The Eastern William in the mirror had cut his hair short, and his handsome features had a touch of coldness that made it hard to look away.

Lin Qingtong looked at him and smiled with satisfaction.

Mom would probably like this.

William Dongfang was stunned for a moment, probably because he hadn't expected himself to turn out this way.

He reached out and touched his empty neck, then looked at Lin Qingtong and the others somewhat awkwardly.

Do you really think this is okay?

Lin Qingtong nodded and replied, "Of course you can, you're perfect like this."

Only then did William regain some confidence, and he stood up and walked outside.

"Do we need to buy more clothes? Let's go together."

Lin Qingtong took a few steps out, but seeing that Shen Tinghe hadn't followed, she turned around and pulled him along.

"Come on, let's go together. What are you doing here?"

Lin Qingtong had been focusing her attention on Dongfang William, which had made him a little angry, but he was quickly appeased.

"That's good. Go back and throw away all your pink, red, and purple suits and floral clothes right away."

So the group arrived outside the Wutong Manor, and Lin Qingtong went in first.

Shen Tinghe and Dongfang William waited outside. The night was quiet, and the two fell into silence, unable to exchange words.

Just then, Shen Tinghe spoke first.

"If you really want to live a good life with Auntie and Qingtong, you should change your old habits."

"We also need to clarify what those previous rumors were all about."

Upon hearing this, William Dongfang looked at Shen Tinghe and asked, "What do you mean by that?"

Shen Tinghe smiled faintly, looking at Dongfang William in front of him.

"Actually, I know that the flowers in your garden are not grown by humans at all; it's just a rumor."

"When Qingtong was locked up in your house, she had already gone to the garden and noticed something was wrong."

"She told me about this when she came back. She said you might be different from what many people say about you."

After a long silence, William Dongfang finally uttered a sentence, "So, what kind of person do you think I should be?"

Shen Tinghe stood with his hands behind his back, gazing at the brightly lit manor buildings in the distance.

"What kind of person you are depends on yourself. If you want to live a good life, you will naturally have the opportunity to correct yourself. It's not too late."

"But if you never realize your mistakes, you'll never be able to correct them."

Upon hearing this, William of the East frowned slightly.

Why do you think I will definitely do what you say?

Shen Tinghe smiled and replied, "It's not that you will definitely do as I say."

"But you will definitely change for your family, because this is the best choice for me."

After a long silence, William of the East finally spoke.

"Then tell me what I should do? Is it really possible to explain everything that happened back then?"

"You know exactly what happened back then."

Shen Tinghe smiled faintly, "I don't know, but I do know one thing."

"If you open your heart and tell them everything, they will definitely understand you."

"Because they love you at heart, they will definitely forgive what you have done."

William seemed about to say something, but just then, the sound of Lin Qingtong and Su Wanjun talking could be heard in the distance.

"What are you doing out so late at night? Is everyone out this late?"

Lin Qingtong smiled and said, "I saw that the scenery outside was beautiful, so I wanted to bring my mother to see it. Is that not allowed? You can come with me this once."

As their conversation drew closer, William from the East immediately hid behind a tree.

Not long after, two figures walked over from not far away.

Lin Qingtong glanced around and, seeing that Dongfang William hadn't actually appeared, breathed a sigh of relief.

Su Wanjun then saw Shen Tinghe and said with a smile, "Is Tinghe here too?"

Then he turned to look at Lin Qingtong and said, "Why did you call me here? I'm watching a TV series at home."

Shen Tinghe glanced at the magnificent lights in the distance and immediately offered an explanation.

“We just saw that the scenery here is very nice, so we thought we would bring Auntie here. We hope that Auntie can understand Qingtong’s good intentions.”

Since Shen Tinghe had said so, Su Wanjun did not refuse. She turned her back to the tree and looked towards the Wutong Manor.
