Chapter 519 Secret Talks at the Central Government Building

Tang Yue appeared like a ghost in the shadows of the Beidaohai military base, the moonlight gilding her with a silvery edge, yet failing to trigger any alarms. The base was brightly lit, searchlight beams crisscrossing like a giant net of light, but her nimble figure remained elusive.

She first arrived at the armory, where the heavy alloy doors seemed impervious to her. Tang Yue simply raised her hand, and all the advanced weapons neatly arranged inside, along with all the guns, ammunition, and missile launchers, vanished as if drawn by an invisible hand.

Next, she arrived at the enormous hangar where airplanes, tanks, and various vehicles were parked. Dozens of fighter jets stood proudly, exuding an imposing aura; rows of tanks were neatly arranged, radiating a cold, metallic feel; and countless other military vehicles were also present.

Tang Yue smiled faintly, waved her hand, and one after another, airplanes, tanks, and vehicles disappeared into thin air, leaving only an empty hangar and faint tire tracks on the ground.

Not satisfied with collecting these, Tang Yue sneaked into the military archives room.

The archives room is under extremely tight security, with two armed soldiers guarding the entrance and infrared alarm devices surrounding it.

Tang Yue did not enter the archives room; the mountain of documents inside vanished into thin air.

Standing high above the base, Tang Yue looked down at the tranquil site below, a mocking smile playing on her lips. It seemed the lesson from last time hadn't been enough; Japan had already stirred up trouble again in such a short time.

If it doesn't suffer a severe blow, it will never learn the meaning of restraint. Tang Yue originally intended to stand high in the sky and turn the entire Northern Sea into an empty city except for the people. However, this would consume too much spiritual energy.

It's no wonder that Japan is considered a country unblessed by the heavens; like the Border Kingdom, it has absolutely no spiritual energy. Tang Yue could only wander through the streets of the Northern Sea, and as she moved, the buildings on both sides of the street instantly emptied.

Tang Yue focused her attention on the Hatoyama family's businesses, leaving them absolutely nothing. Especially the banks throughout Hokkaido; with foreign exchange so hard to earn, she figured she might as well bring back as much as possible from Japan.

Overnight, the entire northern sea was deserted. Tang Yue did not linger and went straight to Xijing.

When they arrived in Xijing, it was already past 9 a.m. Tang Yue felt that the Hatoyama family members probably weren't all there during the day, so she went directly to a hotel for breakfast.

Tang Yue casually stirred the coffee in her cup, the silver spoon clinking against the porcelain cup. She seemed to be leisurely enjoying her breakfast, but her consciousness was actually spreading outwards like a spider web.

The hotel was only a few hundred meters from the Xijing Central Government offices, and at that moment, conversations from several conference rooms were constantly reaching her ears.

"The situation on Hill 13 in Bianyue is extremely precarious!" A voice with a heavy American or Japanese accent rang out. Tang Yue frowned slightly and put down her coffee cup.

"The Chinese army is advancing with unstoppable momentum, and the US army has retreated to the edge of the defensive line. The US army is now requesting Russia and our country to provide support as soon as possible!"

One of the portly men frowned. "I've heard that all of America's supplies suddenly disappeared into thin air, and the US military hasn't sent any more supplies yet?"

The man who had just reported nodded. "Indeed. I heard that several political parties in the United States are arguing fiercely. The public is also holding demonstrations to protest against the US government providing large amounts of weapons and supplies to the border war between Vietnam and China. They are demanding an end to the war."

The portly man fell into deep thought. What should they do now? If they didn't continue to support the United States, the consequences would be unimaginable. However, even the American people themselves weren't supporting them, and relying solely on their country to provide the war preparations for the entire battlefield was clearly unrealistic.

"Prime Minister, what do you think we should do now?"

In another conference room, discussions were in full swing. "China's newly developed 'Kemi' destroyer and supercomputer are a huge threat!"

A Japanese official's voice was quite loud. Tang Yue looked over and saw a man wearing gold-rimmed glasses with a sinister look in his eyes.

"Has there been any news from China yet?" Kenji Sato asked, looking around the office.

The others hung their heads in silence; they had indeed received no news so far. Logically, the Chinese vessel 'Kemi' should have finished its sea trials by now, and there should be news about the situation there.

But so far, no news has been sent.

Seeing that everyone remained silent, Kenji Sato continued, "We must find a way to steal their technology. At the same time, we need to find out what raw materials they need. We must cut off their supply of raw materials; we absolutely cannot allow China to have any chance of development!"

"Gentlemen, I received some startling news this morning!" In the third conference room, a Japanese official named Yamamoto Yuta said in a low voice. He had a face full of fat and his eyes were filled with greed and ruthlessness.

"China is actually going to launch a satellite!"

"What? No! How is this possible? China doesn't have this technology at all!"

"Yes, how could China launch its own satellite? This news must not be true."

"Is there a specific time and place? This news is too sudden; we weren't prepared at all."

The crowd erupted in discussion, clearly taken aback by the news. There had been so many events happening in China lately, and each one was significant, keeping them constantly on their toes. Why had China risen to prominence in such a short time?

Yuta Yamamoto nodded affirmatively. "I've confirmed it; the news is true, definitely correct. However, the exact time and location are still unknown. China is keeping this news very tightly under wraps; we've lost quite a few people in the process of obtaining even this little bit of information."
