Song Yan never thought she would experience a day of transmigrating into a book. Well, if she transmigrated, she transmigrated! The 1970s weren't that scary.
However, she didn't expec...
The two most important people in Yin Chunmei's eyes are her son and Wen Dajun.
I never expected him to have such an illness.
Brother Dajun is so depressed right now, saying that life is meaningless. How can this be allowed?
Wen Dajun did nothing more than hold her, and Yin Chunmei relaxed.
She was heartbroken. How could such a good brother like Dajun get such a disease? "Brother Dajun, Doctor Song's medical skills are excellent. He can cure any disease... This disease is inconvenient for her, but she has her master."
Don't be discouraged! You need to eat every day!
Wen Dajun became distracted as soon as he held the person in his arms.
Yin Chunmei is timid, fearful, and wary of people.
The only person she wasn't wary of at all was Wen Dajun.
Yin Chunmei didn't hear Wen Dajun speak and assumed he was upset.
"I'll start working in a few days; the food factory pays well. I'll save up money to help you with your medical treatment..."
Wen Dajun isn't stupid; he's already in her arms...
Wen Dajun simply pulled the light cord, plunging the room into complete darkness.
"Brother Dajun! You...you...let me go!" Yin Chunmei's voice trembled.
"Xiuer!"
You know I can't do it!
Let me hug you and kiss you!
I still consider myself a man…
It turns out that believing a man's words is less reliable than believing in ghosts.
Wen Dajun held Yin Chunmei tightly, unwilling to let go.
Their first time together, Wen Dajun was incredibly nervous. His only memory of it was nervousness.
Only today did I truly understand what it means to be a man.
He will never let go in this lifetime, as long as he lives.
Wen Dajun suddenly felt something wet. He touched it and saw that Yin Chunmei's face was covered in tears.
Wen Dajun turned on the light.
Yin Chunmei wiped her face with her clothes and slowly put them on.
"Brother Dajun, I'm leaving!"
"Xiuer, can we get married?" Wen Dajun asked.
Yin Chunmei did not answer; that was the answer.
"Xiuer, hooliganism is a crime that deserves to be punished by shooting."
But I can't turn myself in. You've never done anything wrong, but what those people said was too awful.
"On the anniversary of my death, could you bring Yin Chao to visit me?" Wen Dajun asked.
“You’re alive and well, don’t talk nonsense. You didn’t…you didn’t…” Yin Chunmei didn’t turn around.
"Xiuer, even if you don't agree to marry me, I'm still your man! I have been for a long time."
"Remember to take Yin Chao to my grave." Wen Dajun pulled out a box and handed it to Yin Chunmei. "This is all my savings, for my son!"
Yin Chunmei turned around and looked straight at Wen Dajun.
"Song Yan told me."
I used to find it strange that I hated him before he was born and didn't want him to be born. But the moment I saw him, I stopped hating him.
I thought I was doing this for you.
I want to give him something delicious to eat, and I miss him when I can't see him.
I can't find him, and it feels like my heart has been ripped out!
So he must be my son!
Yin Chunmei shook her head, unable to speak for a long time.
After a long while, Yin Chunmei suppressed the urge to cry. "Yin Chao doesn't look like you!"
“Because he looks like you!” Wen Dajun said confidently.
"It's all your guess, it's inaccurate!"
"I know you treat him well, like your own son. But if he were that beast's child, would he have the right to call you 'Dad'?" Yin Chunmei's voice was filled with barely suppressed hatred.
She gave birth to the child, and she couldn't help but cherish him. But he might be that beast's child.
Yin Chunmei herself was unaware that the child was also a hidden thorn in her heart.
She left without taking the box.
"If you don't want to take it, then don't! I'll ask Song Yan to give it to you later!" Wen Dajun placed the box on the table.
With Wen Dajun like this, how could Yin Chunmei possibly leave? When she turned around, she didn't notice that Wen Dajun was holding a chopstick in his hand.
That was many, many years ago.
Several little sparrows hopped around on the ground in winter.
Those were truly hard times; we were always hungry, let alone able to eat meat.
Yin Chunmei said that even a small sparrow is still meat, but it's a pity we can't catch it.
Wen Dajun told her to wait. He ran inside and grabbed a pair of chopsticks. He then scattered the chopsticks out.
All seven chopsticks were stuck in the ground, and six of them were stuck in the sparrow's body!
Brother Dajun said not to underestimate this chopstick; in his hands, it can pierce a person's throat.
The chopsticks were spinning rapidly in Brother Dajun's hand, making Yin Chunmei's heart leap into her throat.
Yin Chunmei ran back and snatched the chopsticks away.
"Why are you taking my chopsticks? Do you think you can take all the chopsticks in my house?" Wen Dajun's nonchalant attitude was even more frightening.
Yin Chunmei turned and ran into the cubicle, actually grabbing all of their chopsticks. There weren't actually that many pairs.
"The child is so grown up, how can you still be so foolish!"
"Alright, go back now! The children are waiting for you at home!" Wen Dajun pushed Yin Chunmei towards the door.
The door was closed, but there were no footsteps outside.
Wen Dajun held a screwdriver; he simply couldn't resist. He knew what he had done was despicable. But he longed so much for his family to live together. He silently counted down, one, two, three…
Yin Chunmei suddenly yanked the door open...
Yin Chunmei found Wen Dajun's screwdriver-wielding appearance frightening, so she snatched it away.
Yin Chunmei had no idea that if Wen Dajun didn't want to give it to her, she wouldn't get anything at all.
"What are you doing? What do you want to do?" Yin Chunmei was about to cry again, but she didn't.
