After Cheng Huaijin left the ward, he asked Mu Long to withdraw his life domain.

The wooden dragon was fast asleep in Cheng Huaijin's pocket, and it wasn't angry at being woken up. It seemed to have endless patience with Cheng Huaijin.

After reclaiming his domain, Mu Long went back to sleep.

Cheng Huaijin said he understood, since cubs love to sleep!

She rushed to the Cheng family home as fast as she could, intending to break down the door, but to her surprise, Cheng's mother was home.

"Huaijin?" Cheng's mother asked in surprise.

Cheng Huaijin's face remained expressionless: "I'm here to pick up something."

Cheng's mother's face stiffened as she said, "What are you here to get? I've put away all your things. Why don't you wait a bit while I look for them?"

"No need, Aunt Cheng. What I'm looking for is in Cheng Woyu's room." Cheng Huaijin walked to the door of Cheng Woyu's room. This used to be a "forbidden zone" in the Cheng family, and no one dared to enter Woyu's room.

Cheng's mother said somewhat awkwardly, "Huaijin, he'll be angry if Xiaoyu doesn't give him permission..."

Cheng Huaijin politely asked, "Will you open it or should I kick it open?"

Cheng Huaijin frowned and thought for a moment, then knocked on the safe.

"Giant Flame Wolf? Are you inside? Are you alright?"

A weak cry came from inside the safe: "Ouch..."

Upon hearing the sound, the Thunder Sprite scrunched up its little face: "Electric, electric!"

This means the Giant Flame Wolf is in very bad condition and needs immediate treatment.

“I understand.” Cheng Huaijin thought for a moment and said to the giant flame wolf, “Your original beast tamer has lost his beast taming ability, so your contract with him should have ended. I can’t get you out of the safe right now. If you trust me, we can form a contract first, and once you enter my pet space, I can rescue you and send you to the pet center. The Thunder Spirit immediately indicated that the Giant Flame Wolf agreed!

The contract was successful, and the Giant Flame Wolf was taken into Cheng Huaijin's pet space.

Almost instantly, the wooden dragon flew out of his pocket and said to Cheng Huaijin, "What kind of dirty stuff have you collected? Throw it away!"

Cheng Huaijin immediately summoned the Giant Flame Wolf. The Giant Flame Wolf was covered in wounds, its leg bones seemed to be broken, and the wounds on its body were so deep that the bone was visible. It was breathing weakly and looking at the wooden dragon with its eyes half open.

Although the wooden dragon was small in size, its aura was by no means weak. It flew to the eyes of the giant flame wolf, and a beam of green light shot towards the giant flame wolf's brow.

The giant flame wolf closed its eyes comfortably.

Mu Long said to Cheng Huaijin, "Quickly break the contract. My little bit of energy can support the Giant Flame Wolf to heal."

Cheng Huaijin then realized why Mu Long had done this. Seeing the Giant Flame Wolf in such a critical condition, she momentarily forgot that the Giant Flame Wolf had been injected with a large amount of energy surging agent, and that if she formed a contract with the Giant Flame Wolf, she would inevitably be affected as well.

Thankfully, there's the wooden dragon.

Cheng Huaijin secretly remembered this lesson, and, having reached a connection with the giant flame wolf, dissolved the contract.

Now that the contract was broken, it was impossible to put the Giant Flame Wolf back into the pet space. Cheng Huaijin simply picked up the Giant Flame Wolf, kicked open the window of the room, and jumped out.

The wooden dragon instantly grew larger and caught Cheng Huaijin, flying towards the pet center.

Cheng's mother screamed and stared blankly as the person and the dragon left.

Pet center.

The giant flame wolf was sent to the emergency room, and the nurse and Harluya had a serious talk with Cheng Huaijin.

“The Giant Flame Wolf was originally Cheng Woyu’s pet, and there are records to investigate this. He caused all these injuries. I went to rescue the Giant Flame Wolf. You can ask it when it wakes up,” Cheng Huaijin explained. “In addition, I would like to apply for an inspection warrant. The giant flame wolf awoke a week later.

A lot has happened this past week. Following the clues provided by Cheng Huaijin, the security officer traced the trail back to a gang illegally selling pet eggs. They sold substandard pet eggs and lured buyers into purchasing banned drugs. Initially, the drugs were very cheap; once buyers got a taste of success, they would return to buy more, at which point the price would rise exponentially…
