Wang Zheng was accidentally reborn into a parallel world where spiritual energy was recovering.
He thought he would have to cultivate diligently, but he discovered he could rely entirely on a...
"Beep—beep—beep—"
Wang Zheng's decisive action surprised even the referee, who only blew the whistle to end the match now.
With this whistle, it was clear that the medical team was heading to treat Xiang Yan.
Then the entire training ground seemed to come alive again, and countless students began a lively discussion.
After seeing the teacher shake his head, the referee learned that Xiang Yan would not be able to recover in a short time, and then directly announced the result of the competition.
"This exchange meeting has now concluded. Wang Zheng from Jingnan University is the first place winner."
"Second place, Li Dabao from Shanghai University."
"Third place, Xiang Yan from Shanghai University."
...
As the referee's verdict was announced, the discussions among countless Nanjing University students turned into cheers. As the cheers grew louder, they seemed to have forgotten that just moments ago these people thought Wang Zheng was wrong.
After Wang Zheng left the field, the students in the rest area were so frightened that they quickly made way for him. Wang Zheng just pursed his lips and didn't say anything more.
"Wang Zheng, you're awesome! I knew you'd win!"
Wang Zheng didn't even need to hear the voice; just by the tone of the voice, he knew it must be Chu Xiaoman. When he turned his head, he saw that it was indeed her and Wu Huan coming over to congratulate him.
Seeing their consistent attitude, Wang Zheng relaxed his brow and replied with a grin, "You have confidence in me, just like I believe you will definitely be eliminated in the first round."
"Hey, Wang Zheng! I think you've lost your mind. Prepare to die!"
Looking at the energetic Chu Xiaoman, Wang Zheng felt happy again and stopped thinking about anything else.
They were never meant to be together; a true dragon cannot coexist with a snake.
As the match ended, the students from Magic University quickly left the arena, and the spectators in the training ground also dispersed.
As his classmates left and dispersed, even Mei Yiqi, who was still unconscious, was carried away.
Wang Zheng thought he would wake up, but he didn't expect that even after he had vented his anger on him, he was still sleeping. He was really spineless.
Wang Zheng sat alone with his legs crossed, leaning lazily against a seat in the rest area, not moving at all, seemingly lost in thought.
Chu Xiaoman called out several times, but he didn't respond. In the end, Wu Huan covered Chu Xiaoman's mouth, dragged her away, and the two of them left first.
After a while, she walked over with light steps and sat down next to Wang Zheng.
He then said, "Do you regret it? I advised you against it before."
Wang Zheng didn't even open his eyes.
"I don't regret it. I just did what I wanted to do. We're not the same kind of people anyway, and I don't care what they think."
Then Wang Zheng jumped up and said, "Teacher Qu, why is it you? I thought the principal came to give me a reward."
Qu Jianshuang tossed a box over irritably: "The principal is still with the people from Shanghai University. Besides, do you think the principal is that free?"
'Tch, old man Chu has plenty of free time anyway.'
Of course, I wouldn't casually reveal my thoughts.
Wang Zheng didn't complain much. He immediately opened the box in his hand, looked at the colorful spiritual crystals inside, touched each one with his hand, and then nodded in satisfaction.
'It seems Old Man Chu wasn't cheating; these are all top-quality items.'
I need to take some time to settle down and focus. With so many spiritual crystals, improving my attributes should be on the agenda again.
As Wang Zheng made plans in his mind, a lewd smile crept across his face.
Qu Jianshuang shook his head helplessly as he looked at his student's greedy appearance.
She had seen Wang Zheng being respected and isolated by his classmates in the audience, and then she saw him lying there alone after the show, not leaving. She felt that Wang Zheng must be feeling bad.
After all, he was just trying to stand up for his classmate.
Although he spoke lightly and said we weren't the same kind of people, his feigned strength was quite heartbreaking.
I was just thinking about how to comfort him, but I didn't expect that this kid would turn around and start thinking about his competition prize.
If I hadn't taken the initiative to bring it to him, he'd probably be getting impatient by now, right?
Qu Jianshuang watched as Wang Zheng stared intently at the box in his hand, chuckling foolishly. He cursed himself for being so meddlesome. Why bother with this little bastard? Judging from his carefree attitude, maybe he really didn't care.

Postscript:
The exchange competition has now come to an end.
I've actually seen many of the comments and opinions from fellow readers recently.
Actually, the setting and framework of this book are very extensive, and there are many clues, both explicit and implicit. I planned to write it as a long novel, but I never thought it would be finished so hastily in just a few hundred thousand words.
(Actually, the background setting isn't even finished yet.)
I didn't want to make the story too flat or bland, so I added more scenes for supporting characters as long as it was logical, to lay the groundwork for future plot developments. However, this made people feel that the plot was weak.
Actually, if we really want to keep fighting, it wouldn't be impossible to keep writing about Wang Zheng. Just have a few villains provoke him, and Wang Zheng will show off and defeat them, leaving everyone amazed and shouting how awesome he is.
Change the map and keep showing off. In the Monster Battlefield, just add points and push through.
However, this would make it seem like Wang Zheng is the only living person in the entire book, and the lack of transition between events would be abrupt.
People enjoy reading this book, not because they enjoy such a mindless plot.
To be honest, writing scenes like fighting to advance the pace of the game and changing maps is much more difficult than developing character personalities.
I just hope that if a book ends up leaving an impression on readers with only Wang Zheng, then the other supporting characters can also be more vivid.
Okay, enough rambling.
I just want to say that I accept all criticism and suggestions, and I will try my best to speed up the process.
To express my apologies, I will only be updating four times a week starting in May. I will try to write more during the holiday, and I hope you enjoy reading it.
