The next morning, Lin Yifeng got up without a word.

As soon as the Forbidden City opened, Lin Yifeng followed the first wave of people into the Forbidden City. Many tour guides soliciting customers on both sides had not yet started work, but Lin Yifeng had already dashed to the restaurant inside the Forbidden City.

At the restaurant entrance, Lin Yifeng finally saw the sign that he knew all too well.

Inside the store, eight or nine Mixue Ice Cream staff members were preparing today's goods in an orderly manner.

As soon as Lin Yifeng entered, the group of people greeted him with very polite smiles.

"Hello, what would you like to drink?"

"We recommend you try our freshly brewed milk tea; it tastes great."

Lin Yifeng looked at the cashier girl in front of him and asked her gently.

"I'd like to ask if your store manager is here?"

This surprised the cashier for a moment, and then she forced a smile and asked.

"Hello, what questions do you have? I can help you answer them."

"Don't panic, it's alright."

Lin Yifeng smiled and comforted her.

"Tell the store manager that someone from Mixue Ice Cream headquarters has arrived and you have something to discuss with him."

The cashier was completely stunned by these words.

Mixue Ice Cream headquarters?

When did Mixue Ice Cream get a headquarters? Isn't it the only one in the entire city of Kyoto?

With a skeptical attitude, the cashier walked to the back and talked to a middle-aged woman, occasionally pointing out Lin Yifeng outside the window.

The store manager frowned slightly and quickly came out through the back door.

Seeing this, Lin Yifeng went to wait on the side, and soon the store manager saw Lin Yifeng.

The store manager here is not old, just over thirty, but she is dressed very smartly and has a short hairstyle that was not very mainstream at the time, which makes her look like a powerful career woman.

"Hello, you said you are from the headquarters of Mixue Ice Cream."

The store manager took it and examined it repeatedly, his eyes filled with even more suspicion.

Lin Yifeng could naturally see through this guy's thoughts. There was only one Mixue Ice Cream in the entire capital city. If someone suddenly appeared and told you that he was from the Mixue Ice Cream headquarters, you would definitely question his background.

From the store manager's perspective, Lin Yifeng probably already seemed like someone who was there to commit fraud, trying to swindle something from them.

However, out of politeness, the store manager didn't say anything more.

"Excuse me, Mr. Lin."

"You said you're from Mixue Ice Cream headquarters."

“But in Kyoto, we only have one Mixue Ice Cream shop, and you come from Zhongzhou…”

The store manager didn't finish his sentence; instead, he looked Lin Yifeng up and down with his eyes.

She knew exactly what Mixue Ice Cream's sales volume was like.

If you told her that Mixue Ice Cream came from Zhongzhou, she wouldn't believe it.

Kyoto and Nakashu are worlds apart, not to mention that Lin Yifeng's business card says Makino City.

Makino?

The shop owner had never even heard of this place. If she had been told it was in Shangdu, she might have been able to believe it to some extent.

Seeing that the other party refused to believe him, Lin Yifeng directly revealed his true intentions.

"Well, I was hoping you could help me contact your boss, Wei Yuxian. Is that convenient for you?"

"Just tell her and give her my name, and she'll believe you."

Lin Yifeng originally intended to use the name Wei Yuxian to gain the other party's trust.

But the store manager's reaction surprised Lin Yifeng.

The store manager maintained a polite smile and then quickly apologized to Lin Yifeng.

"Feel sorry."

"Mr. Lin, you may have mistaken me for someone else."

"We don't have anyone here named Wei Yuxian, I'm sorry."

Lin Yifeng was slightly taken aback.

There is no such person as Wei Yuxian?

How could that be!

The store manager's eyes held a hint of mockery when he saw Lin Yifeng staring blankly into space.

After Lin Yifeng's pretentious act, she became even more convinced that he was just trying to scam money. He must be envious of Mixue Ice Cream's business, which is why he made up such an outrageous name.

While the group was talking, the store manager noticed that the number of people in the distance was increasing, and hurriedly tried to appease Lin Yifeng.

“Mr. Lin, I think you’ve come to the wrong place.”

"Perhaps you are looking for Michelle Ice Cream? Or Summer Ice Cream?"

"I suggest you go out through the west gate and then go to the food street there to ask. You might find the person you're looking for there."

"We have work to attend to here, so please excuse us for now."

After saying this, the store manager prepared to go back into the store to instruct the people inside and begin preparing for the day's work.

Lin Yifeng was left standing alone at the door, lost in thought.

Lin Yifeng, standing at the door, thought for a moment and guessed that Wei Yuxian might be using a fake name, and given her past behavior...

Lin Yifeng wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and immediately changed his tune.

"Wait!"

"Okay then."

"Could you contact Uncle Wolf for me and tell him that Lin Yifeng from Makino City has arrived?"

Upon hearing this, the store manager was completely captivated.

She turned to look at Lin Yifeng with an incredulous expression, her eyes filled with shock.

If you were to ask her about Lin Yifeng's first name, she probably wouldn't have heard of him.

But if it's the name Wolverine, she couldn't possibly not know it.

Upon hearing Lin Yifeng reveal the names "Uncle Wolf" and "Pig Brother," the shop manager frowned, his eyes filled with even more doubt.
