Tang Yue had visited this main house during the day, but apparently, they weren't sure of her identity, as she was moved away after washing up. It seems this family is quite cautious. However, this only reinforced her belief that many secrets were hidden here.

She cautiously approached the window and peered through the crack. The study was filled with bookshelves, piled high with various books and documents. In the center of the room stood a large desk, on which lay some documents and a safe.

These were no different from what she had detected with her consciousness, and now she wanted to see what was inside.

Tang Yue looked around and, finding no guards nearby, decided to take the risk. She took a thin wire from her waist, inserted it into the lock, and gently turned it. A moment later, with a "click," the lock opened.

Tang Yue's big eyes lit up. She's really good. It seems that even big-headed needles and others have their days of being laid off. She herself is quite capable.

She slowly pushed open the door, and a musty smell wafted out. She went into the study and casually closed the door behind her.

She first went to the desk and quickly flipped through the documents on it. Most of these documents were accounts of family business transactions and records of daily affairs; nothing particularly noteworthy was found. Although these things were important to a family, she didn't care.

She walked around the safe, carefully examining its structure. It was an old-fashioned safe with a combination lock and a keyhole. Tang Yue secretly rejoiced; thankfully, she had learned some lock-picking techniques from books before, so dealing with this kind of safe shouldn't be a problem.

However, Tang Yue smiled; she had an even simpler way: simply pry the door open. Even without using spiritual power, Tang Yue's strength was unmatched, and she didn't want to waste time.

Tang Yue took a deep breath, gently gripped the door of the safe, pressed it inward slightly, and then pulled it open.
