Shen Qiqi and Xu Jing transmigrated into the book and became daughters-in-law of the Lu family.
In the Lu family, they encounter all sorts of mishaps. Shen Qiqi mistakes her husband, and afte...
Shen Qiqi's skill in renovating old things has become well-known in the village.
But she is not satisfied with the status quo, always feeling that her skills are not mature enough, just like the old-style pickled cabbage, which lacks a little bit of the traditional flavor.
Before, she could get some inspiration from old magazines and old clothes from neighbors, but now she feels that she has run out of ideas and has no other options.
She sat in the yard in distress, holding a worn enamel teacup in her hand, her brow furrowed, as if she was pondering the ultimate mystery of the universe.
This tense atmosphere, like autumn wind sweeping away fallen leaves, quickly swept across the entire Lu family courtyard.
Even Lu Qing, who has always been optimistic, couldn't help but show a worried look. If his wife was depressed, he would have a hard time living.
"Oh, I'm so worried!" Shen Qiqi put the teacup on the table with a clang, scaring the hens pecking at food in the yard so much that they fluttered and flew up.
"This old man Li Qiaoshou is so stingy that he won't teach me any skills at all!"
Thinking back to the beginning, in order to learn a little bit, she delivered eggs and helped chop firewood, and she was almost about to kowtow to the old man Li Qiaoshou and become his disciple.
But this old man, like a giant dragon guarding a treasure, was only willing to reveal a few insignificant "little tricks", which made Shen Qiqi feel itchy.
So, she went to ask for advice again, and the result was the same. Although the old man's attitude was better than before and he no longer acted like a thief, the core technology was still kept tightly under wraps.
Shen Qiqi returned from Li Qiaoshou's house dejected, feeling like a poor wretch whose money had been drained out.
Seeing this, Lu Qing hurried forward to comfort her: "Qiqi, don't be discouraged, let's take it slowly, we can always find a way." He patted Shen Qiqi's shoulder gently, like coaxing a child.
Shen Qiqi sighed and looked up at the sky. It was cloudless and the sun was shining, but her heart was filled with dark clouds.
"Alas, without rice, even the most skillful woman can't cook!" She picked up the broken teacup and fiddled with it absentmindedly.
Suddenly, her eyes lit up and the corners of her mouth rose slightly, as if she had come up with a brilliant idea.
"Hehe, if the mountain doesn't come near me, I will go near the mountain! I don't believe that this renovation of old things can still stump me, Shen Qiqi!" She picked up the teacup, turned and went into the house, leaving Lu Qing alone in the yard, confused.
"What's this girl up to again..." Lu Qing muttered. Just as he was about to follow her in to take a look, he heard footsteps coming from outside the courtyard...
"Qiqi, are you home?" Village Chief Sun's voice arrived before he even showed up. His loud voice made the chickens and ducks in the Lu family's yard jump up and down.
"Qiqi, are you home?"
Lu Qing frowned and wondered why the village chief came again?
Just as he was about to respond, he saw Village Chief Sun striding in.
Village Chief Sun saw Shen Qiqi staring at a pile of messy old things in a daze, and the broken enamel pot in her hand was particularly eye-catching. He couldn't help but shook his head.
"Qiqi, you're tinkering with these junk all day long. Can you really make a living? Young man, you should be down-to-earth and do more serious work! Don't spend all day doing these empty things. It's affecting the morale of the village."
Shen Qiqi was already depressed because of the technical bottleneck, and now being scolded by the village chief, her face instantly fell, like an eggplant that had just been hit by frost, wilting.
The air around became heavy and oppressive, making it hard to breathe.
Lu Qing looked at his wife's lost look, and his heart felt like being pricked by a needle. He was about to make a few remarks in defense of Shen Qiqi, but was stopped by Shen Qiqi's eyes.
Shen Qiqi took a deep breath and suppressed the annoyance in her heart. She no longer insisted on the traditional renovation style, but instead focused on the pile of seemingly unrelated old things - a dilapidated wooden box, a bench with a broken leg, and a few rusty iron wires.
The corners of her mouth rose slightly, revealing a sly smile.
"Hehe, this time I want to do something exciting!" She said to herself, picked up a broken wooden box, and began to dismantle it with a "click, click" sound.
Lu Qing was originally furious, but when he saw Shen Qiqi suddenly start to dismantle things, curiosity instantly overcame his anger.
He widened his eyes, watching Shen Qiqi tearing those old things into pieces like a "demolition team captain", leaving no trace of their original appearance.
What is even more puzzling is that Shen Qiqi actually began to try to cross-border combine and transform different types of old items.
She bent the wire into various shapes, and then pieced them together with wooden boards and wire. It looked disorganized, yet there was an inexplicable sense of harmony.
Lu Qing felt that his brain was not enough. He looked at Shen Qiqi's series of operations and was so surprised that his jaw almost dropped.
What is this girl doing again?
This idea is really mind-blowing!
Village chief Sun was also stunned. He stood there with his mouth wide open like a stone sculpture, not saying a word for a long time.
He originally thought that Shen Qiqi was just fooling around, but he didn't expect that she could actually come up with new tricks with these "junks".
"Lu Qing, guess what good thing I will create this time?" Shen Qiqi suddenly stopped what she was doing, looked up at Lu Qing, her eyes full of excitement and anticipation.
She gently stroked the unfinished "Sibu Xiang" with her hand, with a hint of mystery in her smile.
Shen Qiqi smiled mysteriously and continued to work hard.
The saw seemed to come alive in her hands, with wood chips flying like wood elves dancing happily in the air.
The hammer hits the wire, making a crisp "ding-dong" sound, like a rhythmic percussion music.
Lu Qing and Village Chief Sun were both stunned. This was not just a renovation of old things, it was simply a wonderful performance!
