Dongfang Xiao, Dongfang Yi's younger sister, is the youngest daughter of Dongfang Qinghua, the expert Tang Yue rescued from Russia. Because of Tang Yue's suggestion, the group of experts he brought back were all transferred to Kyoto after being vetted. The Dongfang family has now been in Kyoto for over four years.

Dongfang Qinghua and Lin Wanqing have excellent upbringing; their children are all quite capable and of good character. Dongfang Yi's eldest brother, Dongfang Yu, and eldest sister, Dongfang Xuan, are both married and settled in Kyoto.

Chang Yin treated Dongfang Xiao as if he were arresting a spy, but when he met the girl's pure, untainted black eyes, a question flashed through his mind. Are spies these days all so stupid?
