Little Baby: "Wuw...

Chapter 8 I finally found you

The burly man slowly raised his head and met Si Lijue's gaze.

When he saw the noble yet reserved aura emanating from the other person, a chill ran through him, and his body trembled involuntarily.

He stared at the other person with wide eyes and a wary look, his voice trembling slightly as he asked, "You...where did you come from to cause trouble? Don't meddle in our business, get out of here!"

Su Niannian had her back to Si Lijue and didn't know that the person who came was the object of her unrequited love for five years. She just felt that the voice was very familiar and sounded like the person she had slept with five years ago.

She remembered that Si Lili had said her brother had taken a plane abroad on a business trip yesterday and wouldn't be back for at least ten days or half a month, but she felt it couldn't possibly be him.

So she shook her head, clearing her mind of all distractions, and subconsciously turned to look, wanting to see who it was. It had the same voice as that man.

When her gaze fell upon that face she had been longing for, she froze, her mind going blank for a moment.

Si Lijue, holding Xibao, approached Su Niannian step by step, his gaze fixed on the woman, his eyes flashing with complex emotions.

He had searched for this woman for five years and harbored resentment for five years, but unexpectedly, she gave birth to a son for him and raised the child so well. He should be thanking her.

However, just thinking about how she took advantage of him while he was drunk five years ago and then just pulled up her pants and left afterwards makes him feel uneasy.

That feeling of humiliation surged up again, and he wished he could tear her to pieces.

Filled with hatred and gratitude towards this woman, he approached her, his face grim, his voice icy cold, and roared, "Woman, I've finally found you! Where do you think you're going to run now?"

The voice was like a thunderclap, striking Su Niannian like a dagger to the head and instantly waking her up.

Looking at the man so close to her, she hurriedly waved her hands in denial: "It's not me, brother, you've mistaken me for someone else." After saying that, she looked around guiltily, wanting to seek help from Si Lili.

Si Lili had just stood up when she saw the burly man attacking Su Niannian, intending to help Su Niannian teach this blind date a lesson.

However, she spotted Si Lijue carrying Xibao towards them. Before she could warn her best friend, she instinctively crouched down and crawled under one table to another, away from the danger zone.

She dared not make a sound, not even breathe, trying to minimize her presence, for fear that her brother would discover her.

She knew her brother's methods all too well. If he knew that she had helped Niannian escape abroad five years ago and had secretly sponsored Niannian to raise her nephew, he would definitely betray her and skin her alive before feeding her to the dogs.

She was afraid of the pain and didn't want to die, so she kept praying in her heart, "You can't see me! You can't see me! You can't see me..."

"Mom!" Xi Bao jumped happily down from Si Li Jue's arms and rushed into Su Niannian's arms, excitedly saying, "Dad promised me that he would love Xi Bao and Mom well from now on. Mom, please forgive Dad. Let's live happily together as a family of three."

dad?

When did Xi Bao and Si Li Jue become so close?

When did they recognize each other?

Su Niannian felt that her brain wasn't enough to keep up, and she was extremely flustered, fearing that Si Lijue would vent his anger on Xibao.

She quickly pulled Xibao into her arms, looked at Si Lijue warily, and said to Xibao in a trembling voice, "Xibao, don't call him that. He's not your father, and you're not his son."

Xi Bao pouted and emphasized, "He is my dad."

Si Lijue stared coldly at Su Niannian and questioned, "He's not my child, so why does he look so much like me? Give me a proper explanation."

“Looking alike doesn’t prove anything. We all grew up drinking Yellow River water, so maybe it’s because we share the same roots. Anyway, he… he’s not your son.”

Su Niannian made up an excuse, but it was so lame that even she didn't believe it.

Finally, they simply insisted that Xi Bao was not Si Li Jue's child.

Si Lijue's hawk-like eyes narrowed, a hint of threat in them, as he pressed, "Do you believe these words? If Xibao isn't my son, then who is his father? Surely there wouldn't be another child out of nowhere?"

Su Niannian felt her scalp tingling from the interrogation, but she stubbornly replied, "He is my son, he is mine alone."

Si Lijue sneered: "Ha! You're quite something, being able to give birth to a child on your own, do you really think you're the Queen of a Women's Kingdom?"

Seeing Su Niannian's pale face, he felt a sudden softening in his heart. He didn't want to make things difficult for her anymore, nor did he press her further. He decided to let Su Niannian go for the time being.

Even if Su Niannian stubbornly denies it, he knows that Xibao is his son.

Anyone who isn't blind can see that Xi Bao is his child.

The burly man lacked discernment and overheard Su Niannian repeatedly denying that the child was Si Lijue's son.

Si Lijue kept pressing her for an answer, insisting that she admit he was his son, which seemed ridiculous to me.

I couldn't help but joke: "These days, there are still people eager to be someone else's father, but what's ridiculous is that the other person doesn't appreciate it."

That's incredibly shameless; calling him a troublemaker is an insult to the term.

Si Lijue was not someone to be trifled with. He was always fawned over and pampered by others. Who would dare to be so presumptuous in front of him?

Especially when he heard this burly man dare to call his precious son a burden, and even verbally abuse his son's mother and mock him, his anger flared up instantly.
