, revealing a gentle smile that Cheng Woyu knew all too well: "You should know more about the privileges of a Beast Tamer than I do, right?"
Cheng Huaijin didn't say the next sentence, but Cheng Woyu knew what she was going to say—
Making you wish you were dead is very simple.
In this world of beast taming, beast tamers are of a much higher social class than ordinary people. Even if Cheng Huaijin were to kill Cheng Woyu now, no one would hold Cheng Huaijin accountable for it.
Compared to ordinary people, beast tamers are more precious, not to mention that Cheng Huaijin is a beast tamer of the wooden dragon.
Cheng Woyu's face turned ashen. Then he pulled a voice recorder from under his pillow and shouted at Cheng Huaijin in a hysterical manner, "Hahahaha, I've recorded all the things you said to threaten me!! I'm going to put them on the StarNet and ruin your reputation!"
Cheng Huaijin lowered her eyelashes to look at him: "Can you still access the StarNet now?"
Cheng Woyu paused. Yes, without his status as a Beastmaster, he couldn't use a communicator at all, let alone access the StarNet…
"Then I'll go to the TV station! Let everyone know what kind of person you are!!!" Cheng Woyu shouted.
Cheng Huaijin opened his right hand, and the recording pen that Cheng Woyu was holding tightly suddenly broke free from Cheng Woyu's hand and flew into Cheng Huaijin's hand.
Cheng Woyu was shocked: "You!"
Cheng Huaijin checked and confirmed that the recorder had indeed recorded some trivial conversations. With a slight exertion of her right hand, the ordinary-world recorder turned into a pile of scrap metal.
"Thunder Spirit, come out."
After a flash of purple light, the Thunder Sprite appeared in front of Cheng Huaijin.
"Electric!" the Thunder Elf asked.
Cheng Huaijin spread out his hand to show it the scrap metal: "Help me get rid of this piece of trash."
The Thunder Spirit said it was very simple. It flashed a bolt of lightning from its finger, which struck the scrap metal of the recording pen squarely. Instantly, the scrap metal turned into powder and disappeared without a trace.
Enraged, Cheng Woyu grabbed a nearby cup and threw it at him.
Unexpectedly, Cheng Huaijin glanced at it, and the cup froze in mid-air!
Cheng Huaijin ignored Cheng Woyu's shocked gaze, turned around and waved, and the ward door was opened.
Mr. Cheng burst into the room with a banging motion, nearly falling over.
"Cheng Huaijin? You're the one behind this?! I've been pushing the door open for ages and you still can't get in!! You..."
Before Cheng's father could start cursing, Cheng Huaijin snapped his fingers, and the cup floating in mid-air suddenly exploded, freezing the burst of white powder in place.
The look in Cheng's father and Cheng Woyu's eyes shifted from surprise to horror.
"You, what kind of monster are you! You just wait, I'm calling the police!" Mr. Cheng's legs were shaking so badly he could barely stand. He leaned against the door and shouted fiercely, but his voice betrayed his fear, before he tried to run away.
The door was clearly open, but he couldn't get out no matter what he did.
This space seemed to be frozen in place!
“Domain…” Cheng Woyu murmured, “You actually have a domain…”
Cheng Huaijin nodded without any modesty: "That's right, this is my territory now. I can make you live or die as I please, so you'd better not waste my time. Just answer whatever I ask."
Startled, Cheng's father sat down on the ground, too afraid to speak. Cheng Woyu looked at Cheng Huaijin with a deep gaze and stopped making any more small movements.
Cheng Huaijin asked directly, "Where is the Giant Flame Wolf?"
"At home."
"At home?"
"The safe in my room."
Cheng Huaijin's anger instantly reached its peak.
As if grabbed by something, Cheng Woyu was lifted into the air and instantly flew in front of Cheng Huaijin.
Cheng Huaijin grabbed Cheng Woyu by the neck: "Password."
Cheng Woyu said with difficulty, "."
Cheng Huaijin tightened his grip: "If you're lying to me, I really will kill you."
Cheng Woyu forced a desolate smile: "I...have no need to lie to you."
Cheng Huaijin abandoned Cheng Woyu, not even glancing at his cough, and walked towards the door, passing by Cheng's father who glanced at him.
"Stop talking nonsense."
Mr. Cheng trembled, almost unable to look directly at the daughter he used to boss around.
"Yes, I understand."
Cheng Huaijin walked out of the room, not wanting to see the two people anymore.
