"Dada!" A purple Dadak suddenly appeared on a branch. It grinned wickedly, its long tail swishing back and forth, the heart-shaped mark at the end of its tail flashing.

"It's cursing us! Xiao Lei!" Cheng Huaijin felt a chill creeping closer.

The Thunder Sprite quickly unleashed a bolt of lightning at Dadak, but it struck something in mid-air, making a crackling sound.

Dadak narrowed his eyes and spread his wings.

Cheng Huaijin quickly interrupted its spellcasting: "Wait! We mean no harm! Let me explain first!"

Dadak folded its wings and looked down at Cheng Huaijin and Thunder Elf, its red eyes darting around.

Cheng Huaijin raised his hands and explained, "We're not here to fight you. We're here on Mr. Li's behalf to ask you about the photos."

Dadak crossed his arms and leaned against a tree branch: "Dada."

Cheng Huaijin asked Lei Jingling, "What did it say?"

The Thunder Elf said to Dadak, "Human, don't waste your time. Be careful, or I'll curse you so you won't have toilet paper when you go to the toilet."

Cheng Huaijin: ...What a vicious curse!

“We can talk this over. We’re not here to steal the photos. You see, we haven’t fought back, we’ve only been on the defensive. You should be able to tell that the Jolteon’s attack power is not low. We’re here to discuss this with you in good faith.”

Cheng Huaijin could sense that this Dadak was very familiar with human manners, and because of the Li family's violent capture of it, Dadak was quite averse to humans. Therefore, she adopted a humble attitude from the beginning, speaking to Dadak in a gentle manner, and did not underestimate it just because it was a pet.

"Dada!" Dadak said, wagging its tail.

Lei Jingling said that Dadak told Cheng Huaijin not to even think about it, as it wanted to keep the photos.

"Why? Does this photo have any special meaning for you?" Cheng Huaijin wondered. Could a human photograph be that important to Dadak?

Could it be that the person in the photo is important to Dadak?

As Cheng Huaijin was thinking, he suddenly sensed that the dark energy elements were increasing rapidly at an abnormal rate.

Dadak turned and rushed into the depths of the grove. Cheng Huaijin and Lei Jingling exchanged a glance and quickly followed.

But Dadak had disappeared without a trace. Cheng Huaijin had no choice but to sense dark energy elements and specifically seek out areas with high concentrations.

After walking for an unknown amount of time, we finally found the place where the dark energy was dissipating.

Cheng Huaijin looked at the crooked trees and examined them for a long time, but still couldn't figure out where Dadak could be hiding.

"Could it be an illusion?" Cheng Huaijin said to Lei Jingling. "Let's see if there's anything else here."

The Thunder Elf nodded and released several small bolts of lightning. The lightning struck the air, causing a visible ripple, and a tree hole appeared in front of Cheng Huaijin.

Wow! Wow!

So this is where Dadak's house is! No wonder I couldn't find it before!

But is this Dadak's skill level really that high? Based on Dadak's previous skill usage, Cheng Huaijin felt that this Dadak's level wasn't very high; at least Jolteon could suppress it.

This level of superpower is not something Dardark can use... Could there be another Dardark here?

"Be careful, there might be more than one Dardark here," Cheng Huaijin whispered to the Thunder Elf.

The Thunder Sprite nodded and flew silently in the air, keeping watch.

Countless black branches stretched out from the tree hole, heading straight for Cheng Huaijin and Lei Jingling.

"Lightning Claw Strike!" Cheng Huaijin shouted.

The Thunder Spirit gathered lightning elements, and a giant lightning claw appeared out of thin air, swatting away the black branches with a single claw.

"Dada!" The same Dadak appeared again, blocking the entrance to the tree hole, baring its teeth and warning Cheng Huaijin to leave quickly.

How could they possibly leave? This is clearly the breakthrough point for the mission.

There are definitely Dardaks here that are of a higher level than this one.

Furthermore, the high-level Dadak hasn't come out yet, so it might be injured or sick. Cheng Huaijin can take it to the pet center for treatment.

Wouldn't that improve our relationship? And then I could learn the curse skill!

"Is Dadak sick inside?" Cheng Huaijin asked. "Don't get excited, maybe I can save it!"

"Do you know the Pet Center? It has the most advanced treatment pods there that can solve 99% of pet health problems. Just lie down for a while and you'll feel better! Really, if you don't believe me, ask Thunder Elf, it's been there!" Cheng Huaijin continued to persuade him.

The red light in Dadak's eyes dimmed slightly, and it turned its gaze to the Thunder Sprite.

“Electric.” The Thunder Elf affirmed the correctness of Cheng Huaijin’s words with a serious expression.

Dadak lowered his guard and said dejectedly, "Dada..."

The Thunder Spirit flew over and entered the tree hole, where Cheng Huaijin waited outside.

Cheng Huaijin couldn't enter the tree hollow; he could only hear the conversation inside.

"Dada..."

"Electricity, electricity!"

"Da da da".

"Electric electricity".

"Dada?"

"electricity."

Fortunately, based on Lei Jingling's words, Cheng Huaijin was able to deduce some of the details.

There is indeed another Dadak in the tree hole, and it is of a very high level, but it is very old and about to die.

Old Dadak used to be good friends with the great-great-grandmother of the Li family. Old Dadak had been bedridden for a long time, and on his deathbed, he longed to see his good friend one last time. So Little Dadak went to the Li family, stole the great-great-grandmother's photo, and prevented the Li family from retrieving it.

Thunder Elf and Little Dadak helped Old Dadak out.
