Tang Yue blinked her big eyes, her gaze filled with doubt as she awaited Zhang Ming's answer. If this mountain path were shorter, she would certainly prefer the able-bodied men of Bianyue Kingdom to take this route, as it would save them more time.

Zhang Ming scratched his head, a blush of embarrassment spreading across his face, and stammered, "Company Commander Tang, this route can indeed save a lot of time, but... but there's a section with a nearly 5-meter-high cliff, and the terrain on the other side is higher than this side."

"I drove here at breakneck speed. If I were to go back, with so many people and equipment, whether by car or on foot, I'd need to find a way to get over that cliff."

"Company Commander Tang, please don't look at me like that, I'm scared. If we go back now and take that road, we simply can't get through without support. So, please have them set off on the main road ahead of time."

"Are you coming with us?"

Zhang Ming nodded, "Yes, Goddess, now you can ride in my car."

Tang Yue shook her head. "I need to go ahead of time. Do you want to come with me?"

Zhang Ming was even more surprised, "Company Commander Tang, weren't you always with those people? Why are you leaving on your own this time?"

Tang Yue didn't answer her question. Since the battle was about to begin, Tang Yue planned to tackle the most difficult parts first. This would make it easier for the people to attack.

Zhang Ming took a few steps closer to Tang Yue and asked in a low voice, "Company Commander Tang, do you know anything about Base No. 5?"

Tang Yue raised an eyebrow. Could there be something special about Base 5?

Seeing that Tang Yue seemed genuinely unaware, Zhang Ming stopped keeping her in suspense. "Company Commander Tang, I've been patrolling the area around Base 5 these past couple of days. Base 5 is probably the largest US military base in Vietnam. I've never seen one bigger than this before."

Tang Yue's lips twitched. So this guy does everything based on "what I think"? Before Tang Yue could have any more doubts, Zhang Ming continued talking to himself.

"Base 5 is not only built on land, but also covers a large area at sea. I secretly looked from a high place, and although it was very far away, Base 5 has not only army units, but also navy and air force units."

If this war really breaks out...

Zhang Ming pursed his lips and shook his head. Clearly, he wasn't optimistic about the fighting capabilities of these young men from Bianyue Kingdom. "90,000? No, there shouldn't be that many." Ruan Wenxiong said, glancing ahead. Upon seeing this, he was startled; something was wrong.

County Magistrate Chen, upon hearing the goddess's question, also stepped forward to investigate. Upon seeing it, he exclaimed, "This?"

Ruan Wenxiong turned to look at him. "Old Chen, just say what you have to say. But those people look kind of familiar. Hey? It's..."

Tang Yue looked over. Ruan Wenxiong immediately explained, "They are young men, women, and children from Pingyuan County and Yunhe County." Ruan Wenxiong's voice choked slightly as he spoke. Didn't Zhou Dechang and Wu Liren from Yunhe say they weren't participating? How come they're all here? It seems like there are just as many people as from their other counties.
