Brother, I Want to Date Your Arch-Nemesis

Pei Xi had a dream. In her dream, Jiang Cheng, the cold, sharp, and reclusive poor school hottie, became the founder of a famous domestic gaming company years later.

He built a princess room ...

Chapter 103 I Don't Mind Going to Hell with You

Pei Xi was always concerned about Jiang Cheng's illness.

Before going to bed that night, she sent Jiang Cheng another message, asking him how he was doing.

Jiang Cheng replied quickly, saying that nothing was wrong.

Pei Xi didn't actually believe what he said. In Jiang Cheng's words, as long as it wasn't a matter of life and death, everything was fine.

After all, he didn't utter a sound when he broke two ribs last time.

Pei Xi frowned as she typed a long message for him: take your medicine on time, drink plenty of hot water, keep warm, and get some rest.

Jiang Cheng agreed to all of them.

Pei Xi made him reassure her repeatedly before she finally felt a little relieved and fell asleep.

The next morning, after Pei Xi finished breakfast, he sent another message to Jiang Cheng.

Are you feeling any better?

He did not reply immediately this time.

Even after nine o'clock, an hour after the message was sent, my phone remained silent.

Pei Xi felt inexplicably flustered and immediately made a voice call.

The phone rang for a long time, but no one answered.

Holding her phone, Pei Xi felt increasingly uneasy. She decisively changed her clothes and went to the Big Fish Internet Cafe.

It wasn't that she was making a mountain out of a molehill, but Jiang Cheng's past record made her think twice.

When she arrived at the Big Fish Internet Cafe, she pushed open the door and saw that the person sitting at the front desk was not the skinny guy, but Zhu Yuan.

When Zhu Yuan saw her, his small eyes widened in surprise. "You...how did you get here?"

Pei Xi frowned, placed her hands on the bar, and whispered to him, "I messaged Jiang Cheng, but I couldn't reach him all morning, so I came to see if he was here."

Upon hearing this, Zhu Yuan sighed and waved his hand, saying, "It's nothing. Brother Cheng leaves every day at dawn and comes back around noon. He should be sleeping at home right now."

Pei Xi frowned even more deeply upon hearing this.

She knew he had ignored all her instructions from last night.

He won't listen to any advice to get some rest.

“Then I’ll go to his house and take a look,” Pei Xi said.

"Eh..."

Zhu Yuan stood up from the bar, just about to tell her not to worry too much, when the glass door trembled and Pei Xi's figure had already disappeared.

Zhu Yuan scratched his head, feeling as if he had seen this scene before.

These two people are walking faster than each other.

Jiang Cheng's house was very close to the internet cafe, and Pei Xi arrived in just a few minutes.

After visiting a few times, she is now quite familiar with the alleys in this urban village and will never get lost again.

She quickly arrived at Jiang Cheng's house and knocked on the door, but no one answered.

After a while, they knocked on the door again, and footsteps came from inside.

Then the door moved slightly and was opened from the inside, leaving a crack.

Jiang Cheng's face was revealed.

Upon seeing Pei Xi, he was startled for a moment, revealing a rare look of bewilderment.

What brings you here?

He frowned and asked.

His face was very red, even his eyes were a little red. Pei Xi looked him up and down and asked with some concern, "Do you have a fever?"

Jiang Cheng paused for a moment, then nodded. "I think so."

Pei Xi frowned. She knew it; Jiang Chengjing's quiet demeanor meant nothing good.

“You didn’t reply to my messages, so I came over,” she said gently.

Jiang Cheng paused for a moment, then explained, "My phone screen broke yesterday, and I haven't had a chance to get it repaired yet."

Pei Xi gave an "oh" and then stared at him intently.

The two suddenly fell silent.

She realized that Jiang Cheng didn't intend to say much to her, let alone invite her in.

Two seconds later, Jiang Cheng suddenly spoke in a cold voice: "Pei Xi, you can leave. Don't worry about me."

Pei Xi was taken aback. She blinked, seemingly not expecting him to say that suddenly, and looked somewhat flustered.

Jiang Cheng added, "I'm fine, don't worry about me, go on your way."

His tone was even somewhat cold and impatient, as if he was eager to get rid of her.

Pei Xi looked at his face, mechanically said "Oh", and then whispered, "...Then I...I'm leaving."

After saying that, she lowered her eyes, said nothing more, and turned to leave.

Jiang Cheng watched her retreating figure, his eyes darkening. After a few seconds, he looked away and closed the door.

He turned around and looked towards the doorway of the inner room.

Jiang Jin was leaning against the door, looking at him with a sinister gaze.

Jiang Jin had her leg broken for cheating at the card table, so she hasn't gone anywhere for the past two days.

She looked haggard, but as she looked at Jiang Cheng walking back, her mouth still seemed to be filled with blood: "Is that the rich girl from the wealthy family? She came all the way here to see you, aren't you going to invite her in to sit down?"

Jiang Cheng didn't respond and walked straight towards the bedroom.

He didn't want to come back to stay since Jiang Jin was home, but after taking a shower last night, he lay on the bed feeling dizzy and fell asleep without realizing it.

The bath water was probably too cold, so I developed a fever without realizing it.

He didn't even glance at Jiang Jin, went straight into the house, and prepared to take his phone out to get it repaired. When Jiang Jin saw his nonchalant attitude, she instantly exploded, "Are you stupid? I worked so hard to give you such a handsome face, and you don't know how to use it? Do I have to teach you how to seduce a young lady?"

She spat on the ground, "What's the use of studying? Studying is like a waste of time, a money-losing proposition!"

"Shut up," Jiang Cheng suddenly said coldly.

He turned to look at Jiang Jin, his voice as cold as ice: "If you say another word, I don't mind going to hell with you."

Jiang Cheng's eyes were red from the fever, and coupled with his frosty expression, he looked quite frightening.
