On their wedding day, her husband ran off to a foreign country to be with his secretary.
Cheat on me? Let's see who can cheat better! Lin Qingtong turned around and took a strikingly hand...
Luo Susu paused for a moment before replying, "No, I heard it from my previous manager."
Lin Qingtong stepped forward, her aura surging as she uttered a single sentence.
"Since you didn't hear me say those words yourself, why do you believe it? Even if you're really angry, why don't you ask me to verify it? Are you all so cowardly and timid?"
"Since you're so cowardly and timid, there's no need for you to stay in the company any longer. Just continue being parasites who eat, drink, and have fun, and be despised by everyone."
"You'd be happy living like this for the rest of your lives, right?"
Lin Qingtong's tone was full of disdain and contempt, and Luo Susu's face immediately turned red with anger.
“You did help us, but you have no right to talk to us like that. If you don’t want to do it, then don’t.”
They turned and walked quite a distance away, only to hear Lin Qingtong's faint words behind them.
"If you want change, come to me."
After Luo Susu and the others had completely left, Geng Xiangmei looked at Lin Qingtong and asked a question.
"Mr. Lin, should we hire new employees now?"
Lin Qingtong waved her hand and replied, "Not for now. Let's get the warehouse sorted out first. Your salary will be doubled, and I'll also call bodyguards to come and help."
She looked up in the direction the group had left, her gaze thoughtful.
"Don't worry, someone will come back. If they really don't come back, then I'll just say I misjudged them from the beginning."
Geng Xiangmei didn't quite understand the connection between Lin Qingtong and Luo Susu, but when she thought about those young men and women leaving the company, she actually felt a little reluctant.
Although these young men always have brightly colored hair and act arrogantly, they are sincere to others; they are just a bit willful.
After Lin Qingtong finished cleaning the warehouse, she told everyone to leave work early and then took the trash downstairs by herself, planning to find a cart to transport it away.
But when she went up and came down again, the trash was gone, and there were only a few messy footprints on the ground.
Lin Qingtong saw the colorful hair reflected in the glass in the corner next door, and a smile appeared on her lips.
It looks like someone took care of it for me.
She left the trash where it was and walked back upstairs.
Just as Lin Qingtong left, Luo Susu appeared with her entourage, looked at the pile of garbage, and snorted coldly.
"What are you trying to do all by yourself? There's so much trash, how long are you going to finish this mess, you're just a woman?"
"Let's all help deal with this so she can leave as soon as possible and stop getting in our way."
Several people quickly stepped forward to clean up the trash, and Luo Susu even found a broom to sweep the ground clean.
Lin Qingtong stood in the shadows, taking in the whole scene, a smile playing on her lips.
It seems these people aren't beyond redemption.
After cleaning up the trash, Lin Qingtong took a taxi home.
Tomorrow is the official date to go to the Civil Affairs Bureau to get the marriage certificate. Lin Qingtong went to bed early and waited at the entrance of the Civil Affairs Bureau for the whole morning the next day, but Jiang Hao did not show up.
Lin Qingtong's expression was icy as she dialed Jiang Hao's number.
Where are you?
Jiang Hao's slightly roguish voice rang out, "I'm out of town and can't make it back today. Let's get the divorce certificate another day."
"Okay, I have something to do, so I'll go ahead and take care of it."
He hung up the phone immediately, leaving Lin Qingtong with only the dial tone.
Jiang Hao put down his phone, stood outside the hotel's floor-to-ceiling window, and looked at the street scene not far away, a cold smile on his lips.
Lin Qingtong doesn't think that signing the divorce agreement will guarantee a successful divorce; she's being too naive.
If he doesn't cooperate, it will take him at least one or two years to get the divorce certificate.
He was actually at a hotel near the Civil Affairs Bureau, and he could clearly see Lin Qingtong walking out of there, but he just wouldn't go down to cooperate.
After watching Lin Qingtong leave the Civil Affairs Bureau, Jiang Hao then proudly put on a mask and hat and went out the door.
He wanted to get something to eat.
As Jiang Hao walked through an empty alley, humming a song, someone suddenly called his name from behind.
"Jiang Hao."
Jiang Hao turned around, only to be greeted by a sack, followed by a barrage of abuse.
He screamed and tried to resist, but the other side clearly outnumbered him and he had no way to fight back. In the end, he could only curl up into a ball.
Jiang Hao thought that the other party would let him go after they had beaten him enough, but he did not expect that they would take him to a certain place.
Jiang Hao ripped the sack off his head and saw Lin Qingtong getting out of a car not far away, her whole body radiating coldness, her tone icy to the extreme.
"Didn't you say you were out of town? Why are you messaging me to come back?"
Jiang Hao wanted to explain, but a sharp pain shot through his face, making him wince in pain. He was too embarrassed to admit that he had been beaten up and dumped here.
So he could only scoff and reply, "Do you want to get a divorce certificate? If not, I'm leaving."
Lin Qingtong glanced at him, her eyes indifferent and distant.
Let's go.
After waiting in line for another half hour, Lin Qingtong and her partner finally sat down. The other party smiled and replied, "I'm sorry, you can't get the divorce certificate today. You can register first."
Lin Qingtong frowned slightly and asked, "Why?"
The other person didn't explain, but simply took out a piece of paper that listed the latest divorce regulations, and then shouted to the others behind him.
"Next."
Lin Qingtong took a look at the paper and saw that it clearly stated that a one-month cooling-off period was required for divorce.
Her brows furrowed even deeper, while Jiang Hao beside her spoke with a smug tone.
"I knew I wouldn't get it even if I came today."
Lin Qingtong didn't want to pay any attention to him at all, and simply walked away with the paper in her hand.
