"Clothes!"

The soldiers answered in unison, their eyes now filled with respect and obedience, devoid of doubt and disdain. They had come to realize that their young company commander possessed strength and leadership beyond his years, and they now genuinely acknowledged his ability to lead them.

"Then show me your strength and let me see what you're capable of."

Everyone began their daily training. The new recruits in the fourth company worked very hard, all hoping to get the young company commander's attention and see their abilities.

Tang Yue didn't stand aside; instead, she joined the others in the training. She didn't know how the military usually trained, nor had she ever been exposed to it before; she would need to follow along for a few days to understand the process.

Chang Yin had been following the whole thing, and seeing the current situation, he turned and left with satisfaction.

Commander Kang and several other unit leaders stood by the second-floor window, watching the training ground. Today was Tang Yue's first appearance, and everyone was a little uneasy. They wondered if this young girl could hold her own.

Although she made many contributions to the army, her age was a factor. Being able to fix things didn't mean she was capable of leading a company effectively.

"I never expected this, I never expected that the little girl you picked, Commander, would be so good."

Commander Kang smiled with satisfaction, thinking to himself that the moment that would truly surprise them was yet to come.

Chang Yin went to Commander Kang's office and told him about Tang Yue's suggestion the previous night to sell the sleeping pills to the troops. Commander Kang thought about it and decided it was a feasible plan.

"You promised the little girl?"

"No. I can't make that decision myself. I said I'd apply to the military and then let her know the result."

After nodding, Commander Kang sighed, "We still haven't pried those spies' mouths open?"

At this point, Chang Yin was also quite troubled. These people were useless to keep around, wasting food, but it was a pity to throw them away. Even in communication with Japan, these spies would cause trouble.

Aside from this treasure hunt, they didn't get any useful information.

"Go and call the little girl over."

"If we're not in a rush, I think it would be more appropriate to wait until she finishes training."

Commander Kang glared at him, annoyed. "You really think of her as one of your soldiers? Don't forget her age; she's only four years old."

That's not how you train soldiers! Besides, her value isn't in training troops; don't put the cart before the horse.

“Commander, since she has been given a company, she has a responsibility to lead that company forward.”

You probably saw the competition just now; I think she's a qualified soldier.

"No way! If you train her too hard and she gets damaged, who will fix those things for us? Besides, that little girl is quite clever. What if she can fix something and draw up some new blueprints for us someday? Wouldn't that be more useful than training those greenhorns on the training field?"

Chang Yin hesitated for a moment, "Commander, she needs a public identity. You know how serious the situation is outside right now."

If the little girl's abilities are discovered...

Chang Yin didn't say anything more, but both of them understood the meaning behind his words.

Commander Kang stood by the window with his hands behind his back, looking out at the training field. "We must protect these talents no matter what."

Tang Yue trained for an hour and it was lunchtime. Wiping the sweat from her forehead, Tang Yue turned to head home.

Before they even left the training ground, Chang Yin stopped them.

"Is there something you need, Battalion Commander?"

Chang Yin replied emotionlessly, "Let's go to the division commander's office."

"I'm hungry. I'll go home and eat first."

Chang Yin...

"Your food has been prepared. Let's go eat in the division commander's office."

Tang Yue blinked. Such a good thing? Before, she could eat free meals from the military because she had contributed to the army. Now that she was a full-fledged member of the army, she could still eat for free?

Tang Yue was happy that she could save food, and most importantly...

Do you have braised pork?

Chang Yin was speechless. He had heard that every time this little girl came to the army, she would specifically ask for braised pork for every meal, and she never got tired of it.

"Company Commander Tang, how was your morning?"

"I heard you wanted to sell that drug to the military?"

Tang Yue nodded, then shook her head. "It's not the current version, it's the enhanced version. The current version isn't very good."

Commander Kang couldn't help but twitch his lips. He remembered that these spies didn't wake up for seven or eight hours after being brought back. And before that, they didn't know how long Tang Yue had drugged them.

However, the enhanced version should be even better, which is a good thing. But it does take up a bit of time.

"Um, do you have the antidote?"

Tang Yue looked up at Commander Kang, puzzled. Commander Kang could tell from her expression that she hadn't made the antidote at all. His face darkened.
