Ancient cultivator Tang Jin was caught in a battle between cultivators and exotic beasts over a spiritual treasure and was accidentally transmigrated to another world.
He found himself to be ...

As Lin Cuicui opened the courtyard gate, she caught a glimpse of a corner of clothing flashing past the corner of her neighbor's wall on the right. The familiar indigo-blue cotton floral dress was the one that Yang Shengjun's wife, Wei Xin, often wore.
There were very few people in the entire residential compound whose clothes had floral patterns, and Wei Xin's clothes were quite famous in the compound.
A chill ran through her, but she maintained her smile as she saw Qian Xing to the door, muttering about buying things for his parents. Once Qian Xing was out of sight, her smile vanished instantly, and her eyes sharpened.
Her daughter had warned her several times that Wei Xin was suspicious, but Lin Cuicui hadn't really paid much attention before. Now it seems that Wei Xin has probably been eyeing their family for a long time, and it's not impossible that she's been monitoring them every day.
A sarcastic smile crept onto Lin Cuicui's lips as she secretly plotted her next move. She had originally planned to take some time today to visit Commander Kang at the military base. However, being constantly watched made it difficult for her to go out.
After all, she's never gone out before, and suddenly she went out twice today; it's obvious she's up to something. Besides, since the spies' tickets didn't even have dates, and they're not in a hurry, why is she?
The next morning, Lin Cuicui held Xixi in her arms as they sunbathed in the yard, her eyes constantly scanning the area outside. She hadn't paid much attention before, but now, thinking back, how often did Wei Xin not loiter around their house? She probably knew more about their family than even she did.
Is Wei Xin actually a Japanese spy? If so, would she be so blatantly causing trouble?
Before Lin Cuicui could figure it out, Wei Xin, as usual, carried a wooden basin and pretended to be going to the river to wash clothes, passing by her house.
"Aunt Wei, you're doing laundry so early!" Lin Cuicui greeted her warmly, her face beaming with smiles.
Wei Xin didn't stop walking, and replied with a smile, "Yes, let's finish washing as soon as possible before the sun gets too strong. Sister-in-law, do you have any clothes to wash? Would you like to wash them together?"
Lin Cuicui quickly shook her head, "I won't go for now. It's not convenient with a child in my arms. Come over and stay with me when you have time, sister-in-law."
Wei Xin nodded with a smile, "Okay, I'll come over to your place whenever I'm free."
"Okay, sure. Take care, sister-in-law."
Wei Xin paused in her steps, then asked seemingly casually, "Sister-in-law, I don't think you go out often. Did some fellow villagers come to visit you yesterday?"
Lin Cuicui carried Xixi and took two steps toward the courtyard gate, seemingly unaware that Wei Xin had tricked her into revealing information: "Oh, you mean yesterday?"
Yesterday, Qian Xing came to see me, saying he received his allowance but couldn't go home. He wanted me to help him buy some things for his parents in the border town. Sigh, he's had it tough; he's only been in the army a short time, and with training every day, he really can't find a single spare moment.
"I didn't have much to do anyway, and since he came to me, I thought I'd help him out if I could." Lin Cuicui said, while subtly observing Wei Xin's expression.
Wei Xin's eyes flickered slightly, but she quickly regained her composure. "Oh my, that's quite a fine young man. Sister-in-law, you'd better keep an eye on him and choose him carefully."
After all, the things here are definitely different from those back home; sending them back is just for the novelty.
Lin Cuicui seemed to be recalling something in her eyes, "Yes, our place really doesn't have as many species as this place. Not to mention anything else, just take seafood, we really don't have much there."
"Yes, I'll see if I can send them some extra seafood later. Hey, sister-in-law, are you free? Shall we go together?"
Wei Xin's eyes flickered slightly, almost imperceptibly. Not knowing what Wei Xin was thinking, she hesitated for a moment, then said, "Sister-in-law, you're going to help a fellow villager, is it appropriate for me to go with you?"
Lin Cuicui rolled her eyes. "What's the big deal? That city isn't my home. It's pretty boring staying on the island every day. It's nice to go out and travel. I've been staying home looking after Xixi all year, and I haven't really gone out at all."
I don't know what Wei Xin was thinking, but she said, "Okay, sister-in-law, let me see. If it's convenient for you, we can go together."
Lin Cuicui immediately perked up, "Oh, that's great! Then it's settled, sister-in-law. I was just worried about not having anyone to keep me company."
Wei Xin smiled and moved the basin in her hand. "Then I'll go do the laundry first, sister-in-law."
After Wei Xin left, Lin Cuicui's face immediately turned cold. She wanted to get close to her. Since she was so eager to know, she'd let her see as much as she wanted.
They say you can be a thief for a thousand days, but you can't guard against thieves for a thousand days. Being constantly watched passively is really uncomfortable. Xixi was held by her mother the whole time, but after Wei Xin left, Xixi squirmed in Lin Cuicui's arms, trying to get down.
Lin Cuicui pinched Xixi's little face, "What's wrong, Xixi? Don't you like Mommy to hug you the most?"
"Play..."
Xixi pointed outside with her little finger. Lin Cuicui was a little worried, but she also knew that keeping the child confined in the yard all the time wasn't right. Now that she had the ability to protect Xixi, she simply opened the yard gate.
Xixi is very well-behaved; he has never cried or made a fuss since he was little. Now he is even more obedient. Without Lin Cuicui saying anything, he didn't run far, but instead started playing with the stones that Lin Cuicui had put there yesterday at the gate of the courtyard.
Lin Cuicui thought it was just a child playing around with pebbles. She sat on a stone bench outside the courtyard, lost in thought. She needed to find time to go to the military base today. Qian Xing hadn't had a chance to see Commander Kang, and he didn't trust anyone else.
Lin Cuicui thought he was right to do so, since the fact that someone could openly pass notes within the military meant that this person was definitely in the military. They didn't know who it was, though.
Qian Xing is probably being watched the whole time. That means he can't act freely. But it's not easy for her to go out either. How can she get out?
