Chapter 395 Discovery of the Mysterious Area

Japan certainly wouldn't take the blame for this, but that didn't stop them from gloating. "Great, 'Shadowbringer' went to Russia? That's wonderful! They finally don't have to live in constant fear anymore."

God knows how they got through that time. The entire Japanese population, from top to bottom, was on edge, terrified of losing anything. The Japanese felt their eyesight had deteriorated considerably in that short month.

Tang Yue paid no attention to the diplomatic disputes between the countries; she was extremely agitated at the moment. She arrived at the Russian military region and used her consciousness to search the entire region thoroughly.

As it turned out, they were in a bit of a rush. Just as it got completely dark, military vehicles drove out of the base. Tang Yue raised an eyebrow. They were fast enough, but they couldn't leave anything behind.

She quickly stored all the items from various important locations into her spatial storage, including materials from the safes in the offices of the various military leaders.

She's become quite skilled at telekinesis, so these things have vanished without her even needing to unlock them. And that's not all; since she's here, her main focus is on cleanliness. After all, we're both a bit obsessive-compulsive, aren't we?

Tang Yue now regrets not visiting their military base when she was in Japan. Hmm, that's a trip she needs to make.

Then, General Igorevich felt uneasy all over. He felt like someone was watching him. But when he turned to look at the empty seat next to him, there was nothing there.

Now that feeling was back. Tang Yue stared intently at the general before her. She recognized his name: "General Igorevich." He was in charge of escorting these artifacts this time.

Tang Yue had just passed by a large farm, and she stopped by to collect all the wheat, oats, and other grains inside into her spatial storage, even including their farm tools and machinery. Afterward, she returned to her car.

The driver was a Russian soldier in his early twenties, with fair skin, and I must say, he was quite good-looking.

"Anatole, do you sense someone around me?"

Anatoly slowed down and looked back at General Igorevich. He replied seriously, "General, there are only the two of us in the car. There is no one else. What's wrong?"

Igorevich didn't believe Anatoly's words. "No, look again. My intuition is never wrong. I always feel like there's a pair of eyes watching me. But I can't see them."

After thinking for a moment, he added, "No, you can't say that. I feel like he's not always there. Sometimes he leaves, and I can sense it."

Anatoly found it extremely strange. "General, shouldn't you rest? It's already past midnight, and the march is going very smoothly. You can rest for a while."

General Igorevich felt that Anatoly did not trust him, but he could not see anything with his own eyes, and although he was certain, he had no evidence.

Tang Yue had managed to procure quite a few books from the army, and she was currently reading one, though the book itself was invisible. Tang Yue was learning Russian, which she felt was not as easy to learn as Japanese, and she felt it had absolutely no connection to Chinese.

However, she roughly understood what General Igorevich meant; he must have sensed her gaze. Tang Yue quite admired this general; he had good insight, it was just a pity he had run into her.

Just as Tang Yue was about to stop teasing the general and settle down to read, her consciousness sensed a very peculiar area. She didn't know what it was, but she had a feeling that she would regret it if she didn't go.

Since that was the case, she didn't hesitate. In a flash, she disappeared from the military vehicle and flew towards the area she sensed. The cold wind howled in her ears, and the surrounding scenery rushed past like phantoms. In just a few breaths, Tang Yue had already flown a long way.

Upon arriving at the area, Tang Yue concealed herself and carefully observed. It was surrounded by high walls, the tops of which were covered with high-voltage electric fences that flashed a cold blue light, seemingly warning anyone attempting to approach.

Inside the walls, several massive buildings were arranged in a staggered and orderly fashion, their exteriors austere and mysterious, devoid of any superfluous decoration. Around the buildings, heavily armed soldiers patrolled back and forth, their steps precise, their eyes alert, leaving no corner unchecked.

Tang Yue became even more curious, because she could sense that the soldiers on guard here were far more militarily skilled than those in the unit she had just left. What kind of place required such high defense?

Tang Yue flashed into the inner area. Like a nimble cat, she moved lightly between the buildings, making no attempt to avoid the soldiers' patrol routes. However, no one noticed her along the way.

As she approached one of the main buildings, she found the doors tightly shut, with an advanced access control system at the entrance, and flashing indicator lights that seemed to silently proclaim its high-end nature.

Not having time to investigate the system, Tang Yue went around to the side of the building and found a small ventilation window. She turned around and silently slipped inside through the window.

Upon entering the room, a strong smell of electronic components hits you. The room is brightly lit, as if it were daytime.

The spacious area was filled with various complex instruments and equipment, their indicator lights flashing incessantly and emitting a soft hum. People in white coats moved about among them, controlling many of the flashing indicator lights. Their expressions were serious and meticulous.

Tang Yue had never encountered these things before, and she was filled with curiosity as she moved among the crowd, surrounded by these novel devices. She noticed several things; among these people were not only Russians, but also some with East Asian features and bone structures that did not resemble Russians.
