The timid Ming Luo unexpectedly arrives at the Suoma Continent, where demons and monsters run rampant. As the only human, she embarks on an unconventional path of cultivation to preserve her life.<...
"I've advanced. I'll be able to speak from now on." The little tiger wagged his furry tail slightly and hurriedly urged, "Follow me now. Don't turn back, and don't be attracted by other things. Everything you see here is fake."
Ming Luo rubbed her temples, vaguely remembering that there was a handsome young man with starry eyes who had taken her to visit the seriously injured Ye Zhihan, so Ye Zhihan should indeed have been rescued.
After recalling these things, Mingluo finally considered his own situation.
The surrounding area was not the small woods on the border of the demon clan. This place was gloomy and terrifying, with gray everywhere. Only the bloody bloodstains on the ground were particularly eye-catching. Mingluo looked down at her body and found that she was not hurt at all, and there was no color at all. She was like a gray shadow floating in a strange place.
"Little tiger, it's so cold." Mingluo hugged his shoulders and followed it tremblingly.
The little tiger tilted his head, stopped, and revealed his majestic golden lion prototype. He lay on the ground as much as he could and said, "Can you climb onto my back? I'm really worried about you in this state. I'd better carry you out."
Mingluo touched the little tiger's smooth fur and climbed onto its back with great effort.
The little tiger's back was broad and warm, and Mingluo fell asleep again after lying on it for a while.
…
When he opened his eyes again, Mingluo saw the familiar red and gold bed curtains. He turned his head and saw Lingkongjing sleeping soundly on the bed. His long eyelashes trembled slightly, forming a beautiful shadow on his fair little face.
Mingluo felt the cold air entering her body and her whole body ached. She raised her hand and saw a small piece of black cloth stained with blood.
It turns out that everything was not a dream.
When Mingluo thought of Ye Zhihan's appearance in the nightmare, she felt heartbroken. If Ye Zhihan was gone, what was the point of her coming to this world?
She carefully supported her body and wanted to visit Ye Zhihan. Regardless of whether Ye Zhihan was unconscious or not, she would only feel at ease if she stayed by Ye Zhihan's side.
Mingluo didn't dare to disturb Lingkongjing who was sleeping, but her body was in so much pain that after forcing herself to get up, she broke out in a sweat and accidentally made a noise.
Perhaps because she made too much noise, Lingkongjing finally woke up.
Lingkongjing's beautiful eyes opened slightly, and there seemed to be faint ripples flowing in his narrow eyes. When he saw Mingluo wake up, he smiled broadly. Mingluo had never seen such a beautiful smile, and was a little dazed for a moment.
"The doctor said that you'd better lie down and rest now. It's not too late to move after you feel better." Ling Kongjing pursed his red lips and smiled.
As he said this, Lingkongjing was about to help Mingluo lie down. However, as soon as his hand touched Mingluo's body, his face turned cold. He hurriedly opened the door and asked the maid to find the old doctor.
The old doctor examined Mingluo's body carefully.
"Miss Mingluo, have you been lying here all this time without running around?" The old doctor's brows were deeply furrowed into the shape of a "川" character.
Ming Luo nodded silently. In her current state, she had nowhere to go, not even to the next room.
The old doctor shook his head, sighed, and continued, "Miss Mingluo already has typhoid fever, and now a large amount of cold air of unknown origin has appeared in her body. If the cold air is not forced out in time, I'm afraid she will be plagued by cold diseases for the rest of her life."
"Cold?" Mingluo asked weakly. Could it be because she had entered a terrible nightmare? The cold in the nightmare was so intense that it penetrated deep into her bones and made her shiver uncontrollably.
"Well, if nothing unexpected happens, it should be a cold poison. I'll prescribe some medicine to warm your body first." The old doctor sighed silently. He looked at the injuries on Mingluo's body and muttered silently: "What a sin..."
"Old doctor, please wait a moment!" Seeing that the old doctor was about to leave, Ming Luo quickly stood up and pulled him.
"Lie down quickly. You're covered with wounds, why are you moving around?" The old doctor turned around and scolded, but he covered Mingluo with the quilt again with his hands, his eyes full of concern for the patient.
"Old doctor, I want to ask you, how can we wake Ye Zhihan up." Ming Luo raised his face, his lips were pale, but his bright eyes were extremely firm.
"He is seriously injured. He will need at least a month, or more... It depends on his own luck. We have done everything we can." The old doctor sighed again.
Ming Luo lowered her head, pursed her lips, her hair brushing across her face. She clutched the corner of Ye Zhihan's clothes tightly in her hand, trying hard not to cry.
The old doctor left, but Lingkongjing still sat by the bed and watched over her.
He raised his hand to tuck Mingluo's hair behind her ear. He just happened to see the mist in her eyes and whispered, "He will wake up. You have to believe him."
Mingluo looked up, her nose red, and met his narrow peach blossom eyes, nodding silently.
She remembered Ye Zhihan's last words to her in the sea of fire, "I haven't married you yet, how could I bear to leave you alone", and felt a lot more at ease.
"Lingkongjing, thank you." Mingluo forced a smile.
"Just call me Ajing." Lingkongjing gave her a sweet smile, revealing a row of small white teeth.
"Okay, hold back your tears, your eyes are swollen from crying." Lingkongjing pinched Mingluo's face mischievously.
Ming Luo was not used to having close contact with other boys for a moment, so he could only smile awkwardly and rub his face with his hands.
"Lie down, I'll help you heal your wounds." Lingkongjing's voice was clear, full of the freshness unique to young people.
"Healing?" Ming Luo asked curiously.
"Leave the cold poison in your body to me, and you have to heal the rest of your injuries by yourself." Lingkongjing helped Mingluo cover the quilt, and smiled brightly, as if the sunshine was shining and making people feel relaxed and happy.
Ming Luo was infected by his smile and her mood improved. She said, "Thank you. If it weren't for you, I would have died in the wilderness long ago."
