Chapter 357 Azure Dragon Token

After the power that did not belong to the lizard was lost, it was no longer dominated by evil, and its mind became clear.

"I traded a life for a message." A stilted interstellar phrase.

Xiaoman paused, then deactivated the Bloodthirsty Sword. "What news?"

Lizards, after all, have limited human language skills and can only gesture, leaving Xiaoman completely confused.

"What exactly are you talking about?"

In order to survive, the lizard gestured again, but this time with a slight slowdown.

With each gesture, Xiaoman would say the same word, eventually forming a complete sentence: "This is just a planet abandoned by the Ghost Beast Clan. The only valuable thing here is that statue."

The lizard was overjoyed, nodded emphatically, and pointed to the statue's head, "That's where you need it."

Xiaoman could tell the lizard wasn't lying, so she released it and kicked it away, yelling, "Get lost!"

"Thank you, thank you." The lizard was overjoyed and backed away, disappearing from sight.

Xiaoman had already arrived next to the statue and was carefully sensing the faint aura inside it. She indeed felt an extremely familiar aura in the very center of the head.

"The lizard really wasn't lying to me."

The statue's head was quickly shattered, revealing a tattered parchment scroll about the size of two fingers.

They pulled out a large piece of parchment, placed it on top, and sure enough, when pieced together, it formed a complete map.

“No wonder Master Dongling and I misjudged it; it turns out the core parchment scroll was missing.” His lips twitched. “The person who designed this map is absolutely a genius. They managed to omit the core part that runs through the entire map, yet they managed to make you unable to see the flaws and even mislead you about the general direction.”

He looked up and smiled wryly. "There are always people better than you, and there's always something beyond your understanding. You have to always remember this saying in order to go further and live longer."

My mindset changed quietly...

An hour and a half later.

Xiaoman had already traveled at the speed of light to the vicinity of another planet. Just as she was about to enter the atmosphere, many red dots appeared on the screen.

"Beep beep, pterosaur swarm detected. Threat level: moderate." (Radar system)

Xiaoman ignored them, increased the dive force, and the fighter jet broke through the atmosphere like a meteorite, scaring the pterosaurs into scattering and fleeing.

The small planet is covered with lush vegetation, ancient trees reaching for the sky, and is teeming with unfamiliar creatures.

They have one thing in common: they are very similar to prehistoric creatures from Earth.

With a hint of doubt in his mind, he frowned slightly and kept checking the images transmitted back by the radar.

When it was less than two kilometers above the ground, a huge creature came into view.

“It looks like it’s pieced together from dozens of different creatures.” He then shook his head, pointing to the enlarged image, “There are no traces of splicing, which means this thing was born like this.”

I racked my brains but couldn't figure out what kind of creature it was, so I had no choice but to go around this place and land.

The creatures ignored the fighter jets and went about their own business.

Shortly after, Xiaoman landed safely.

The moment the hatch was opened, the fragrance of flowers, grass, and vegetation wafted out.

In that instant, it felt as if I had returned to Earth, a captivating and irresistible experience.

Xiaoman's smile grew wider and wider as she spread her arms and slowly spun around in place.

After several laps, I slowly opened my eyes, feeling completely relaxed. "I haven't felt this good in a long time. This place is really nice."

Once you've determined your direction, head towards the location marked on the map.

As time went by, Xiaoman became very puzzled, "How come I can't sense even the slightest evil aura in the place where the Ghost Beast Clan lives?"

He quickly pulled out the parchment scroll to check, making sure he hadn't gone to the wrong place, and his brows furrowed even more.

I carefully observed the changes around me...

Suddenly, a very faint aura of evil emanated from the right slope, and the anxiety in my heart was completely relieved.

Running quickly, I arrived at the source of the aura and found it to be the entrance of a small cave.

Just as I was considering whether to go in, the Bloodthirsty Sword began to hum and vibrate incessantly.

"Is there anything you need inside?" Xiaoman asked, trying to comfort the Bloodthirsty Sword.

A tremendous force emanated from the Bloodthirsty Sword, pulling Xiaoman into the cave.

It was somewhat dark inside, and you could vaguely see the steps.

Continue forward until you reach the bottom of the stairs.

"Why is it a stone table again?"

Based on the previous experience, I checked them but found no mechanisms or buttons.

"Could they not be on the stone table, but somewhere else?"

To verify his judgment, he searched the surrounding area but found nothing.

Xiaoman was wary, her brows furrowed as she explored inside.

at the same time.

Deep inside, the edge of a large box gleamed with an eerie light.

Light shone through the hole and outwards.

Coincidentally, the direction Xiaoman was looking was where the light was falling, and a feeling of being watched by a wild beast made her shudder.

Be on high alert; no living beings have appeared.

"What exactly is it?"

His brow furrowed slightly, his mind racing, but he couldn't figure it out no matter what he did, so he could only continue exploring.

Go straight ahead and you'll arrive at a large cave.

"Huh, human dwellings."

His gaze swept rapidly. "The surrounding layout is very similar to that of the ancient people of Earth. Could it be that our fellow Earthlings live here?"

Another thought flashed through his mind. He gripped the Bloodthirsty Sword tightly and began to explore further inside.

They had all reached the center and were not in any danger.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a strange symbol carved on the edge of the stone bench.

"It's too old, too worn, and we can't recognize what it depicts at all," Xiaoman frowned slightly, pouting. "Why does this symbol seem so familiar?"

He patted his head. "Why can't I remember where I've seen this before?"

I searched through my memories, but still couldn't recall anything, so I decided to stop thinking about it.

Passing through the center, you come to a huge wall covered in moss, with its edges severely weathered.

I gently pushed the wall, but there was no reaction.

Even with increased effort, there was still no response.

"I don't believe it."

Gathering his inner strength, he struck the mountainside with a palm, causing the mountain wall to tremble and moss and stone chips to fly everywhere.

Click!

A crack shot up rapidly to the top.

Click!

Spiderweb-like cracks appeared all around, as if the building was about to collapse at any moment.

He quickly created distance, exerted all his strength, and delivered two punches from a distance.

Boom! Thud!

Splash...

The mountainside collapsed, and rocks flew everywhere.

Xiaoman had already retreated to a safe location and was staring intently ahead.

Soon after, the surroundings returned to calm.

A dazzling blue light shone from behind the pile of stones.

What the hell?

Approaching cautiously, I felt no danger, but rather a sense of intimacy spread throughout my body.

Suddenly, the Black Fiend Token inside the spatial bag began to tremble.

"Could this place be related to it?"

As soon as the Black Fiend Token was taken out, it broke free from the palm and flew towards the cyan light.

This thing is of great significance to Xiaoman and must not be lost. She quickly chased after it.

Beyond the pile of rocks, there is a path ahead that can only be traversed by one person at a time.

"We must find the Black Fiend Token as soon as possible."

Using the assassin's rapid advance, they quickly reached the end, where the Black Fiend Token hovered beside the Azure Light.

Looking at them, the questions I couldn't understand before suddenly became clear.

"So that symbol is the emblem of the Black Fiend Palace. No wonder it felt familiar."

He reached out and grasped the Black Fiend Token, and a terrifying power surged into his body.

The internal energy, driven by an instinct to resist, automatically isolates it.

Xiaoman was shocked. She released the Black Fiend Token, her expression turning serious. "You tried to ambush me?"

Hei Sha Ling trembled, as if to say, "Grandma, I wouldn't dare to plot against you, would I? That was Qing Mang, it had nothing to do with me."

Reminded by it, my gaze fell on the cyan light, where a black demon token was also suspended, only this one was cyan.

"What kind of token is this?" He frowned, on high alert, touched it with his Bloodthirsty Sword, and after confirming that there was no danger, he boldly grabbed it.

An even more violent surge of primal force swept in.

He quickly dodged aside.

The Forces converged, forming the appearance of a slender middle-aged man.

He spoke slowly, "So many years have passed, and finally, someone who possesses the Black Fiend Token has found this place." He paused for a moment, then continued, "It wasn't in vain, it wasn't in vain at all!"

Xiaoman's heart was in her throat as she scrutinized the middle-aged man, asking, "Who are you?"

The middle-aged man smiled faintly. "Black Fiend Token owner, don't be afraid, I won't hurt you." With a flick of his fingers, the cyan token landed in his hand. "There's something I don't understand. Since you are the owner of the Black Fiend Token, why don't you recognize the Azure Dragon Token?"

A boundless rage enveloped the surroundings, and Xiaoman was imprisoned.

This force was exceptionally strong; not only could one not break free, but even internal energy could not be circulated normally.

Xiaoman quickly recounted the entire story of how she obtained the Black Fiend Token.

"So that's how it is." A smile that grew wider appeared on the middle-aged man's lips as he withdrew the binding force. "Little guy, you're quite good."

With a wave of his right hand, the scene changed.

"No need to worry, I mean no harm." The middle-aged man concealed all his aura. "Since you have such a connection with our Black Fiend Hall and possess the Black Fiend Token, you have already joined our hall. However, I have not yet acknowledged your strength."

He slowly drew two longswords. "Come, defeat me, and you will be a member of the Black Fiend Hall."

For some reason, Xiaoman smiled strangely and tilted her head, "What if I don't make a move?"

“Then I absolutely will not allow anyone who possesses the Black Fiend Token to be a member of the Black Fiend Palace.”

A terrifying killing intent reappeared.

"That's more like it." Xiaoman laughed heartily.

The middle-aged man was taken aback, then burst into laughter, "An interesting young man." He then straightened his face, his expression turning serious, "Although I am merely an afterimage, my cultivation level surpasses yours by two major realms. Do you truly wish to challenge me?"

He brandished his bloodthirsty sword, nodded, and said, "Come!"

"good!"

The middle-aged man moved his left hand slightly, and a terrifying sword light struck out, moving with lightning speed.

Xiaoman switched between various footwork techniques and barely managed to dodge.

"I really underestimated you. Let's go again!"

The two swords moved in unison, their blades clashing.

"The God of Slaughter is Slain in One Strike!"

Just as it approached the sword's edge, it suddenly stopped, did a somersault forward, and passed right through the center of the sword's edge.

It's advancing rapidly, and it's not far from being middle-aged.

A high-pitched bird cry rang out.

A miniature fire phoenix rose from the Bloodthirsty Sword, flapped its wings, and spat out a ball of true fire.

Under the burning of real fire, the fire phoenix grew rapidly.

Boom!

An approaching sword beam exploded.

The phoenix, baring its fangs and claws, charged towards the middle-aged man...
