Upon seeing Chang Yin's expression, Commander Kang knew something was wrong. He didn't even bother to finish his meal; he got up, put on his clothes, and headed outside.

"What's wrong?"

Chang Yin recounted what Tang Yue had heard on the radio. Commander Kang's expression grew increasingly grim; clearly, he too had noticed the oddity in the conversation.

"Go and decipher it."

Chang Yin and Commander Kang hurried to the office building, where Tang Yue was still waiting.

After placing Tang Yue in Commander Kang's office, Chang Yin and Commander Kang went to the conference room.

A moment later, Tang Yue heard several footsteps approaching from afar. The people in the conference room entered before they could even catch their breath.

Commander Kang didn't give them time. He put the long passage that Chang Yin had already written on the table and said, "It must be intelligence from which side. Decipher it quickly."

Li Qingsheng, who was closest to Commander Kang, immediately took the document and read it without pausing. "This should be the intelligence transmission method commonly used by the United States."

He started copying quickly as he spoke.

Everyone else took their own notebooks and copied down the information, and soon the meeting room became busy.

Seeing that everyone had already started working, Commander Kang returned to his office. He was still curious to see how well the little girl had fixed the radio.

Tang Yue was sitting on the chair, feeling bored, when Commander Kang pushed the door open and came in. Tang Yue didn't get up; she was a little sleepy.

"Little Yueyue, let me see your radio."

Tang Yue was already used to the excited expression on Commander Kang's face. She gestured with her eyes to the radio on Commander Kang's desk, and Commander Kang walked over in a few steps.

Holding the exquisite, small radio in his hand, Commander Kang quickly pressed the switch. Then he turned on the tuning.

It was already evening, and Commander Kang had no idea whose radio it was, but regardless of its owner, he knew it could only receive five stations. Normally, only two stations would be received at night.

But in just a short while, Commander Kang had already received six channels. As he turned the dial, Commander Kang reminded himself that he couldn't lose his composure in front of the little girl.

But his slightly trembling hands betrayed his feelings at that moment.

After examining it for a while, Commander Kang reluctantly placed the radio on the table. "Little Yueyue, what else can you fix?"

Tang Yue shook her head, "I don't know. I'll have to see the item to know if I can fix it."

Commander Kang...

You think you can fix things just by looking at them? "Has Xiaoyueyue ever watched a radio before?"

"I've heard of this thing, but I've never seen it before. This is the first time I've ever seen it."

Commander Kang sensed something was wrong. "Little Yueyue, when did you start learning how to fix these things?"

Tang Yue didn't hide anything; there was no need. If she lied, she would have to fill the void with countless lies in the future, and she didn't want to be that exhausted.

"I didn't know how to fix things before; I only knew if I saw them. It seems like I can do it as soon as I see them. But these past few days I've also read a few books that Uncle Chang gave me, and I've gained some understanding of these things."

Commander Kang was at a loss for words. She could fix it just by looking at it? Was Xiao Yueyue a genius? If not, how was he supposed to explain this situation?

Commander Kang pondered for a moment, "Little Yueyue, would you like to fix anything else?"

Tang Yue...

Am I a masochist? Do I really enjoy being exploited by you guys?

"Uncle Kang, I'm sleepy."

"Oh, okay, okay, I'll have Chang Yin take you back to rest."

Commander Kang led Tang Yue outside, asking, "Little Yueyue, have you thought about enlisting?"

Tang Yue looked at him. "Didn't Uncle Kang say he would wait for my dad to come back to discuss it?"

Commander Kang felt he couldn't wait even a day longer; such a young genius had to be recruited into their unit. It would be a waste if such talent didn't contribute to the country.

As I came out, I bumped into Chang Yin, who was holding a piece of paper. "You're out?"

Chang Yin nodded solemnly. Commander Kang looked at Tang Yue and said, "Uncle Kang, I can go back by myself. I know the way."

Chang Yin didn't say anything. Commander Kang beckoned the soldiers standing guard at the door over. "Report!"

"Okay, go and take Comrade Tang Yue back to the guesthouse to rest."

"Yes! Mission accomplished."

Tang Yue went back to sleep immediately. At 3:30 a.m., bugle calls sounded in the army.

Tang Yue was awakened by the sound of the bugle. She sat up and projected her consciousness outward. She saw a large group of people gathering, but she ignored it and went back to bed to continue sleeping.

Tang Yue stayed at the military base for another three days, during which she spent her time reading. She really liked the books Chang Yin had found for her; she felt they were much better than elementary school textbooks. However, there were still some words she didn't recognize.

Chang Yin was quite thoughtful and brought her a dictionary. She's been using the dictionary to look up unfamiliar words these past few days and feels like she doesn't have many left to learn.

Tang Yue memorized the parts of the text that she didn't quite understand. She figured she'd be able to learn them when she encountered them again.

A knock came at the door, and Tang Yue got up to open it. As soon as she opened the door, she exclaimed, "Daddy!" and happily rushed into Tang Shengkai's arms.

"Haha, daughter, did you miss your dad?"

"Yes, I've thought about it, I really want to."

Tang Shengkai carried his daughter into the house. "Dad just got back and heard you were at the guesthouse, so I rushed over. Daughter, why are you at the military base again?"

Tang Yue was a little embarrassed. "Dad, I haven't left."

"Huh? It's been so many days, why haven't they left yet?"

Tang Yue pulled Tang Shengkai to sit on a chair. "Uncle Kang said he would specially recruit me into the army and even gave me the rank of company commander."
