Ancient cultivator Tang Jin was caught in a battle between cultivators and exotic beasts over a spiritual treasure and was accidentally transmigrated to another world.
He found himself to be ...

Before Mr. Qi could figure it out, Tang Yue had already boarded the train with Chang Yin and Sun Jinan for cold-weather training in Northeast China. The others had already been there for over a month, and the training there would end in another month or so.
Tang Yue and her group wouldn't be able to train for long if they went there now, but Commander Kang had his own considerations. The little girl had caused quite a stir; if she stayed on the South Island, she'd become the focus of attention from many sides. Bringing her out would be a way to mislead the enemy.
The train was as crowded as ever, but Chang Yin, being the battalion commander, could buy sleeper tickets. Normally, if it were just Sun Jinan and Chang Yin, they would never have bought sleeper tickets. But seeing the little girl, and knowing she could manage on her own, Chang Yin decided to buy them anyway.
Tang Yue was quite happy. She had never been on a sleeper train before and was eager to experience what it was like.
All three of them originally had large backpacks, but for safety and to make it easier to squeeze onto the train, Tang Yue simply put them all into her spatial storage. She only carried a small bag with her as a cover.
The train dragged its heavy body along the tracks, its wheels rubbing against the rails with a dull, rhythmic clanging sound.
The sleeper car where Tang Yue, Chang Yin, and Sun Jinan were located, though more spacious than the hard seats, was filled with the unique smell of a train—the smell of sweat, the musty smell of luggage, and a mixture of other odors. Tang Yue disliked these smells and simply closed her nose.
Just as everyone had settled their luggage, a mischievous child of about seven or eight years old burst into their cubicle like a wild horse.
The child was wearing a patched, faded gray-blue cloth shirt, his hair was disheveled like weeds, and snot was hanging precariously from the tip of his nose, but he was completely unaware of it.
As soon as he entered the cubicle, he jumped around, making strange noises, and slapped his hands wildly on the berth, instantly turning the once tidy bed into a mess.
Immediately afterward, a plump middle-aged woman strode in. She wore a faded floral cotton-padded jacket and looked completely unconcerned. Seeing the child's misbehavior, she not only didn't stop him, but also nonchalantly said to Tang Yue and the others:
"Oh dear, children are naturally active and playful, please bear with them."
After saying that, he plopped down on the berth next to him, took out a handful of sunflower seeds from his pocket, and started cracking them open as if no one else was around, leaving the shells scattered all over the floor.
Tang Yue crossed her arms and watched the farce with great interest, raising an eyebrow slightly and a hint of mockery in her eyes.
Seeing that no one was stopping him, the brat became even more smug and walked straight toward Tang Yue, reaching out to grab the small bag she had placed to the side.
Tang Yue's eyes sharpened instantly as she stared coldly at the brat. Her gaze was like a gleaming sword, and the brat was instantly frozen in place, his outstretched hand hanging in mid-air. His arrogance was replaced by fear, and he stood rooted to the spot, not daring to breathe.
After Tang Yue looked away, the little brat seemed to come back to life, and he burst into tears. "Waaah, Mommy, Mommy, this little brat bullied me, beat her to death!"
The middle-aged woman stopped eating her sunflower seeds and pulled the child over, saying, "Oh, my sweet Jinbao, don't cry. Who bullied you? Mommy will help you fight back."
Jinbao cried loudly while pointing at Tang Yue. The middle-aged woman pressed Jinbao down onto the lower bunk, then stood up and slapped Tang Yue across the face.
Tang Yue narrowed her eyes slightly. Chang Yin and Sun Jinan also disliked the mother and son, but as soldiers, they tolerated it as much as they could.
But they didn't expect that this woman would dare to slap Tang Yue. Chang Yin grabbed the middle-aged woman's arm and gave her a gentle push, almost pushing her out of the carriage.
The middle-aged woman was stunned for a moment, then realized that it was a man who had pushed her. She immediately slapped her thigh and exclaimed, "Oh dear, I can't live like this! A grown man dares to grab my arm in broad daylight! Oh dear, the world is going to the dogs! He's harassing an innocent woman!"
Chang Yin was dressed in a very neat military uniform. The middle-aged woman pointed at Chang Yin and said, "You're supposed to be a soldier, but you don't do anything for the people and you still dare to openly harass me. I'm going to report you and have the Red Army Society send you to the cowshed."
Tang Yue's gaze grew even colder. She didn't move, but the middle-aged woman suddenly couldn't speak. "If you can't speak, you might as well just pull out your tongue."
The middle-aged woman pointed at Tang Yue and was about to start cursing, but she was horrified to find that she couldn't speak. When Jinbao saw that his mother had been pushed by Chang Yin, he swung his fist and punched Chang Yin.
Tang Yue wouldn't give him a chance. With a light kick, Jinbao was sent flying into his mother's arms.
With a loud "Wah!", Jinbao burst into tears again. Tang Yue was extremely annoyed. "Shut up, or I'll pull out your tongues."
Jinbao's crying stopped abruptly when he met Tang Yue's cold gaze. The people in the other cubicles also heard the commotion and came over to see what was going on. When they saw that it was a conflict between two soldiers and a mother and child, they didn't know how to judge the matter.
Tang Yue looked coldly at the middle-aged woman, "Can't you speak properly? If not, then never speak again."
The middle-aged woman's eyes darted around, and she nodded hurriedly. Tang Yue knew she was up to no good, but she had plenty of ways to deal with her, so she wasn't afraid.
Tang Yue lifted the middle-aged woman's silence. As soon as she realized she could speak, she opened her mouth to howl. Tang Yue smiled and glanced at the middle-aged woman, and she couldn't make a sound again.
No matter how hard she tried, her eyes wide, she couldn't utter a single word. At this point, the middle-aged woman became frightened; she had met her match. The onlookers were also confused about what was happening.
