Ancient cultivator Tang Jin was caught in a battle between cultivators and exotic beasts over a spiritual treasure and was accidentally transmigrated to another world.
He found himself to be ...

Looking up, the place resembled a huge warehouse, with a 1.5-meter-wide passageway in the middle and many doors on both sides. Tang Yue already knew which room the men in black were in.
She pushed open the door of the warehouse, and a strong smell of medicine hit her, mixed with the pungent smell of disinfectant. Tang Yue frowned slightly.
The warehouse was dimly lit, with a few old light bulbs on the walls flickering weakly, barely illuminating the gloomy space.
A group of men in black stood idly by, their eyes vacant and lifeless, seemingly tireless. Their gazes were hollow and lifeless, as if their souls had been ripped from them; their movements were mechanical, each action as if controlled by invisible threads.
Their faces were expressionless; their former fortitude and courage had vanished, replaced by a deep numbness and confusion.
Seeing these soldiers who once defended their country reduced to such a state, Tang Yue felt an overwhelming surge of anger and sorrow.
Tang Yue took a deep breath, suppressing her anger, and cautiously approached the controlled men in black. She didn't know what kind of drug they had been injected with. She felt a pang of regret; Yamamoto Seiji had been too arrogant, and she had overlooked the situation. She should have kept him around a little longer.
Just as she was about to touch one of the men in black, a soft, low shout came from behind her, "Don't move."
Tang Yue turned around and saw a man in black with his eyes open. He seemed unable to stand any longer, staggering back a few steps and leaning against the wall, panting heavily. Tang Yue saw beads of sweat gathering on his forehead and streaming down his face; it seemed he had exhausted all his strength to achieve this.
"Are you conscious?"
Tang Yue didn't approach him. The men in black were very wary of her, but Tang Yue didn't know why he wouldn't let her touch them. After catching his breath a few times, the man in black slowly raised his head.
The child in front of them was very young, appearing to be only four or five years old. The man in black had no idea when the child had arrived. However, the fact that the child could move around freely suggested that he was someone of considerable importance.
Who are you? Why are you here?
Both of them were speaking Japanese. Tang Yue lowered her eyes and thought for a moment, then looked up again and asked in Mandarin, "Are you Chinese?"
The man in black had perhaps not heard the word "China" for too long, or perhaps they were deliberately avoiding it. When he heard Tang Yue say it, he involuntarily narrowed his eyes slightly.
Tang Yue saw it clearly, and at that moment she was certain that the person in front of her was her compatriot from China. The man in black quickly composed himself; he merely sized up Tang Yue without saying a word.
Tang Yue sighed. After suffering so much, how could they not be wary of everything here?
Tang Yue reached into her pocket, and the man in black tensed up. Tang Yue took out a pill from her spatial storage; it was for restoring strength. She placed the pill in her palm. "First, I need to confirm if you're Chinese. If not, I won't give it to you."
The man in black leaned tightly against the wall. He had just managed to regain consciousness, which had exhausted all his strength. At this moment, he was certain that he couldn't even beat the little girl in front of him.
He laughed self-deprecatingly. What were these devils up to now? Sending a little kid to feed them medicine—they really didn't take them seriously at all. And rightly so, were they even human anymore?
In their daze, they've forgotten their faith. When will this kind of life end? Is it even worth living like this?
Tang Yue didn't realize there was anything wrong with what she said, but she caught the death wish in the man in black's eyes. She repeated her words in her mind, but still couldn't see anything amiss.
But the man in black had clearly misunderstood. Tang Yue's nose twitched slightly. "Are you misunderstanding something? I'm not Japanese, nor was I brought here by anyone here. I found my way here on my own."
The man in black lowered his head, seemingly unable to hear Tang Yue's words. His hands gripped the wall behind him tightly, as if this gave him strength. Tang Yue felt sorry for them, but aside from being her compatriots, they had no other connection to her.
Tang Yue didn't think she needed to coax him carefully. Since being gentle didn't work, she had to resort to a firmer approach. She felt that talking too much nonsense would just tire her out. Besides, she had no idea what the man in black was interested in, so she didn't need to waste her time on him.
There are quite a few people here, and it's uncertain how long the fire above will burn. It's also uncertain whether she can bring these people out without exposing the space.
Without hesitation, Tang Yue stepped forward and used her spiritual power to lift the man in black's head. The man in black became alert upon hearing Tang Yue's footsteps, but suddenly he felt he couldn't move.
This feeling is fucking awful! Then his head involuntarily lifted up, and he saw the little girl walk up to him expressionlessly. His mouth opened automatically, and the little girl threw the black pill in her hand directly into his mouth.
He desperately wanted to resist, but he couldn't move an inch and could only let the child do as he pleased. The man in black tightly closed his eyes. Destruction! If he could move again, he would take everyone here with him to die. He never wanted to suffer like this again.
"Open your eyes!"
The man in black seemed not to hear him. If it weren't for Tang Yue's spiritual power controlling him, he would have collapsed to the ground by now. Struggle? What's the use? What has his struggle gained all these years? Isn't it just the same endless abyss?
Tang Yue was quite helpless; she could sense the aura of despair emanating from the man in black. "You don't believe what I say, but you can at least feel how the medicine works, right?"
