Supreme Sacred Ring, Carefree Tycoon!
In the 80s, a good-quality old Hainan Huanghuali round-backed armchair from the Qing Dynasty could be yours for just twenty yuan. Now, two million yuan o...
In fact, the original copy of "Lanting Xu" is now in Yang Jing's storage space, which has clarified many problems.
Since the "Preface to the Lanting Poems" that Li Er designated to be buried with him was secretly replaced by his son, it is not surprising that Wu Ze, as Li Zhi's wife, fell into the hands of the original.
Wu Meiniang was definitely a daring person. She even dared to steal things from Old Li's family. What was the authentic copy of "Preface to the Poems Composed at the Orchid Pavilion"?
Wu Ze was also very fond of calligraphy. If Li Zhi really secretly replaced the original copy of "Preface to the Lanting Poems Composed at the Orchid Pavilion" that his father Li Er was going to bury with him, then what was wrong with Wu Ze taking the "Preface to the Lanting Poems Composed at the Orchid Pavilion" for herself after Li Zhi's death?
Perhaps because she saw with her own eyes Li Zhi secretly replacing the "Preface to the Lanting Poems" that was originally buried with her father, Wu Ze was also worried that her son would embezzle her burial objects after her death, so she placed the burial objects in this mausoleum in advance, including the original "Preface to the Lanting Poems".
However, Wu Meiniang probably didn't expect that although her son didn't know about all she had prepared, her son was even more ruthless. He directly buried her and Li Zhi together in Qianling Mausoleum. Naturally, the mausoleum that Wu Zetian had carefully built for herself was no longer useful. In the end, all the burial objects that Wu Zetian had arranged in advance were given to Yang Jing.
After figuring it all out, Yang Jing couldn't help but feel a little amused. He hadn't expected that after more than a thousand years, the great emperor Wu Ze would have a destiny with him...
But this is a good thing after all. First, there is the imperial seal, then the precious inscriptions, then the inestimable value of the famous Buddhist scriptures, and then the original copy of Wang Xizhi's "Lanting Preface". If Wu Zetian hadn't done this, who knows which tomb robber would have gotten these things.
Yang Jing happily put away the "Preface to the Lanting Poems" and began to shift his attention to the next goal.
Yang Jing had no choice but to divert his attention. The closer he got to the center of the tomb, the more golden nanmu brocade boxes he saw. There was no doubt that these brocade boxes were filled with precious burial objects.
Sure enough, when Yang Jing opened one of the long brocade boxes, there was a scroll painting inside. Then Yang Jing decisively threw both the box and the painting into the space, just like he had done with the "Preface to the Lanting Poems Compositions" just now.
After opening the scroll in the space, Yang Jing discovered that the scroll was actually a painting by Yan Liben, a famous painter in the early Tang Dynasty.
This painting seems to depict the prosperous scene of a store opening in a certain district in Chang'an, which is quite rare.
Yan Liben was good at painting figures, and both The Procession of Emperors and His Majesty the Great in Buddhism and The Scroll of Emperors of Successive Dynasties truly reflected Yan Liben's painting characteristics. Even Yang Jing thought that Yan Liben usually only painted portraits, but he never expected to see a painting similar to Along the River During the Qingming Festival here.
Of course, this painting is not as large as "Along the River During the Qingming Festival", which almost depicts half of Bianjing. The scale of this painting is not large either, but it is a scene from a certain street that was enlarged and then painted.
If Zhang Zedu's "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" is large and comprehensive, then this painting is exquisite.
Like many paintings by Tang Dynasty painters, the painting is on the left and the words are on the right. There is also a paragraph of words at the end of the scroll explaining how the painting came about.
After reading the words at the end, Yang Jing realized that this painting titled "Opening of a Rice Shop in East Market" was created by Yan Liben when he was passing by East Market with his friends after drinking. He accidentally saw a rice shop opening, which seemed very festive. So Yan Liben was inspired to paint and painted this picture on the spot.
But Yang Jing thought about it for a long time, but he could not remember any record of this painting in the relevant historical records. After the painting was completed, it was not circulated in the outside world. Perhaps it was collected by the owner of the rice shop at that time, or it was directly collected in the palace.
Yan Liben was a more famous painter than Wu Daozi in the early Tang Dynasty. Wu Daozi was born more than ten years after Yan Liben's death, so in the early Tang Dynasty, Yan Liben was the most famous painter.
There is no historical record of this painting, but this does not mean that it is not precious. After all, this painting is also the work of Yan Liben, and the style is completely different from his usual painting style, so this painting is even more precious.
Put it away!
After discovering this painting by Yan Liben, Yang Jing found two portraits of Yan Liben's brother Yan Lide among the burial objects, as well as paintings by famous painters such as Zheng Fashi in the early Sui Dynasty, Lu Tanwei in the Southern Dynasty, and Zhan Ziqian in the Sui Dynasty.
These paintings are either not recorded in history, or are works that have been recorded but the originals have long been lost and only copies remain. Now all these paintings have been found here.
Yang Jing had originally been thinking whether he could find one or two works of the painting saint Wu Daozi here, but after searching for a while he found nothing. When he thought about it carefully he felt a little amused.
When Wu Zetian died, Wu Daozi was only in his twenties and not yet famous. His paintings would naturally not be collected by Wu Zetian as burial objects...
Wu Zetian was indeed an empress, so the burial objects she carefully prepared for herself were naturally not bad. Of course, perhaps Wu Zetian respected Buddhism more, so these precious burial objects were placed together with other gold, silver and jewelry, instead of being placed in a separate tomb like the Buddhist scriptures and statues.
In addition to these paintings, Yang Jing also discovered more than ten calligraphy works, all of which were works by famous calligraphers from the Northern and Southern Dynasties, Sui and Tang Dynasties.
Whether it is the paintings or the calligraphy works, they are priceless national treasures in modern times, but now these national treasures are scattered on the floor of this tomb. It is obvious that Wu Zetian did not value these calligraphy and paintings as much as the Buddhist scriptures and statues.
No wonder, even Wang Xizhi's "Lanting Preface" is placed here, and the works of other calligraphy masters are naturally placed here together with "Lanting Preface".
Yang Jing sorted for a long time before he finally put all the burial objects that fell out of the six scattered wooden boxes into the storage space, even the six scattered boxes.
This is golden nanmu. Even if you take it out and make furniture or something, it will be a treasure.
As the number of burial objects on the ground decreased, more than a dozen larger objects gradually appeared.
When Yang Jing finished picking up all the funerary objects and the ten or so larger items revealed their true appearance, even though Yang Jing had seen so many national treasures and was almost numb, he was still shocked by these large funerary objects in front of him.
Twelve golden men, more than one meter high, are placed in the center of the tomb, and between these twelve golden men are eight large tripods of various shapes and styles.
When Yang Jing saw these things, he immediately took a breath of cold air...
