Ancient cultivator Tang Jin was caught in a battle between cultivators and exotic beasts over a spiritual treasure and was accidentally transmigrated to another world.
He found himself to be ...

Tang Nan lay lazily on the ground, "Sigh, why is Commander Kang keeping such a close watch on us? There's no chance we can leave with the main force."
Tang Bei's eyes were still darting around. "Commander Kang is doing this for our own good. After all, he doesn't know our strength. Besides, if we don't use our strength... we're not much different from these soldiers. We might not even be able to beat them."
Commander Kang would definitely be worried if a few of us went out alone.
Tang Dong knew his older brother was right, but he really wanted to find his father. "Big brother, second brother, how about I go by myself?"
"no!"
"no!"
Tang Nan sat up abruptly from the ground, and Tang Bei also turned to look at Tang Dong, their eyes filled with disapproval.
Tang Dong sighed, "Big brother, second brother, listen to me. I'm small, so most people won't notice me. Besides, I can protect myself in a critical moment."
Tang Bei shook his head. "Dongzi, don't worry. Dad has been missing for more than a day or two. Putting aside Dad's abilities, Battalion Commander Chang is even stronger than you. The fact that they haven't shown up means something must have happened."
Tang Dong was a little anxious. "So, what if they get held up by something, or get arrested?"
Tang Nan looked dejected. They had already said they had found the bodies of Battalion Commander Chang and his father, but they didn't believe it. What his older brother and Dongzi had said earlier was just speculation.
"Brother, maybe I can help the battalion commander? What if he happens to need an assistant right now?"
"No, Dongzi, I definitely won't allow you to go out by yourself. Besides, if the three of us are always together and you suddenly disappear, they might consider our safety and send your second brother and me back to China directly."
Tang Dong was at a loss; he couldn't leave without persuading his elder brother. Tang Dong stood up. "Then let's go through the proper procedures and apply to higher authorities." Although he didn't know when the application would be approved, he was determined to try.
Tang Yue led everyone from the Fourth Company onto a large truck bound for Bianyue. After two days of bumpy travel, they finally arrived at the border between China and Bianyue.
The moment the large truck stepped onto the territory of the Border Yue Kingdom, Tang Yue frowned. The border here seemed very clearly defined.
Sun Jinan moved closer to Tang Yue. "Company Commander, is this Yue Kingdom an abandoned land? I feel very uncomfortable here. I can't sense any spiritual energy at all."
Tang Yue glanced at him indifferently, "Years of war have led to a continuous decline in living beings and an increase in killing. What do you mean by living beings liking a place like this? Isn't it normal that there's no spiritual energy?"
Zhang Dabing, Ma Qiqiang, and a few others sat down next to Tang Yue. Tang Yue's voice wasn't loud, but they all heard it.
"Remember, there is no spiritual energy here. Don't show off your skills unless it's a matter of life and death. Prioritize survival. Your life is more important than anything else. Don't foolishly send yourself forward."
The group stared at Tang Yue in astonishment. This seemed different from what they had heard in the army, and it also contradicted their beliefs. However, under Tang Yue's large eyes, none of them dared to say anything else, and they all responded in unison.
Tang Yue was finally satisfied. After walking for about fifty or sixty miles, Tang Yue didn't know where she was. In the distance, she heard a rumbling sound in the air getting closer and closer, and it seemed that there were ambushes about 20 miles away.
Looking at the clothes those people were wearing, they were definitely from the United States. Tang Yue put away the book on the language of the border region, "There's an ambush 20 miles away, prepare for battle."
After speaking, he began adjusting the gun in his hand. Upon hearing that there was an ambush, Sun Jinan immediately walked around inside and outside the carriage to check the situation, while simultaneously using hand gestures to signal to the driver and co-driver in the back carriage.
Soon, the roar of the plane grew closer and closer, as if the entire sky was trembling.
Tang Yue looked up and saw six US military aircraft, like six giant iron birds, cutting through the clouds and flying menacingly towards their direction. The wings of the aircraft gleamed with a cold metallic luster in the sunlight, and tension instantly rose on the ground.
"Attention everyone! Enemy planes are coming! Take cover immediately!" The commander in charge immediately issued the order, his voice strong and clear, still audible amidst the noisy roar.
Everyone immediately got out of the car and looked for cover, while gripping their guns tightly and keeping their eyes fixed on the plane in the sky.
At that moment, the pilots on the US aircraft spotted the Chinese military vehicles on the ground through their binoculars. "Hey guys, look at those guys down there, this is a great opportunity to make a name for ourselves!" one pilot exclaimed excitedly.
“That’s right. If we intercept or scatter them, the higher-ups will definitely look at us with new respect!” another pilot chimed in.
One of the pilots hesitated. "Michael, we have a mission now and haven't received orders to attack the Chinese army. Doing this might not be a good idea."
The man named Michel was the officer in charge of these six planes. He didn't seem to care much about what the pilot said. "Isn't there an old Chinese saying that goes, 'A general in the field may disobey orders?' I think that's exactly the situation we're in now."
"Look at this opportunity! These damned yellow-skinned pigs are definitely here to support the Bianyue Kingdom again."
As he spoke, his face darkened. "Listen to my command, prepare to launch artillery shells, and teach these Chinese a lesson!" With Michel's order, the US aircraft began to adjust their flight attitude, slowly descending in preparation for the attack.
The Chinese soldiers on the ground had already taken cover. Michelle looked down through his binoculars. "Tsk tsk, these yellow-skinned pigs are pretty fast. But even though they're a bit scattered, it's not a big deal. Just a few more shells wasted. Drop them!"
