I've forgotten the backstory of Yin Xincheng and Zhan Yun. I only remember that they had some feelings for each other, but I don't remember that they officially got together.

When I was reminded of this, the arrangements for Yin Xincheng and his new girlfriend had actually already been planned in the later plot. So, after thinking about it, I decided to add a patch where Yin Xincheng and Zhan Yun broke up, so that it would fit smoothly with the later plot.

However, this has indeed affected everyone's reading experience, and this is definitely a problem I caused. I have nothing to say but to sincerely apologize.

The character Huang Yunlan is part of the main storyline, especially the relationship between Yin Xincheng and Zhan Yun (in my plan, they were supposed to be together, but I forgot I had already put them together, and that's where the problem lies). She's not a character created arbitrarily. Therefore, after much hesitation, I didn't choose the simplest change, directly altering Yin Xincheng's marriage partner to Zhan Yun. This would have led to Huang Yunlan's later appearance, making Yin Xincheng appear to be cheating.

In conclusion, it was indeed my problem.

As for the questions raised by everyone, I really can't respond properly right now. The reason why I didn't take the methods that everyone suggested is because it involves the later plot arrangements.

The second point I want to make is about the ending.

This is another mistake I made.

I shouldn't have announced the novel's impending end in advance, which led everyone to read each new chapter with the mindset that "the novel is about to end," resulting in feelings of "it gets worse and worse as it goes on" and "disappointment with expectations."

In fact, looking back at this content, some people may think it was poorly written, but I think it should still be clear that it was indeed concluding the main storyline.

The main storyline on the surface is naturally the relationship between Chen Pinhe and Zhang Yuezhen. The reason why it wasn't ended with a major conflict and battle is because this conflict had been brewing for so long in the early stages. If I were to abruptly end it with a fight, it wouldn't be right for me. Therefore, I felt it was more natural to have these encounters, which progressed from indirect to direct and from small to large.

The core storyline revolves around the growth of Lu Yanhe and the main characters. The core and main plot of this story is definitely not revenge, but rather growth. Different people, different backgrounds, different paths of development. Each person has their own arc.

During the writing process, the only storyline I wanted to add was the storyline of industry changes. The idea of ​​using a specific example to represent a broader picture, to build an ideal world in the novel, may be naive, but it represents a pursuit of idealism.

The three lines converge and intertwine as they move forward.
