"Heh, quite protective of females." Nightmare smirked and chuckled.

"Didn't you say you didn't want her anymore? How dare you show your face around her?" he mocked.

Upon hearing this, Yi Yuan's eyes flickered slightly, then returned to their gloomy state. "Enough with the nonsense."

Seeing the two of them on the verge of conflict, and knowing that they were outnumbered, Shu Ning grabbed Yi Yuan's hand, urging him not to act rashly.

Yi Yuan turned to look at her, giving her a reassuring look.
