Chapter 5 Returning Home to Recognize Father Returning home to recognize father, Afu…

"Thank you for your help, Afu. Little Fia prefers a natural, wood-based style, likes lace, wooden furniture, and lots of flowers."

Alfred listened as Dick recounted Enid's preferences and even unusual eating habits in great detail, as if he had solved the mystery of Dick's recent strange behavior. After writing down Dick's lengthy explanation, Alfred quickly made a phone call and arranged a series of tasks.

"It's a pity that Miss Enid will have to eat vegetarian food tomorrow morning, but please rest assured that I will pass on Mr. Dick's kindness to Miss Enid."

"Oh no, please, Afu, don't tell her... well, I'm not sure if she'd want to see me."

He clearly remembered the night he was forced to leave. It was the same stormy night when he arrived there. The moon was barely visible in the starry sky, which was awakened by thunder. He could only watch helplessly as the place began to desolate and decay. He could only see the clear sadness on Enid's face through the out-of-the-way light of the fireflies sheltering from the rain.

“I’m sorry, Dick. I don’t think we should be together. I only just found out you’re Dick Grayson, Bruce Wayne’s son.” Yes, just now he remembered his full name and codename Nightwing, and even more, including Flying Grayson, and those rainy nights of the past. He remembered them all.

Enid's overly serious tone wasn't fake; he recognized the lie, which made it all the more ridiculous. He couldn't understand why he'd broken up with Bruce, and before he could even ask, he was kicked out, kicked out of this forest.

Okay, but now Dick knows why: she's Bruce's daughter.

After genetic testing, it's 100% confirmed that she is Enid's biological daughter—Enid's blood sample just arrived for testing, and it's now confirmed that what she said is true.

"So, your breakup was related to B?" Tim suddenly spoke, interrupting Dick's thoughts. His words were so certain that Dick couldn't find any way to refute him and could only nod in agreement. "Yes."

“I think the master wouldn’t actually mind his children’s free choice to fall in love, would he?” Alfred’s words struck Dick like a clear spring extinguishing a flame. In fact, he knew this too, so he could only look up at Alfred and say with his beautiful eyes, “Then I’ll leave it to you, Alfred.”

“It is my honor, Mr. Dick.”

Alfred had thoughtfully prepared a platter of fruits that Enid could currently eat when she arrived at the manor. The other children were finishing up their night patrol, and they had just arrived home when he delivered the paper copy of the genetic test results.

“Thanks, Afu,” he said, taking the test results from Afu and handing them to Enid. His sincere blue eyes looked at her tenderly. “It seems I don’t have to worry about lying anymore, does it? So now, are you willing to give me, your father, a chance to get to know my daughter?”

“I…” She was at a loss for words, or perhaps she didn’t know how to say it, so she remained silent. Just then, Tim and Dick, dressed neatly, came down from upstairs, followed by Damian. Damian’s gaze had already shifted from Enid to Sed, that is, the gray wolf.

“Great, it’s nice to introduce you. Richard John Grayson, also known as Dick, is your older brother. I guess you two already know each other? You also have a second older brother, Jason Todd, who currently lives elsewhere, and Timothy Jackson Drake, your third younger brother, who is now in charge of Wayne Enterprises.” He paused slightly. “You also have two sisters, which I bet you’ll like: Stephanie Brown and Cassandra Cain. Cassandra lives in Hong Kong now; she’s younger than you. Stephanie… she’s very lively. Great, we were just talking about you.”

As soon as she finished speaking, a lively and sexy girl with long blonde hair suddenly appeared beside Enid. She smiled at Enid and said, "What did you say about me? It didn't sound nice."

"No, besides, I think Enid would like you."

"Hmm, I like our little sister very much too."

The atmosphere seemed a little too lively. It was the first time she had seen so many people surrounding her so affectionately. Through the crowd, she could even see Dick's blue eyes. She looked away slightly and glanced at Stephanie, who was also looking at her. She could read sincerity in Stephanie's eyes. She could feel that everyone here was welcoming her, even the boy at the very back who looked a little unwell. Well, her brother Damian was too. Well, maybe his welcome was for Selder.

Serd was a clever wolf, and she keenly caught Damian's gaze. It was purely out of love for animals, and she didn't mind. So she walked over with graceful steps and brushed her soft fur against his hand.

“Her name is Serd, and she is the bravest knight.” Perhaps she should be addressed as an elder, but Serd clearly doesn’t like that title. “You can touch her; she has given permission.”

Damian scoffed softly, then her gaze softened, directed at Catherine. "Although you look very weak, I barely allowed you to stay, but that doesn't mean I acknowledge you as my sister. You're not worthy."

Despite saying that, his gaze remained fixed on Catherine. He could even feel that there was no dust on her soft fur, and even her eyes were filled with human kindness.

“You can just call me Tim.” Tim met her gaze from the other side, smiled slightly, and nodded at her.

"It seems everyone welcomes you. How about you?" Bruce wasn't surprised by Damian's attitude, but he was clearly a bit more restrained tonight. It seemed Serd really had a lot of influence. "Thank you, I..."

“Compared to that, I think Miss Enid needs rest more right now, doesn’t she? Of course, not just her, I think none of you have evolved sleep yet, right?” Alfred suddenly appeared with a smile and a polite tone. Enid met his kind face. “I’ll take you to your room, please follow me.”

“Okay, thank you for your help, Grandpa Alfred,” she had already introduced herself to Alfred when she entered the manor. “I’ll go and rest now, and may everyone have a good night’s sleep.”

Enid concluded with a somewhat solemn tone before following Alfred upstairs. The room was arranged in a relatively secluded corner, with vines climbing the white wooden door. Beautiful cursive script was carved on the wooden board and cleverly hung on the vines; it bore her name.

She watched as Afu pushed open the door. It was the familiar scent of wood and plants, completely different from the one in the cabin, yet it felt the same. It was her favorite style, the design she had drawn up when she had talked to Dick the night before about building a small cabin with him in the forest (though unfortunately, it never happened).

"How could this be..."

"I hope you're right, Mr. Dick, but it seems you really like it, which is wonderful."

"Hmm... I like it very much, thank you, Grandpa Afu."

After a brief conversation with her, Alfred closed the door and slowly withdrew. After washing up, Enid stood on the windowsill, facing the western stars, and began her evening prayer. After the prayer, she let herself sink into the soft bed. When the hazy dream came, she could only feel...so soft, like clouds, and then she fell asleep.

A flash of silver light disappeared outside the door.

"The aura emanating from her is a very pure magical aura,"

Zatanna made time to come after receiving Batman's summons and had Enid tested. This only alleviated some of Batman's doubts; more of his concerns remained unresolved, particularly regarding the dark storm and Nature Worship mentioned in Dick's report.

However, after using the names Mary Read and Enid, Batman discovered new clues about the existence of "Niaf." There are many people with the same name, but the only one who could be associated with the Celtic race at the same time was the one who was labeled a heretic.

However, due to the invasion of the Roman Empire, all content related to Druids and ancient Celtic religions was completely destroyed. In Druidic beliefs, all knowledge related to the religious church could not be written down, so all Druids passed it down orally, which severely hindered the search for more clues.

Red Robin and a few others who were supposed to be driven away were now huddled together. Alfred walked over calmly, a smile on his face.

"Sir, I hope you haven't forgotten the company meeting at 10 a.m. tomorrow? And young master Dick, it seems you don't want your colleagues at the police station to witness your lateness again tomorrow, do you? Young master Tim, although you don't have to go to school tomorrow, it's a pity you agreed to attend another meeting in your place. As for young master Damian... perhaps you're not sleepy, but Miss Enid is going for a morning run with Miss Seid tomorrow."

Damian met Alfred's smile, then silently returned to his room with the others. As for Bruce, after failing to win Alfred's favor (?), he was also sent to bed.

As night faded and dawn kissed the sky, Enid's door opened.

A note from the author:

----------------------

This place doesn't have Afu! Afu is helping Dick with an assist—

And to add, I forgot to mention the age.

Bruce is 45, Barbara is 28, Dick is 27, Jason is 20, Stephanie is 18, Enid is 18, Cassandra is 17, Tim is 16, and Damian is 10.

Stephanie is older than Enid, because Enid is a year younger than Stephanie. It's currently around June, not August yet, so the cloak battle is over! This doesn't follow the main storyline; it's just a personal interpretation!
