Anno rested her head against Sitar's back, listening to his heartbeat and Xinghuo's soft voice as she spoke to him, feeling a strange sense of peace.

She buried her face in Sitar's back, a smile curving her lips. Such peaceful and tranquil days are truly wonderful.

Back in the courtyard where they lived, Wenye was already cooking. Xinghuo put the fish she had caught from the sea together with a few fish in a wooden basin and took it over to Wenye to stew a pot of fish soup.

Anno took her first sip of fish soup. Xinghuo remembered what she had told her before: no one was allowed to touch the fish soup, and Anno had to drink it first.

After lunch, Anuo had just put Xinghuo down for a nap when a figure darted into the room from outside, panting, "Your Highness! We're back!"
