Fang Zhi met a handsome young man with an outstanding appearance and a gentle, noble demeanor at her most desperate moment.
He was like a beam of light from heaven, reaching out to her and ge...
Yesterday, because she met her idol and even got his contact information, Fang Zhi was so excited that she woke up before dawn. When she woke up, Qi Shen was still asleep, and unable to fall back asleep, she secretly checked her phone.
She often uses her account to browse the dance community. When she refreshes the page, the latest push notifications appear, and she is very familiar with the first few videos—they are videos of her dancing.
Fang Zhi suppressed his physical and mental shock to keep quiet, afraid of disturbing the man beside him.
She knew in her heart that once it was exposed online, there was a high chance that it wouldn't be able to hide it from her brother.
From waking up to eating and on her way to school, she was absent-minded the whole time. Although she had made up her mind to fight against her brother, Qi Shen's long-standing authority was too great.
She secretly hoped that her brother would find out later.
Right now, all they can do is hope that Qi Shen won't look at social media, and it would be best to wait until the hype surrounding her performance dies down before giving her some time to prepare herself mentally.
When she arrived at school, she realized that things had developed in a way that was beyond her expectations, and she was filled with endless worry.
As soon as she appeared on campus, many eyes turned to her. Although Ocean University is a top-tier university, students from its art department don't make up a large percentage of its student body. But today, the number of people in the department was more than double what it usually is.
Some daring people followed her all the way, while others were eager to approach her and strike up a conversation.
"She's here!" the boy patted his companion on the shoulder. "Is it her?"
"It's her!" The slender, bookish-looking boy looked at the video, then at his phone, and after comparing the two, he said with certainty, "She was wearing makeup during the performance, but she's not wearing any now."
"Tsk, she looks so good even without makeup."
"Are you really going to pursue her?"
"Go for it! Why not? It's not easy to find a girl you're interested in; why let her go?"
"She's incredibly popular right now, with a whole bunch of suitors lining up with their 'love number' signs."
“My conditions are not bad among students. I have good height and looks, and my family is from Haicheng. Not to mention I have a 100-square-meter apartment in the city.”
Fang Zhi lowered her head, hurriedly walked around the crowd towards the classroom, but the sounds of discussion still inevitably reached her ears.
I thought fewer students would gather at the dance studio to watch.
To everyone's surprise, many students, both from this college and from other departments, lingered outside the classroom to watch the excitement.
The continuous drizzle couldn't dampen their enthusiasm and curiosity for Fang Zhi. During the warm-up before dance practice, Fang Zhi took a moment to look out the window.
The shadowy figures moved about, the weather was oppressive and gloomy, the sky was shrouded in dark clouds, a gray expanse, and the wind rustled the trees. As if something terrible was about to happen, a bad feeling quietly spread through her mind.
Fang Zhi's delicate and pretty eyebrows furrowed slightly. Suddenly, a sharp female voice came from beside her: "Seeing so many people admiring you now, aren't you very proud?"
The sound was very soft, but very close.
Fang Zhi suddenly snapped out of her daze, turning her head to meet Guo Shuyao's eyes. Confirming that the other woman was speaking to her, a hint of doubt appeared in her beautiful eyes, and she softly asked, "What do you mean?"
"It doesn't mean anything." Guo Shuyao turned to the mirror in front of her with a meaningful look in her eyes, and said in a low voice, "I just wanted to remind you not to be too smug. We'll see."
Fang Zhi pursed her lips.
She knew that Guo Shuyao had harbored hostility towards her since the beginning of the school year, and given the arts performance, it was normal for her to have grievances...
The dance teacher glanced at the time. "Alright, warm-up complete. Let's begin the lesson now."
Fang Zhi shook her head slightly, focusing her attention back on the dance teacher. She assumed that Guo Shuyao was just feeling resentful, so she didn't take her words to heart anymore.

At University A, more than a thousand kilometers away, in the male dormitory of the School of Finance, there are no classes in the morning, but the people in the dormitory are used to getting up early.
In the four-person dormitory, three desks were occupied, each occupied with their own tasks, except for one empty seat.
A slightly chubby boy wearing Pikachu pajamas held a tablet and clicked his tongue, "Goddess... Goddess... I'm so smitten, I'm about to faint."
"Little Fatty's infatuated with a girl first thing in the morning?" Qu Guwen, who was working on his homework, was annoyed by his noise and looked up from his laptop. "Did you finish the assignment the teacher gave us?"
"What do you mean by being a lovesick fool!" The chubby boy's face stiffened, and he roared, "Work-life balance! Don't you understand work-life balance?!"
“Sorry,” Qu Guwen sneered, “all I saw was you sitting there drooling over your tablet as soon as you opened your eyes.”
The chubby boy's face contorted with anger as he looked defiantly at the other person, "Old K, you be the judge."
The latter sighed, having grown accustomed to the two bickering, and asked, "What are you looking at so intently?"
Little Fatty: "The performance by the dance students from Ocean University was so amazing it moved even the gods and ghosts to tears."
"Don't show off your Chinese language skills," Qu Guwen clicked his tongue. "Are you praising someone or insulting them?"
Just as the two were about to start arguing again, Old K interrupted them, successfully cutting off their spell (noise attack), saying, "Aren't the art students in our school good enough for you?"
Little Fatty's attention returned. "There's no comparison, absolutely no comparison. After watching the fairy dance, I regretted applying to A University. I wish I could retake the college entrance exam and go to Ocean University."
His words successfully piqued the interest of the other two.
"Is it as exaggerated as you say?"
"You won't believe me, just look."
"Fine, I'll look."
Several people huddled around a tablet, their eyes glued to the video of a graceful young girl.
Even as the progress bar reached its end, Old K was still not satisfied, and even Qu Guwen, who had been the most sarcastic, showed a hint of amazement in his eyes.
