Xiao Yunying never dreamed that she would go downstairs to buy cold medicine, and a bolt of lightning would strike her into ancient times, turning her into a fat girl who was abandoned on her weddi...
Xiao Yunying looked back and discovered that a long feathered arrow was stuck in the horse's rump.
The horse, in pain, began to gallop wildly. Xiao Yunying had no way to control the maddened horse and could only watch helplessly as it strayed off the road and ran wildly into the woods.
The branches and leaves of various trees kept whipping at her, and Xiao Yunying could only bury her face in the horse's back to avoid it.
When she finally had a moment to look up, she realized she was getting further and further away from the main road, so she tried to pull on the reins to change direction.
But the horse wouldn't listen to her commands at all, and just kept charging forward.
Fortunately, because of this, the men in black behind them were unable to catch up for a while, and because of the cover of various trees and leaves, they did not fire any arrows.
After running for a while, Xiao Yunying felt that the horse under her had calmed down a bit, and tried to control its direction with the reins again.
Sensing something approaching from behind, she turned around and saw several men in black standing very close to her.
The leader was leaping between tree trunks, and after a few breaths it was only a few meters away from me, as if it could reach out and grab me.
Xiao Yunying hurriedly poured chili oil into balloons in the supermarket, while inwardly marveling at the existence of such light-footed skills. She wondered what kind of people these were.
Is this reasonable? Isn't this beyond the limits of human endurance? Is this something a normal person could do?!
Seeing that the two were close enough, the man in black reached out to grab the back of her collar.
Just as Xiao Yunying was about to throw chili oil at him, a person suddenly appeared from her right rear at an even faster speed than the man in black. He used his long sword to deflect the man's outstretched hand, wrapped his arms around Xiao Yunying's waist, and lifted her off the horse.
Xiao Yunying landed on her feet, still shaken, and looked at the man in front of her: "Luo Sheng, what brings you here?"
Luo Sheng looked at her and said, "Of course I'm here to save you."
"How did you know...?"
Before she could finish her question, the group of men in black attacked. Luo Sheng shielded her behind him, blocking their swords, until the guards who had just caught up stopped them. He then pulled Xiao Yunying and continued to retreat deeper into the forest.
Xiao Yunying let him pull her along; it has to be said that Luo Sheng gave her a great sense of security at this moment.
But this sense of security didn't last long, as another group of men in black, more than twenty in total, came chasing after her from the left.
Wei Xun arrived with several men and blocked their way: "Master, please go first."
Without hesitation, Luo Sheng pulled Xiao Yunying in a different direction and fled the place as quickly as possible.
Unfortunately, they had fewer people than the men in black, and they couldn't stop them all in a short time; some of them still managed to catch up.
Luo Sheng was fine escaping on his own, but the problem was protecting Xiao Yunying, who didn't know martial arts. He couldn't fight against so many opponents, and before long, he was injured.
Seeing that he had been distracted protecting her, resulting in injuries to his left arm and back, Xiao Yunying took advantage of the moment when he blocked an attack and led her away to ask:
"Luo Sheng, is there no reinforcement?"
Without turning his head, Luo Sheng said, "With me here, I won't let you get hurt."
"I don't want to hear your promises, I want to know the most accurate picture right now."
Before Luo Sheng could answer, he felt an arrow coming from behind him. He turned around, blocked it with his longsword, and pushed Xiao Yunying behind a tree.
"You go first."
Xiao Yunying knew that staying would only be a hindrance, so she didn't hesitate and turned to run away.
As I ran, I realized something was wrong.
At the edge of the woods, there was a sheer cliff!
By the time her nearsighted eyes could see that there was no road in the distance, she was already very close to the cliff.
She could only slow down and turn in any direction, trying to avoid the area.
Unfortunately, the men in black who followed her didn't give her a chance, trapping her there in a semi-encirclement.
Xiao Yunying was so anxious she wanted to slap herself twice. How could she have run here?
At the same time, she was calculating in her mind: what were the chances that she could throw nine balloons filled with chili oil at the same time and hit them right in the face?
The chances of winning are slim.
With a heavy heart, Xiao Yunying used an electric cooker at the supermarket to boil a large pot of scalding hot chili oil.
Do you want to drive her to her death? If you're going to die, you'll take a few others down with you!
One of the men in black said, "Miss Xiao, we don't want to hurt you, as long as you come with us obediently..."
"impossible!"
An angry shout came from behind him, and at the same time a sharp sword aura struck. The man in black could only shut his mouth and swing his sword to block the attack.
Luo Song did not linger in the fight. He rushed through the gap towards Xiao Yunying and stood protectively in front of her.
Several men in black followed behind him, making it two against fifteen.
Seeing the blood flowing down his arm, Xiao Yunying felt a pang of pity: "Are you alright?"
Luo Sheng looked at the person opposite him warily: "Nothing's wrong."
Xiao Yunying was trying to figure out how to escape this predicament, but the other party didn't give her a chance to think and attacked again.
Luo Sheng pushed her back and went to meet her himself.
Seeing him struggling to block the attacks of more than a dozen people, Xiao Yunying took the initiative to retreat to the edge of the cliff and looked down.
My goodness, this is much higher than the cliff where the tiger fell to its death; it's the kind of cliff with an unfathomable bottom.
After Luo Sheng blocked another wave of attacks and retreated to her side, Xiao Yunying hurriedly asked, "Luo Sheng, do you think you can leave safely if I'm willing to go with them?"
Luo Sheng said in a heavy tone, "She captured you to threaten me, Yun Ying. I don't want to give up on you, but I also can't give up the Emperor's trust in my Luo family. You can't go with them."
Xiao Yunying realized that if she went with this group, she and Luo Sheng might not die for the time being, but it would definitely put Luo Sheng in a dilemma.
