Ancient cultivator Tang Jin was caught in a battle between cultivators and exotic beasts over a spiritual treasure and was accidentally transmigrated to another world.
He found himself to be ...

Miyazaki Takuya was displeased by his father's words. His father had always been like this; it seemed that nothing he did would please him. "Father, that child really is Teppei's."
Rin Miyazaki narrowed her eyes at Takuya Miyazaki. "Are you so sure? Don't forget how the Taira clan was destroyed in the open. You trust others so easily, Takuya Miyazaki. You really disappoint me."
Miyazaki Takuto was furious. He wanted to refute his father's words. Why had he never done anything right? Why was everything he did wrong? How could his father prove that what he did was necessarily right?
“Father, how could I not recognize my own granddaughter? I tested her when I was at the hotel. She must be that good-for-nothing, Teppei’s child. This child has that Miyazaki family spirit in her. There’s no mistake.”
Miyazaki Rin didn't know whether he should be disappointed in his eldest son. He simply waved to a samurai behind him, "Give the order to find Teppei's whereabouts and investigate the boy's identity."
"Yes!" The samurai acknowledged and withdrew. Miyazaki Takuya was quite displeased. "Father, don't you trust me at all?"
Miyazaki Rin merely glanced at him coldly without saying a word. Miyazaki Takuya argued forcefully, "Father, look at that child. She'll be all ready soon. Once you see her, you won't doubt her identity anymore."
Rin Miyazaki said calmly, "Let's wait until we get the information before we see." She then closed her eyes. Takuya Miyazaki was furious, but he felt helpless facing his father and could only get up and leave.
Tang Yue soaked in the bath while keeping an eye on the commotion. These two were quite interesting. What did her identity matter? What did it matter to them? Tonight was a matter of life and death for them.
However, the tight security here made Tang Yue wary. Although she was different from these ordinary people, she wasn't arrogant. Just based on the germs on the ship, Tang Yue had never underestimated these ordinary people.
Their intellect is truly remarkable. And there are things she's never seen before, things that don't even exist in the cultivation world. Therefore, she will be extra cautious in tonight's operation.
Miyazaki Takuya had originally intended to visit Tang Yue, but considering his father's attitude, he felt there was no need to rush. His father wanted to investigate, so he'd just wait and see how his father would prove him wrong. Therefore, he completely ignored Tang Yue and went straight back to his own courtyard.
Tang Yue was left in a house near the old master's residence. Servants brought her meals, but she wasn't allowed to leave. Tang Yue didn't cause a scene; in one afternoon, she had thoroughly explored Miyazaki Rin's entire house.
Heh, they want to investigate her identity? Well, that depends on whether they're faster, or whether Tang Yue is faster. To be on the safe side, she chose to do it at night.
Night fell like a thick black silk, completely enveloping the Miyazaki family mansion. Moonlight filtered through the thin clouds, casting faint rays that veiled the flowers, plants, and trees in the courtyard with a mysterious air.
The mansion was completely silent, broken only by the occasional chirping of insects.
Tang Yue lay on the bed, her eyes closed, her breathing even, as if she had fallen into a deep sleep. However, her consciousness was capturing every movement around her. Only when she was certain that the guards outside had changed shifts and the footsteps had gradually faded away did she slowly open her eyes, a glint of light flashing in them.
This kind of defense was a challenge for her. Tonight, she didn't want to use her spiritual power; she just wanted to spar with these people as an ordinary person. The setup here reminded her of the people in the military.
How could she train them to be able to withdraw completely from any situation? She could do it herself, and she hoped her teammates could too. She didn't know when this thought had popped into her head, but once it started, she couldn't suppress it anymore.
Tang Yue decided to give it a good try tonight. She also had to thank the Miyazaki family for giving her this opportunity.
She tiptoed out of bed, each movement careful, as if afraid of making the slightest sound. She wore a black night outfit she had prepared beforehand, blending seamlessly into the darkness.
Reaching the window, she gently pushed it open, and a breeze swept in, bringing a touch of coolness. She peeked out, looked around to make sure everything was alright, and then flipped over and jumped out the window.
The moment she landed, she bent her knees to cushion the impact, her movements light and agile. Clutching the wall like a nimble cat, she moved silently towards the main house. In the moonlight, her shadow was sometimes elongated, sometimes disappeared into the dark corners.
Along the way, Tang Yue cleverly used her surroundings to evade the patrolling guards. When she heard footsteps approaching, she quickly hid in the nearby flower bushes, held her breath, and waited until the guards left.
Once, she deliberately relaxed her breathing, and a passing guard seemed to notice something, suddenly stopping and looking in the direction where she was hiding.
A flicker of admiration crossed Tang Yue's eyes. This Miyazaki family, or rather the Taira clan, was truly remarkable. The samurai they trained were indeed quite skilled. She immediately slowed her breathing, remaining perfectly still. She wanted to see if the guard could actually find her location.
Time seemed to stand still. After a long while, the guard shook his head and continued walking forward. Tang Yue shook her head. Since they had made a discovery, why didn't they boldly verify it? Hmm, I need to write this down and remind those boys more often in the future.
Finally, she arrived at the study in the main house. The study door was tightly closed, and a faint light shone through the window.
