Ancient cultivator Tang Jin was caught in a battle between cultivators and exotic beasts over a spiritual treasure and was accidentally transmigrated to another world.
He found himself to be ...
Tang Yue's small hand paused in the woman's pocket for a moment, then she held her breath, closed her eyes, and leaned back.
The woman behind Tang Yue caught her, and the two exchanged glances the whole time without saying a word.
Tang Yue used her consciousness to watch the two women's movements. The squatting woman A handed the child in her arms to woman C. Woman C pulled Tang Yue to take the child. Woman A quickly got up, pulled up her pants, and walked quickly to the toilet door to look outside. Seeing that no one was coming, she waved.
Woman C was holding a small child in her arms and carrying Tang Yue in her other hand. She handed Tang Yue over to Woman A at the door and then left the restroom first.
Woman A picked Tang Yue up horizontally, took off the scarf from her head and wrapped it tightly around Tang Yue's body, then carried her directly out of the toilet.
Tang Yue kept her eyes closed the entire time, her breathing very light. She had encountered human traffickers. She had tried to resist, but judging from the two men's practiced movements, she knew they were repeat offenders, and the child in their hands was probably also abducted.
Tang Yue wondered how many accomplices these two had. She wanted to go and see. She was just a child and had no power to resist. If they were all persecuted by these people, how many families would be broken?
Tang Yue has already experienced the warmth of family love; love needs to be passed on.
Although she didn't know why she came here, Tang Yue felt that she should be a good person. Consider it an act of good karma for her family.
After leaving the restroom, Tang Yue noticed that Lin Cuicui was looking at the entrance to the men's restroom. She probably wanted to wait for her father and brothers to come out before going into the restroom to find her.
Tang Yue really wanted to remind Lin Cuicui that she was fine, but it seemed inconvenient now.
Tang Yue gritted her teeth and decided to let her parents worry for a while. She would come back as soon as she finished dealing with the situation.
Two women carrying two children walked out of the train station with practiced ease, weaving through a series of alleyways.
Tang Yue's consciousness rose into the air. She realized that the two of them had taken many detours and gone around several times before finally stopping in front of a wooden door in the middle of a relatively narrow alley. The two looked around and, seeing that no one was there, gently knocked on the door.
After waiting a while, a man dressed in black came out of the inner room. He looked up warily, and seeing that no one was there, he walked to the door and knocked lightly a few times.
The woman outside responded with the same tapping motion.
The man inside asked, "Who is it?"
"Brother, we've been walking a lot and we're thirsty. Could we have a glass of water?"
The man replied, "Go out of this alley, turn south, and walk another half mile. There's a tea stall over there."
"Brother, that tea stall is closed today. We'll just have a couple of sips, no, four sips of water, okay?"
The man opened the door from the inside, his gaze quickly sweeping over the two women. He then widened the door, and Women A and C quickly entered. The man looked around warily before closing the door.
A gloomy smile played on his lips. "Why did you bring another one back?"
As he spoke, he lifted his scarf and glanced at Tang Yue. Although Tang Yue had been cultivating and recuperating a lot in the past few days, she still looked very thin and her complexion was sallow.
The man looked at her with some disdain, "Why are you so thin? You're not worth much money."
Woman A carried Tang Yue into a room, saying as they walked, "This girl looks very clever. If we find a man who can't have children, we should be able to sell her for a good price."
After placing Tang Yue on a pile of straw, Woman A shook her arms and said, "She looks quite thin, but she's actually quite heavy."
After saying this, the group left the room.
Tang Yue opened her eyes. She knew there were other people here, but when she opened them, she saw that the oldest was about ten years old, and the youngest was three or four. The five children were huddled together, trembling. Two of the children had whip marks on their bodies.
As they watched Tang Yue sit up, their expressions varied: some showed sympathy, some fear, some indifference, and some cold disregard.
Tang Yue didn't speak. Her consciousness enveloped the courtyard again. Tang Yue saw six men and women eating in the next room. The man in black who had just opened the door instructed, "We plan to leave today, so don't drink. It will ruin things."
They all listened obediently, and none of them drank alcohol.
The man in black asked the woman, "Did you get a ticket?"
The woman, A, shook her head. "It's almost Chinese New Year, and most trains only have standing tickets. We happened to have a few tickets while we were queuing, so we hid in the toilet."
The man looked somewhat displeased. "There are two more trains this afternoon, we have to leave today. I have a feeling someone has already caught up with us."
Tang Yue looked at the children in the room, then at herself. These people were different from spies; she couldn't treat them the same way she treated spies.
She constantly reminds herself that she is just an ordinary little girl.
By this time, her parents should have realized she was missing, right?
As Tang Yue was being carried out of the restroom by two women, several military trucks quietly pulled up in a grove of trees opposite the train station.
A young man with a resolute face in the car coldly ordered, "Those human traffickers should be around here. Everyone, search thoroughly and don't let any suspicious person slip by."
"yes!"
All the soldiers were well-trained, and the group, dressed in civilian clothes, got off the train and slowly blended into the crowd at the train station.
Lin Cuicui waited for Tang Shengkai to bring Tang Bei and the others back. "Third Brother, you watch the things. Yueyue went in a while ago, why hasn't she come out yet? I'll go in and check."
Tang Shengkai didn't care. They all knew Tang Yue's abilities and there shouldn't be any trouble.
Before he could finish his thought, Lin Cuicui's shrill screams came from the women's restroom, "Yueyue? Yueyue, where are you? Huh? Where are you?"
