Chapter 19 The Eve Before Dawn

Chapter 19 The Eve Before Dawn

"Tsk." Draco rolled his eyes, tugged at the middle of Harry's T-shirt and dragged Harry out.

"Put away your stupid face, Potter. It just didn't turn out the way you wanted. Come on, let's just have fun."

Draco looked away, digging his toes into the ground uncomfortably.

"Ah?" Harry turned his head to look at Draco, who turned his head away and his face seemed to be half powdered by the smell of alcohol.

"Potter, don't tell me you really think you're here to have fun all day?" Draco turned his head and glared, looking directly into Harry's eyes that were as crystal clear as emeralds.

Harry scratched the back of his head, his mind suddenly brightening up, and the bright sunshine climbed up between his eyebrows. "Hey, Draco, I'm trying very hard. Don't always think so badly of me. After all, we are old friends."

Harry grinned and jumped onto Draco's back, wrapping his arms around Draco's neck and putting his face close to his ear. "Want to go?"

Draco rolled his eyes and chuckled. "It's not terrible, it's just dull."

[“Wait a minute, the hook hasn’t locked into the fish yet.”] Draco hunched his shoulders and pulled himself out of Harry’s bear hug.

[“But that’s so silly.”] Harry muttered.

"Hey! Draco!" Harry feigned annoyance and reached out to scratch the soft flesh of Draco's armpit. "Can't you praise me a little bit with your poisonous mouth? We are friends now, can't you learn to be honest?"

"Ha!" Draco exclaimed, and Harry pinched his waist before he could dodge. He grimaced in pain.

"Potter, you actually attacked me!" Draco clutched his pinched waist, twisting his body in disbelief to glance at Harry. A teardrop the size of a diamond, squeezed out of his wide-open eye sockets, dripped onto his cheek, making him look particularly naive and charming.

["Are you serious?"] Draco frowned.

Harry shrugged helplessly, raised an eyebrow, and glanced at the room behind the corner of the bar, where there was a narrow gap. ["They're not stupid, how could they be so easily fooled?"]

[“Tsk”]

"Ah! Pott, watch how I take revenge." Draco pulled off his shirt and tie and pounced on Harry to fight him to the death.

Harry dodged nimbly.

"Haha, you can't catch me, you little bastard?" Harry grinned, jumped down the steps, and ran towards the door. As he ran, he turned around and said provocatively: "Catch up if you can!"

Draco suddenly felt malicious towards Harry who was laughing so proudly. He would make Harry laugh until he begged for mercy tonight, he swore!

"Hey! Stop right there, Poter!"

Harry stopped when he reached the corner, turned around and grinned at Draco, "Hey, Draco, do you want me to be obedient? Of course not, no way!"

After saying that, he turned around and rushed to the door.

"Harry!" Draco gritted his teeth, nearly breaking them. "I'm going to make you cry and beg for me tonight!"

Draco roared and rushed forward quickly.

Harry grabbed the door frame, turned his head and made a face at Draco, "No, I don't believe it."

Then the door slammed shut, completely blocking out Draco's angry roar.

"Potter!!!" Draco raged. "You're going to cry and laugh tonight! I'm telling you."

Harry glanced at the corner of the black robe that flashed by in the corner of the wall, and the curve of his mouth deepened.

The fun has just begun!

Harry and Draco smiled at each other across the half-wind of winter wind. They understood each other tacitly, and there was a cunning look in each other's eyes.

"Draco, how's it going?"

Draco, who was quietly fiddling with the new cool wireless headphones on his ears, heard the words and broke off the headphones and snapped them onto Harry's right ear, who was looking at him eagerly.

Harry, who was restless like a husky at home alone, was instantly calmed down and closed his eyes and began to think.

There was silence in the headphones. If it weren't for the occasional sound of clothes rustling, Harry would have suspected that there was something wrong with Draco's experimental equipment again.

After waiting for a while, footsteps were finally heard from the other end of the headphones. Draco and Harry perked up and listened carefully. The sound from the other end also came intermittently.

"My dear friend, welcome back"

It was the voice of a strange man, Harry judged. Combining what he said with the scene they heard, could the person opposite him be Jason?

When Draco heard the familiar voice, the gray-blue light on his face froze instantly. Was it him?

Draco was shocked, damn it!

"Oh, my dear fellow! You are back at last. We have been waiting so long."

Jason's voice rang out again: "Let me see you, my most proud boy!"

A very familiar voice came from the other end, and Draco and Harry looked at each other in understanding.

Draco, seemingly indifferent, turned his head, his hands almost rubbing the earphone tray on his ears.

His face, which was lowered and hidden in the shadows, looked extremely ugly. His fists were clenched tightly, and the veins on the back of his hands were bulging. The clothes hanging by his left leg were crumpled into a ball, which showed how angry he was inside.

"Oh, my dear Jason, your friend is so warm-hearted. Even after we've separated, they still gave you such a generous gift." Chloe pinched Jason's lapel, and a tiny electric current flashed through her fingertips, but there was nothing inside the opened lapel.

"Tsk." Draco took off his headphones, kicked the irrigation bushes on the green belt in annoyance, and walked towards the apartment.

Harry called out to him, "Hey, Draco."

"What are you doing? If you have something to say, just say it, silly Harry." Draco retracted his foot in annoyance, turned around and glared at Harry with his hands on his hips.

Now it was Harry's turn to roll his eyes and he held out his hand.

"Although this reconciliation may be late, but, Draco, hello, I'm Harry Potter. Perhaps we can start as classmates?"

Then try to see if we can be friends.

Harry swallowed the words and didn't say them out loud.

Looking at Harry's outstretched hand, Draco fell silent.

Then he turned his head and said something in a sarcastic tone.

"I know who I want to be friends with—"

Harry wasn't surprised by Draco's reaction. "So you're refusing?"

"snort."

Harry withdrew his hand, then extended it again.

"Then I'll do it again."

"Reconciliation? Like that time on the train?"

Draco froze, his arms folded, a bewildered expression on his face. His pale lips opened and closed, his voice choking for a moment.

"Are you kidding me?"

Harry was particularly serious at this time, and his eyes became brighter.

"No, I said, do you want to reconcile?"

Draco looked away, his ears hidden in his hair turning slightly red. He said nothing, but just held Harry's hand with his overly soft hands.

As if to hide the truth, "I didn't agree, Potter, this is just a temporary cooperation to reach a consensus."

Harry raised an eyebrow. "Whatever happens, the result is the same."

After saying that, he spread out his invisibility cloak, stepped over to Draco's side, and slowly covered the two of them with the cloak while the other looked bewildered.

"Let's go, let's just pretend that the kind-hearted Gryffindor lion wants to send a Slytherin back to celebrate their rare collaboration?"

Draco's nostrils flared slightly. "You're smart."

"I don't like what you're saying, Malfoy."

"Who cares whether you like it or not."

"oh."

"cut."

No matter what the reason, intention or plan was, at least at this moment, the atmosphere between the two of them was rare and harmonious.
