Brother, I Want to Date Your Arch-Nemesis

Pei Xi had a dream. In her dream, Jiang Cheng, the cold, sharp, and reclusive poor school hottie, became the founder of a famous domestic gaming company years later.

He built a princess room ...

Chapter 26 Your brother is so handsome!

Evening, at the hotel.

After taking a shower, Pei Xi and Dai Wei sat on their respective beds, browsing movies online.

The hotel's TV was large and the screen was very clear. The two of them found a foreign suspense movie that was said to have good reviews.

However, the movie was too slow-paced, and as she watched it, Dai Wei started lying there yawning.

To keep myself from getting sleepy, I started chatting with Pei Xi.

At first, Pei Xi was able to keep up with her while watching the movie, but as they talked, his attention was gradually diverted, and he started to miss parts of the movie plot.

Ever since Dai Wei learned that Jiang Cheng's academic achievements were just as impressive as his looks, she couldn't stop talking about him and became extremely interested in him.

They started talking about their respective schools, and somehow the conversation drifted to the people participating in the competition. Then, naturally, they started talking about Jiang Cheng. Dai Wei asked Pei Xi with great interest, "To be honest, how many people at your No. 1 High School like him?"

Pei Xi shook her head; she really didn't know.

"I don't think I've ever heard of anyone confessing their feelings to him," she answered truthfully.

Dai Wei was taken aback when she heard this, but after a moment she smiled knowingly and frowned and said, "That's normal. He is handsome, but he's too cold. He looks at people with such indifference, as if he doesn't like anyone."

Pei Xi was not surprised to hear this, because almost everyone said the same thing.

“However…” Dai Wei paused, moved closer to the bed, propped herself up on the bed and looked at Pei Xi, “I’m telling you, there are definitely people who like him, but they just don’t dare to confess after seeing him like that.”

Pei Xi was taken aback, then hummed in agreement, finding Dai Wei's words to be reasonable.

After all, sometimes she thought Jiang Cheng was even better looking than Pei Zhi. Considering all the romantic entanglements Pei Zhi had had over the years, it was impossible that no one liked Jiang Cheng.

Dai Wei leaned closer and asked with a gossipy look, "Do you know if he has a girlfriend?"

“No.” Pei Xi shook his head subconsciously, then paused, seemingly unsure, as if thinking of something, “...maybe.”

The scene she witnessed at the food street that afternoon resurfaced in her mind.

Although she didn't think the girl and Jiang Cheng looked like a couple, perhaps Jiang Cheng, who is so cold, is just different when it comes to love?

After all, this was the first time she had seen him with a woman.

Well... apart from herself.

Dai Wei nodded naturally upon hearing this, "I guessed so too."

Then she looked up at the ceiling and subconsciously sighed, "I really don't know what kind of person he could fall for."

After a long pause, no one replied.

Dai Wei turned to look at Pei Xi, only to find that she seemed lost in thought, not listening to her at all.

"Pei Xi?" she called her name. "Why aren't you saying anything?"

Pei Xi was snapped out of his daze, looking a little confused. He smiled sheepishly and asked, "What did you just say?"

Dai Wei looked at her slightly bewildered expression and found it rather cute, so she couldn't help but laugh, repeating between laughs, "I mean, I really don't know what kind of person he would like."

For some reason, Pei Xi's mind is now filled with that dream she once had.

Jiang Chengyou's dark, deep eyes held a torrent of restrained emotions, almost overflowing.

Despite adopting a domineering and assertive posture, he knelt before her, looking up at her with every move he made, all with utmost caution.

So much time has passed, yet the images in her dream remain so vivid, so vivid that she can almost recall the slight redness at the corners of his eyes.

Pei Xi forced herself not to think about it, and after several seconds, she softly replied to Dai Wei, "Um, I... don't know either."

"Let's not talk about him anymore. That kind of handsome guy is just not for me anyway."

Dai Wei suddenly lost her strength and fell back onto the bed.

She just likes looking at good-looking people; she falls in love with every one she sees, and has no other intentions.

If she comes across someone more attractive, she'll immediately switch her affections; that's the essence of her being a sucker for good looks.

Suddenly, a message notification sound came from the phone under the covers. Dai Wei picked it up, glanced at it, and turned to Pei Xi, saying, "Gao Jialiang asked in the group chat if we've gone back yet, and if we want to go to his room to play board games."

Earlier in the car, Gao Jialiang created a group chat face-to-face, and Dai Wei added it without hesitation, but Pei Xi did not.

“He said there were several people, not just himself.” Dai Wei glanced at her phone and said, “I think he has ulterior motives.”

"Are you going?" Dai Wei asked.

Pei Xi shook her head; she didn't want to go.

She had only a so-so impression of Gao Jialiang before, and was indifferent to him. But after hearing what he and Xu Kai said in the classroom after class, her impression of the two of them plummeted.

The thought of his mocking tone, calling Jiang Cheng a "poor bastard," made Pei Xi feel very uncomfortable.

"It's not really appropriate to go to someone else's room so late at night," Pei Xi said. "Besides, they're not even friends."

Dai Wei nodded, indicating that he made sense, and snorted, "Making a girl go to a boy's room late at night, is he out of his mind?"

As she spoke, she typed rapidly on her phone, "I replied to him, saying we're going to sleep."

“Mm.” Pei Xi nodded.

After Dai Wei finished typing, she put down her phone, turned over, and lay on the bed, saying to Pei Xi, "Have you noticed that when Gao Jialiang sees you, he's like a dog seeing a bone, so obsequious?"

"Let me tell you, this kind of guy has probably flirted with more girls than he has leg hair." Dai Wei snorted. "This kind of guy is glib and shameless. If you keep pestering him, he might actually win over a few naive girls."
