Chapter 80 One Melon Isn't Enough

When Jinran got home, she ate a bite of chestnuts and then started processing them. She had to remove the thorns and dry them. She also planned to make some sugar-roasted chestnuts for her parents and brothers to try.

Jinran was working when Grandma Chen arrived.

She asked curiously, "Grandma, what brings you here at this hour?"

Grandma Shen didn't say anything, but her expression wasn't good. She just found a small stool, sat down, and helped Jinran with her work.

Jinran sensed something was wrong and cautiously asked, "Grandma, did you and Grandpa have a fight? I'll have to talk to him about it. A grandma as good as me is hard to find, how could I possibly upset you..."

Jinran made Grandma Chen laugh, "You're so naughty, just wait till your grandpa finds out, he'll teach you a lesson."
