The roar of a car in the distance was getting closer and closer. A brand new jeep stopped at the entrance of the village. The headlights illuminated the faces of Shen Qiqi and Lu Qing, and also illuminated the expectation and confusion in their eyes.

The door to a new era is slowly opening, and they seem to be standing at a fork in the road, with an unknown fog ahead and a familiar homeland behind them.

The moonlight sprinkled on the village path, and the air was filled with the scent of soil and grass, but mixed with a hint of solemnity.

"Try? That's easy to say! What if we fail? Our ancestors have lived here peacefully for generations. Why should we take risks?" An elder had a stubborn look on his face, with a hint of dissatisfaction in his tone.

"That's right! The rules passed down by our ancestors cannot be broken! Who will be held responsible if something goes wrong?" Another elder also objected in a more firm tone.

Shen Qiqi patiently explained, "Times have changed. We can no longer cling to the old ways. Now the country encourages development and encourages people to get rich. We must also seize this opportunity to make the village more prosperous!"

"Prosperity? That sounds good! Who knows if it's a lie? We won't be fooled!" The elders remained unmoved. Their ideas were deeply rooted and difficult to change.

The visitor was stunned for a moment, obviously not expecting Shen Qiqi to be so generous as to invite them to visit.

The people behind him also looked at each other, curiosity gradually overcoming doubt.

The surrounding villagers also looked at Shen Qiqi.

Lu Qing glanced at Shen Qiqi with appreciation and patted the back of her hand gently.

He knew that Shen Qiqi's heart was not as calm as she appeared on the surface, but she was able to deal with doubts with such a calm attitude. He admired her courage and wisdom.

"Okay, then let's go and see what you are up to!" The man waved his hand and led the people behind him and Shen Qiqi to walk towards the village.

As the sun sets, the sky is burning with a fiery red sunset, shrouding the entire village in golden light.

"And me! Sister Qiqi, go ahead bravely, we all support you!" A girl with a ponytail also stood up, her eyes shining with longing for the future.

Seeing this scene, Shen Qiqi showed a surprised smile on her face, and a warm current surged in her heart.

She knew that there were still many young people in the village who were eager for change and progress!

This made her more determined in her belief.

"Great! With your words, I feel more confident!" Shen Qiqi laughed heartily, with a confident light in her eyes.
