"What?" Commander Huang felt like his ears were playing tricks on him. He had just heard that they were going to Nie Youyu's current house to pick up the goods in three days? Had he heard correctly?

Commander Huang turned to look at Chang Yin standing behind him. Chang Yin suppressed a laugh and nodded firmly at Commander Huang. Commander Huang had experienced what Commander Kang had gone through. This feeling, cough, damn it, was quite something.

Tang Yue looked up innocently at Commander Huang, who was checking with everyone around him. What she really wanted to say was, "Can you double-check with me?" Wasn't that what I said?

Commander Huang seemed to remember that as well. He lowered his head and stared intently at Tang Yue, "Company Commander Tang, we're not joking, are you serious?"

Tang Yue nodded. She had been wandering around the capital looking for a suitable place to store her treasures. She hadn't found one yet, mainly because she still needed to talk to a landlord. Rather than doing that, it would be much safer to just put them in the military compound. They recently cleaned up a group of spies, so it's even safer. The chances of the news leaking out are slim.

Commander Huang's restless heart slowly returned to its place. He straightened up and gave Tang Yue a standard military salute. "Company Commander Tang, on behalf of the organization, I thank you."

Tang Yue returned the greeting formally. After confirming some details, Tang Yue followed Chang Yin back to the guesthouse.

After resting for a night, Tang Yue knocked on Chang Yin's door early the next morning. Chang Yin had planned to go home today. He had thought he could have a good few days off, but he hadn't expected that the spies discovered by Tang Yue would almost turn the capital upside down.

These past few days, all the factions have been noticeably quieter. "Something wrong?"

Seeing that Chang Yin was about to leave, Tang Yue said, "Battalion Commander, do you have something to do and need to go out? You can tell me when you come back."

Chang Yin sat in the chair, pointed to the chair opposite him, and said, "You go first."

Chang Yin assumed it was about the treasure, and he instinctively felt that Tang Yue shouldn't need any help. However, he didn't know that the little girl had other things she needed his help with.

Tang Yue didn't know what to say. She actually wanted to run away secretly, but she felt that the consequences would be severe. She could only come and inform Chang Yin.

Tang Yue looked up at him. What did this have to do with her father? "It's my own business."

Chang Yin stared sharply at her, "Where are you going?" Chang Yin knew what the little girl was struggling with, but he didn't expect her to be so bold.

"You want to go to Japan?"

Tang Yue's eyes widened involuntarily. Was this kid a mind reader? How did he know everything? Chang Yin, seeing her reaction, confirmed her suspicions.

"No, I disagree."

"I've made up my mind."

Chang Yin stood up abruptly. "Tang Yue, without the army's permission, doing this is desertion. Do you know the consequences?"

Tang Yue frowned; she really hadn't heard about it. "Is it that serious? It's not like I'm not coming back."

Chang Yin's expression was grim; he stared intently at Tang Yue. "Why now?"

Tang Yue was somewhat discouraged; she didn't want to implicate her family. She directly recounted what she had overheard about the conversation between several spies a few days prior. Chang Yin frowned, "Why wasn't it reported?"

Tang Yue looked up at him, her tone unfriendly, "I think if we find those people, they won't be able to get ashore at all. There's no need to create anxiety for you."

Chang Yin felt that her years of honed emotional management seemed to have no effect at this moment. But the little person in front of her didn't seem to have any intention of admitting her mistake.

He sat back down in his chair. "This is too important; I need to report it."

Tang Yue had an "I knew it" look on her face. "Battalion Commander, I'm going to Japan no matter what. If Commander Kang doesn't agree, then I'll just retire."

That way, she wouldn't be considered a deserter, wouldn't be subject to military regulations, and wouldn't cause trouble for her family.

Chang Yin stared at her intently. "You can understand their language now."

Tang Yue proudly raised her chin, "Not only can I understand it, but I can also speak it."

Chang Yin left only the words, "Wait for my news!" before departing.

Uncle Xu Er has been showing Xu Zhiwei and Qian Xing around Beijing quite a bit these past few days. Tang Shengkai has been busy for over a week, and today he finally had some free time to come and see them.
