The group made their way to the cave entrance together. The one leading the way was Sun Shouzhen, the same Sun who had tried to dissuade Lu Zhanheng from taking the lead in the cowshed that morning.

He pointed to the cave, panting, "Based on the clues we've gathered, the two children should be in this cave."

After saying that, he waved his hand and said, "Go inside and look for it."

Lin Cuicui, Old Li, and Tang Bei rushed in before Sun Shouzhen could finish speaking.

But the stone in her hand had already been thrown down, and there was no way to take it back. She was startled for a moment, but it was too late.
