Chapter 399 Reporter Clash

As Tang Yue pondered this, the car she was in had reached the edge of a city. Outside the window, the streetscape came into view. Tang Yue felt that this city was different from other places, and she sensed that this was Igorevich and the others' destination.

A violent scuffle involving several men a short distance ahead caught Tang Yue's attention, for a simple reason. Tang Yue spotted an Asian face among them, and a slight smile played on her lips. Wasn't this just a convenient opportunity?

"Sigh, they're almost there. If she's slow, she'll miss her chance." Tang Yue sighed. There was just no way around it.

Tang Yue was helpless because General Igorevich's convoy stalled again without warning. General Igorevich sat bolt upright, immediately on alert. He quickly turned his head to look around and shouted, "Anatoly, what's going on?!"

Anatoli looked equally bewildered. He hurriedly got out of the car and began checking its condition, muttering, "How could this happen again? This is unbelievable!"

Tang Yue didn't care how the soldiers lined up to surround all the military vehicles; she just wanted things to be chaotic for a while longer.

Tang Yue moved swiftly, already close to the arguing men. She didn't use her senses to probe them; now that she was closer, she could hear them more clearly. One of the men, a tall, burly Russian, was yelling at the Asian man:

"Hmph! I think you haven't figured out who you are yet? You're Chinese, haha, Chinese, do you understand?"

You should be the one reporting this horrific thing! We are protected by God; there's absolutely no way we'd lose our lives over something so absurd!

As he spoke, he reached out and shoved the Chinese man hard, causing the man to stumble and almost fall to the ground.

Another Russian man with a small mustache chimed in, "That's right, aren't you Chinese people supposed to be brave? And aren't your beliefs some kind of ghosts or gods?"

So you're familiar with these kinds of bizarre disappearances, right? Wouldn't it be perfect for you to report on them? Why are you refusing?

The East? You seem unaware of your own predicament. You earn our money, eat our food, drink our water, shouldn't you contribute more to us?

"Remember, this is your job, it's what you're supposed to do. We Russian journalists have no interest in getting involved in this kind of thing!" He wore a mocking smile, his tone full of contempt and disdain.

The Chinese reporter gritted his teeth, his eyes filled with anger, but he still suppressed his rage and said in fluent Russian: "This is our common work, why do you always push dangerous tasks onto me?"

We're all journalists, what right do you have to order me around like this? Great people say everyone is equal, what you're doing is completely unfair!" However, his resistance was seen as nothing more than a clown's act by those arrogant Russians.

"Fairness? Hahahaha!" The tall Russian reporter threw his head back and laughed loudly. "In our Russia, there is no fairness for you inferior Chinese!"

"You'd better behave, or you'll be sorry!" With that, he grabbed the Chinese reporter by the collar and lifted him up, his expression extremely fierce.

The Russian with the mustache looked at the Chinese reporter like trash. "Dongfang, remember, you have to visit those cities one by one, and when you come back, you must get the facts straight. Remember, this is our team's job."

After speaking, the Russian journalists laughed loudly at the Chinese journalists, then turned to leave.

Tang Yue watched this scene from the side, and her anger suddenly flared up.

Although she couldn't understand their language, she did catch a few words: China, the East. Clearly, the man with the Asian face being bullied was Chinese.

So this is how all Chinese people live in foreign lands? It's not fair to say Tang Yue is generalizing; what she's seen is indeed like this. Who can refute that?

Heh, very well, these Russians have really offended her. She had heard that when these Russians went to China, they were incredibly arrogant and domineering, and China treated them like honored guests.

But these Chinese people in Russia are treated worse than the cats and dogs in their arms. How can they tolerate this?

Tang Yue stared intently at the Russian journalists who were about to leave. Her fingertips trembled slightly, and instantly, an invisible force struck the backs of the Russian journalists' legs.

The Russian journalists, who were laughing wildly and feeling that they could enjoy several more months of paid vacation, suddenly felt a sharp pain in their groin, as if they had been hit hard by an iron rod. They all screamed in pain.

Their legs went out of control, their bodies lunged forward, and they crashed heavily to the ground, each of them falling face-first into the mud.

The men rolled on the ground in pain, the excruciating pain relentless, feeling as if they were being punched repeatedly, causing them to howl in agony.

The Chinese journalist witnessed all of this and was speechless with astonishment. He stared wide-eyed as he watched those usually arrogant and domineering Russian journalists lying on the ground, rolling around and shouting. He felt it was all too real.

He had rehearsed this scenario in his mind countless times, but he dared not, and could not, do it. Because he could not bear the consequences.

Meanwhile, the guys who usually bullied him the most were rolling on the ground in pain, and he found it incredibly satisfying. But he quickly became puzzled: what was going on with these guys?

Why do they look like they're in so much pain, and why are they screaming so pitifully? That can't be right; there's no one around them. The Chinese reporter's face turned cold. Were they faking it? Were they trying to frame him?
