Chapter 176 Teleportation Portal

One day later.

Li Tianyi has fully recovered, but Luo Shan still needs to rest for a few days.

With nothing to do, I wandered around the Qin Emperor's Mausoleum.

Before they knew it, they had arrived at a very strange place, surrounded by many huge stone coffins, each with an ever-burning lamp in front of it.

"Be careful!" Li Tianyi reminded himself as he slowly approached.

Arriving at the nearest coffin, nothing unusual happened, so he grew bolder and poked at the gap between the ground and the stone coffin with his Po Jun.

Suddenly, a strange, eerie wind appeared out of nowhere.

Li Tianyi was quite frightened and quickly protected himself, becoming fully alert.

Ten seconds or so passed, and nothing happened. His furrowed brows gradually relaxed, and a smile appeared on his lips: "There's wind here, which means there's an exit. If we can find it, we might be able to get out!"

Search patiently...

"We've been searching for almost three hours, and we still haven't found it!" Li Tian said, resting his chin on his hand. "Could my judgment be wrong? No, it should be!"

Slowly close your eyes and quickly review the scene of this place in your mind.

He rushed towards the most inconspicuous coffin, where there was indeed no ever-burning lamp, but in the center there was a barely visible groove.

"Finding this item might be the key to opening it!"

Looking around, my gaze settled on a protruding rock.

Leaping up, Po Jun continuously thrusts, causing the protruding part to fall off.

Upon catching it, I was overjoyed. "The person who designed this place has an unparalleled grasp of human nature. Who would have thought that the key to the mechanism was placed in the most visible spot, yet you would have simply ignored it!"

Slowly lower the key, and stop immediately just before it touches the ground.

"Bring the eldest brother here before activating the mechanism!"

Return at full speed.

A few hours later, Luo Shan was brought to this place.

"Big brother, you should rest for a bit!" Li Tianyi smiled faintly and placed the key in the slot.

Click, click!

boom......

The strange noises had been going on for over ten minutes and hadn't stopped.

"Could my judgment be wrong?" Li Tianyi frowned slightly, considering the possible events. He glanced up and caught sight of a place that looked similar to a trap, and immediately rushed over.

After cleaning the ground, a smaller mechanism appears.

"So that's how it is!" Li Tianyi exclaimed excitedly as he searched for the other key.

Luo Shan looked completely bewildered and cast an inquiring glance his way.

"The clicking sound we hear is the sound of the mechanism being activated. And the booming sound is the sound of it being deactivated," Li Tianyi explained.

"If this continues, it will never be possible to open it!" Luo Shan suddenly realized.

With their combined efforts, they quickly found another key.

The moment it was inserted, a loud clicking sound rang out, and the entire Qin Emperor's Mausoleum began to tremble, with countless specks of dust falling from the sky.

"Big brother, be careful!" Li Tianyi shouted anxiously.

Luo Shan quickly dodged, and a stone the size of a watermelon landed behind him.

Woohoo!

A ball of light appeared out of nowhere, rapidly grew larger, and finally formed the shape of a door.

"A portal?" Li Tianyi was confused.

A brief moment of hesitation flashed in Luo Shan's eyes, but it quickly hardened. "Brother, we've been inside for too long. We have to take the risk!"

"I'll listen to my brother!"

The two supported each other and rushed into the portal...

Two seconds later, the entire Qin Emperor's Mausoleum completely collapsed.

They appeared outside the Qin Emperor's Mausoleum, in the area closest to Tianying City.

"Who goes there?" he shouted coldly.

"Don't move, or I'll shoot!"

Li Tianyi and Luo Shan then realized that they were remnants of the 1st Division of the 76th Army and immediately revealed their identities.

"Impossible!" A platoon leader became even more vigilant. "War God Li and War God Luo have already entered the heart of the Qin Emperor's Mausoleum, and there's no possibility of them coming out again! Tell me, who exactly are you? Are you alien scum in disguise?"

"Brothers, we really did escape from the Qin Emperor's Mausoleum!" the two men said with bitter faces.

"Hammer!" a soldier exclaimed.

"Brothers, kill these two bastards who pretend to be war gods!" The platoon leader had already loaded his gun and was aiming angrily.

Just as they were about to pull the trigger, a cold shout came from afar: "Stop!"

"Commander, the commander is here!"

The crowd quickly put down their guns and saluted him.

This man was not old, about twenty-six or twenty-seven years old, and was quite burly. He slowly spoke: "I, Cao Li, can prove that they are two war gods!"

When the commander speaks, how could anyone disobey?

Li Tianyi cupped his hands in thanks, "Thank you, Brother Cao!"

"You're too kind!" Cao Ligong's eyes were a little red. "I should thank you for avenging the 76th Army. Everyone, attention! Salute!"

The entire First Division saluted the two men.

Luo Shan and Li Tianyi quickly returned the greeting.

After a brief exchange, they learned that only five hours had passed outside. The two were shocked, but they did not tell Cao Ligong.

"Brother Ligong, now that only you two are left in the 76th Army, what are your plans?" Li Tianyi asked.

"Sigh!" Cao Ligong looked at his subordinates, momentarily at a loss for what to do. "What do you think, Brother Li?"

Li Tianyi wanted to bring them under his command, but worried that without the support of a system, it would be difficult to support more than 10,000 people. His mind raced, and he suddenly said, "How about the 22nd Army?"

"I'd like to too, but I don't know if they'll agree!" Cao Ligong said with a troubled expression and a wry smile.

"That's easy, I'll make the contact!" Luo Shan patted his chest and assured him.

"Awaiting good news!" Cao Ligong saluted again.

"Wait patiently, I'll be right back!" Luo Shan turned and left.

Li Tianyi did not follow, but stayed behind to comfort the soldiers of the First Division and rekindle their hope of survival.

More than two hours later.

Luo Shan arrived with Wan Xin. Upon seeing him, the army commander saluted Cao Ligong, startling him into returning the salute. He was filled with apprehension.

“Every soldier in the 76th Army is outstanding; Wan Xin admires them from the bottom of his heart!” He gently pressed down Cao Ligong’s right arm. “Brother Ligong, when you come to my unit, you will still be a division commander. However, we need to change the 1st Division’s designation to the 4th Division. Is there a problem with that?”

“No!” Cao Ligong’s eyes were resolute.

No one could have imagined that the division commander recruited today would make outstanding contributions to the rise of the 22nd Army. (To be continued)

......

Ten hours later, in the council chamber of the 22nd Army.

Li Tianyi and Luo Shan explained Tojo Akimasa's plan in detail.

"The most urgent task is to find the signal transmitter he buried in the Himalayas!" Wan Xin said grimly.

Agreed!

"agree!"

After everyone had expressed their opinions, Li Tianyi turned to Wan Xin and said, "Brother, immediately and secretly contact the leaders of all the shelters. Make sure they are absolutely trustworthy!"

"Yes, I understand!" Wan Xin frowned deeply, his face grim.

"This is of utmost importance. I urge you all to cooperate sincerely and ensure that nothing goes wrong!" Luo Shan did not give a military salute, but instead bowed.

"We swear on the honor of soldiers: we guarantee that nothing will go wrong!" The crowd returned the salute.

A moment later.

Li Tianyi and Luo Shan bid farewell to everyone and secretly set off towards the Himalayas...

at the same time.

Deep within the Himalayas, in a place shrouded in darkness, a strange, blood-red light suddenly flickered...
