Ancient cultivator Tang Jin was caught in a battle between cultivators and exotic beasts over a spiritual treasure and was accidentally transmigrated to another world.
He found himself to be ...

Gu Yanxi took a few deep breaths, feeling his chest fill with oxygen, before looking directly into Tang Yue's eyes. "I think we should have a serious talk. Do you, a child, know how dangerous it is for you to come to Japan?"
Tang Yue felt that she was not familiar with Gu Yanxi. If it weren't for the fact that he might be a member of the Chinese military and was probably carrying out some secret mission here, she would not have shown up at all, and now he was chatting with her so much.
"I think we're just strangers who speak the same language. Since you don't want to leave Duanqi, then please take care."
After speaking, she lightly kicked out, and before Gu Yanxi could react, he was already thrown into the sea by Tang Yue. Tang Yue had been mindful of Gu Yanxi and hadn't gone far from the shore. Besides, there had been patrols on the shore earlier, so it was a favor she had done for him. It was also a way of repaying the favor from when she had mistakenly arrested the wrong person last time. Since he didn't want to leave, she didn't need to force him to stay.
Gu Yanxi quickly regained his footing in the sea. He frowned and said, "Little girl, it's dangerous for you to be at sea alone. Just because you have some skills doesn't mean you can go into the sea by yourself. Come back to Duanqi with me, and I'll take you back afterwards."
Tang Yue curled her lips into a smile. How could this person be so rigid? Appearances can be deceiving. But at least he had a kind heart.
"Don't go to the port on the other side of Zhongdao Island easily. That virus can be fatal." After saying that, Tang Yue used her spiritual power to control the small boat and it "whooshed" away into the distance.
Gu Yanxi stared at the speed of the small boat, then froze. His arm wouldn't move. Was this even human? Could a human do this?
Gu Yanxi lay back in the seawater, staring at the blue sky and white clouds, wondering if he had just fallen asleep and had a strange dream.
Looking into the distance again, the small boat was no longer visible. A strange light flashed in Gu Yanxi's eyes. However, he still swam towards the shore. Since the little girl didn't need his protection at all, he should hurry up and complete his mission.
Tang Yue's original plan was to go to Fugang, but since it was not far from there, she decided to postpone her trip to see the power of the germs.
Following the map obtained during interrogation on the ship, Tang Yue sailed directly to Deer Bay.
The two places weren't far apart; a normal cruise ship trip would likely take half a day. However, Tang Yue, using invisibility, arrived in less than two hours. If Tang Yue hadn't felt a bit strange flying, she would have simply used her sword to fly, which would have taken even longer.
When she saw the shore, she followed the map and walked a distance before finally reaching the land. Not long after she stepped out, she was drawn to a strange sound of music. It sounded quite lively, and her curiosity piqued, Tang Yue decided to go and investigate.
The music sounded very warm and cozy. In the distance, Tang Yue saw a Japanese woman wearing a gorgeous white kimono and a horned hat, with a man beside her wearing a black patterned haori hakama. The two of them were listening to someone chanting something.
Tang Yue listened to the content and found it somewhat complicated. After listening for a few more sentences, she realized that they were holding a wedding.
Tang Yue didn't understand the white color, but she declined to comment on local customs. However, the atmosphere was quite warm, so she found a seat and sat down.
As soon as she sat down, looking at her clothes, Tang Yue felt it would be better to change. After all, the customs of the two countries were too different. She didn't want to remain invisible; she needed to interact with people to obtain more information.
Looking around, Tang Yue saw quite a few houses. She chose a wooden cabin that seemed to have decent living conditions and went inside, quickly finding clothes that fit her. There was no bed in the house, something Tang Yue knew from reading about it in a book.
She changed her clothes in a corner, thinking that she should try to gather some materials to craft a magic robe herself when she had the chance. She put her clothes back into her spatial storage. Seeing that this was just an ordinary family's home, Tang Yue didn't currently have any of the local currency.
Thinking about this, Tang Yue felt a pang of regret. How could she have forgotten to take their money when she accepted those gifts? Huabi (Chinese currency) was definitely unacceptable. She rummaged through her spatial storage and found a considerable amount of food she had packed from the hotel.
Tang Yue simply used the plates from the hotel to serve the food, which was perfect for her. She placed two plates of delicate sushi and two plates of wagashi (Japanese sweets), which were some of the things she had enjoyed that morning.
These should be enough to buy her clothes, so she left. When she arrived at the wedding venue again, people were already eating. Tang Yue was drawn to the food on the table. She sat down at an empty seat and started eating with a spoon.
No one seemed to notice the extra person at the table. After all, it was a joyous wedding, so naturally some relatives and friends had come. The little child was probably a relative. Everyone ate their own food.
However, conversation was naturally an integral part of the banquet. Tang Yue overheard two men in their forties or fifties chatting.
"Life is getting better and better now. I heard there will be some subsidies coming out this year, so we're waiting for them."
"Oh? You haven't sent it out yet? We've already sent it out."
"You've already sent it? Wow, that's great!"
"Yes, that's right. And because we changed the rice varieties, this year's grain yield has increased significantly. We don't have to worry about not having enough to eat anymore."
"Oh, you're exaggerating. We can still eat our fill. But life is really getting better and better these days. Look, this black pork, that's some good stuff."
If it weren't for Nomura's son working at that farm, we definitely wouldn't have been able to get such delicious pork.
I heard this meat is quite famous; it can be delivered directly to the east side of the city.
"Oh, I'll have to try it!"
Tang Yue enjoyed her delicious black pork dish while listening to their conversation. She gleaned a lot of information from them. They had high-yield rice and tasty black pork. Hmm, she'd have to listen some more to see if there was anything else good.
