"The plane's elevator was broken, the plane was diving uncontrollably, flying backwards..." The key words in Austin's words fell into Yang Jing's ears, and immediately reminded him of a scene he had seen before.

This is not to say that Yang Jing had ever seen a large passenger plane dive towards the ground with his own eyes, but that he had seen a similar situation in a movie.

That's right, Yang Jing remembered it very clearly. It was a movie that Hollywood's black Oscar-winning actor Denzel Washington had filmed, called "Flight." This movie is based on a true story. In 2001, a Canadian pilot named Robert Pizzi ran out of fuel in the Airbus A330 he was flying. Later, the media's attention shifted to Pizzi himself, which made his life difficult.

Although this movie is adapted from a real event and mainly tells the story of how the captain who saved 105 people completed his self-redemption, Yang Jing still remembers the process in the movie when the captain, who had taken drugs and drunk alcohol, was able to calmly control the plane to successfully land after an unexpected emergency occurred on the plane, saving all 105 passengers and crew members on the plane.

When the pilot played by Denzel was flying the plane, the plane suddenly lost control and dived headfirst. No matter how hard the captain and the co-pilot tried, they could not change the plane's dive posture. At the critical moment, the captain had an idea and controlled the plane to turn in one direction and flip over, and finally successfully flipped the plane over before it hit the ground.

Because the plane flipped over, the plane that was supposed to dive downward immediately changed to a level flight state. Then the plane flew levelly for a distance, avoided a densely populated city, flipped over again, and finally made a successful emergency landing.

How similar is this situation to the scene in the movie?

If the plane could be turned over, it would be able to control its downward dive posture due to the reversal of the plane, and there is a great possibility that the plane would be able to make a successful emergency landing!
