Ancient cultivator Tang Jin was caught in a battle between cultivators and exotic beasts over a spiritual treasure and was accidentally transmigrated to another world.
He found himself to be ...

Chang Yin stared at Tang Shengkai, his mind racing with conflicting thoughts. The salty sea breeze swept over him, but it did nothing to dispel the doubts in his heart. "That's right, such tight security far exceeds the specifications of a regular satellite base. There must be a secret here that could change the course of the war."
Judging from his own experience, Chang Yin felt that if he were in charge of protecting China's satellite bases, he would never have been able to achieve the level of protection that the US Army's Base 5 has today.
He lowered his voice, his eyes filled with determination, "We must investigate thoroughly, but this place is too dangerous; we must not act rashly."
Fei Shuwen squatted to the side, gesturing repeatedly on the map with his fingers, his brows furrowed: "Judging from the map and the existing intelligence, the central control center on the third underground level is the key, but the minefield and the dense patrols on the perimeter are obstacles."
Furthermore, entry requires swiping an identification card; without one, an alarm will immediately sound. Moreover, this is a joint operation involving the three branches of the armed forces; if the naval vessels are alerted, we will have no chance of escape.
There was no other way; the outer defenses were simply too tight. Chang Yin and his team discovered this as soon as they arrived; the entire perimeter of Base 5, spanning 3 kilometers, was within their protective range. They finally considered escaping by sea. However, it now seemed that even that was about to become a pipe dream.
Tang Shengkai rubbed the gun at his waist, a ruthless glint in his eyes: "No matter what secrets they hold, now that we're here, we must get to the bottom of this. But we need a well-thought-out plan, or we'll just be throwing our lives away."
Chang Yin pondered for a moment, his gaze sweeping over the two men in turn, before he began to assign tasks in detail: "Old Fei, you're good at data organization. These next two days, you'll collect information on the building layout and personnel activities within the base, paying particular attention to the passage leading to the central control center. Keep an eye on the two people inside."
"Old Tang, you're in charge of investigating the patrol teams' detailed routes and timing patterns, and finding the shortest safe interval. I learned some hacking techniques from Xiao Yueyue; let's see if we can find an opportunity to cut off part of the base's power lines and interfere with the infrared alarm system, creating an opening for us to enter the minefield."
"What about the communication equipment? Once the alarm is triggered, maritime support will arrive quickly," Fei Shuwen asked worriedly.
"Leave this to me. Once I have a clear picture of the situation, I'll find a way to sabotage the high-frequency communication device. But until then, we must be extremely careful; any mistake could lead to our utter destruction."
"Death isn't scary; what's scary is dying before completing the mission. So, we must be extremely careful!" Chang Yin said solemnly.
The damp sea breeze, carrying a salty, fishy smell, pounded against the abandoned metal guard post where he often hid. With only two days left until his appointment with Tang Yue, he clutched the stolen map, his brow furrowed, his heart filled with anxiety.
Despite the dense markings on the map, the key to breaking through the central control center remained elusive.
Chang Yin knew that time was of the essence; once Tang Yue arrived with the able-bodied men of Bian Yue, the war would inevitably begin. However, if they could not provide Tang Yue with any assistance, Chang Yin felt that the outcome of the war was already predetermined.
How could they let that happen? Chang Yin gritted his teeth and decided to try to crack the alarm system first. Once the alarm system was disabled, they could do a lot of things during that time.
Now they have no chance to escape, nor can they enter any place they consider suspicious.
He moved cautiously along the perimeter of the base, avoiding the beams of searchlights. Just as he passed a communications base station, a faint but regular radio transmission sound reached his ears. Though quiet, the sound was like a thorn, instantly alerting him.
Chang Yin stopped and listened intently, trying to discern the source of the sound. Based on his years of experience, he judged that this was definitely not an ordinary communication signal.
Following the sound, he found a camouflaged cable hidden in a corner overgrown with weeds. The cable snaked its way to the sea, disappearing beneath the surging waves.
Chang Yin's heart skipped a beat. "Could it be..." He realized this might be a major discovery. Unable to suppress his excitement, Chang Yin quietly followed the direction of the cable.
He walked cautiously, not caring if he disturbed the nearby patrols; he had essentially confirmed his suspicions. But when did the US military install it, and where did this cable lead?
However, the closer they got to the sea, the tighter the US defenses became, with searchlight beams crisscrossing like daytime and the sound of patrols echoing everywhere.
He often hid behind a huge reef, gazing at the scene ahead, pondering how to continue advancing under such tight defenses.
Just then, he discovered a hidden path at the foot of a cliff not far away. Chang Yin was repeatedly grateful that he had learned Qi cultivation from Tang Yue. Otherwise, his eyesight wouldn't be so good, and he wouldn't be able to see things as clearly as he did during the day.
This path might lead to where the cable drops into the sea. He took a deep breath and decided to risk going to check it out.
Meanwhile, Tang Shengkai was intently monitoring the patrol team's latest movements. He lay prone on a high point, carefully observing the movements of each patrolman through binoculars.
Suddenly, he noticed that the patrol team's route seemed to have changed slightly, and the originally fixed intervals had become unpredictable.
"What's going on? Have we been discovered?" Tang Shengkai was startled and immediately realized the situation was dire. He had to inform Chang Yin and Fei Shuwen as soon as possible, otherwise their plan would be ruined.
Meanwhile, Fei Shuwen was trying to obtain more information about the layout of the base's internal buildings. He sneaked into an officer's lounge and rummaged through the cluttered lockers for useful documents.
