Supreme Sacred Ring, Carefree Tycoon!
In the 80s, a good-quality old Hainan Huanghuali round-backed armchair from the Qing Dynasty could be yours for just twenty yuan. Now, two million yuan o...
Although he didn't know whether his guess was correct, Yang Jing felt that he should be almost right. Otherwise, why would they block the exit with so many huge rocks?
Yang Jing turned around and walked back. After he reached the hole, he began to look at it carefully.
After walking along the edge of the cave and finally reaching the other end, Yang Jing was completely excited by a raised stone platform.
This stone platform is more than 30 square meters in size and is more than one meter higher than the uneven hollow ground. Dozens of huge wooden boxes are placed on this stone platform, and the reason why the Holy Ring has a strong feeling of attraction comes from these huge wooden boxes.
Each of these boxes is one meter square and covered with dust. But the strange thing is that these boxes have been here for who knows how many years. Although there are ventilation holes in this hole, this is in northern Myanmar after all. Although the air is not as humid as outside, it is definitely not dry.
It was incredible that these boxes were intact in such a humid environment. Ordinary wooden boxes would rot in 40 to 50 years in such an environment, but none of these boxes were rotten.
Yang Jing gently wiped off the dust on the box and quietly activated the identification skill. The answer given by the holy ring almost made Yang Jing jump up.
"Phoebe nanmu submerged wood box, 1659, Mu Tianbo."
"Hiss..." Yang Jing took a breath of cold air. These dozens of large wooden boxes were actually made of Phoebe nanmu sunken wood. This was too luxurious!
Sunken wood, also known as ebony, is formed when earthquakes, floods, and mudslides bury all the above-ground plant life in low-lying areas such as ancient riverbeds. Some trees buried in the mud are carbonized over thousands or even tens of thousands of years under the conditions of lack of oxygen and high pressure, and under the action of bacteria and other microorganisms, so it is also called "carbonized wood".
There are many kinds of dark wood, including willow, cycad, camphor, golden nanmu, small-leaf nanmu, red toon, yew, mulberry, yellow willow, yellow cypress, locust, etc. These logs have been buried underground for thousands of years. Because of their age, they are very dense, hard and heavy. Among them, golden nanmu dark wood is the most valuable.
Phoebe nanmu is one of the most precious species of ebony, and it takes great luck to find it. There is a saying among the people that "gold is sent to the underworld in exchange for ebony to offer sacrifice to the gods". Because Phoebe nanmu is a mysterious and precious "treasure" and "artifact", there is another saying among the people that "even if you have a box of jewels, it is not as good as a piece of ebony". This precious wood is even known as the "Emperor's Wood".
No wonder these wooden boxes have not decayed after being stored here for so long, it turns out that they are made of ebony. This kind of ebony can remain intact for thousands of years even if it is buried underground, let alone placed in such a place.
What shocked Yang Jing was not the wooden boxes, but the fact that the person who made them was Mu Tianbo, the Duke of Qian!
Who is Mu Tianbo? He was a general of the founding of the Ming Dynasty, the adopted son of Zhu Yuanzhang, the eleventh-generation grandson of Mu Ying, Duke of Qian, and the last Duke of Qian in the Ming Dynasty.
Mu Tianbo inherited the title of Duke of Qian at the age of ten and guarded Nanyun for the Ming imperial family. Later, Emperor Yongli Zhu Youlang fled to Nanyun, and Mu Tianbo followed Emperor Yongli into Burma and eventually died in the Curse Water Disaster.
The Mu family had guarded Nanyun for generations and were loyal ministers of the Ming Dynasty. When the last emperor of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Youlang, fled to Nanyun, Mu Tianbo, Li Dingguo and Sun Kewang assisted Zhu Youlang in resisting the Qing army.
If Mu Tianbo, Li Dingguo and Sun Kewang could work together, Zhu Youlang's small court might not be able to be maintained in Nanyun. However, Sun Kewang was ambitious and betrayed Emperor Yongli, which resulted in a significant reduction in the strength of the Ming army, and Wu Sangui took the opportunity to capture Nanyun.
In desperation, Zhu Youlang had to leave General Li Dingguo to lead the army to continue to resist the Qing army in Yunnan and Guizhou, while he led the small court to flee to Burma. As a result, he did not end up well in Burma, and was eventually captured by the rebellious Burmese king, which completely ended the history of the Ming Dynasty.
Yang Jing was also familiar with this piece of history. He naturally knew that Mu Tianbo, the Duke of Qian, was the main minister who escorted Zhu Youlang into Myanmar at that time. However, how could these large wooden boxes containing royal treasures appear here?
There is no doubt that Mu Tianbo is loyal to the royal family, but how do you explain these treasures?
Yang Jing was scratching his head a bit...
