"Is this Shanghai?"

So many cars!

Lin Cuilan covered her mouth, looking somewhat surprised.

Outside the Shanghai airport, a dense array of vehicles, including taxis and private cars, were parked at the entrance, all calling out as they prepared to leave.

Many of them were holding up signs and constantly shouting their wares.

In Muye and Shangdu, there are indeed quite a few people at the train station entrance, but very few people own cars. Most of them are in tricycles or rickshaws, taking people to the countryside or the city.

It's rare to see someone directly shouting and offering a ride away.

Xu Wanxia was also visiting the area around the airport for the first time. Looking at the crowd around her, she had a look of surprise in her eyes, but more than that, she was curious about how many cars there were in Shanghai.

Lin Yifeng looked around and finally saw a sign that read "Lin Yifeng," so he led the three of them over.

When they got closer, a well-dressed man in a suit made eye contact with Lin Yifeng.

Are you Mr. Lin?

"Yes, it's me. Boss Duan sent you, didn't he?"

The man was delighted to hear Lin Yifeng announce Duan Yusheng's name.

"Yes, yes, yes."

"Mr. Lin, this way please."

After weaving through the crowd, the group soon arrived at a Honda minivan. The car stood out from its surroundings, and such a luxurious vehicle was rare even in Shanghai.

Most of them are Santana and Audi, and usually other SUVs.

Luxury business vehicles like these are typically used by large corporations to transport important guests.

When Lin Yifeng and his group appeared, many people around them turned their attention to the four of them.

It was the first time Xu Wanxia had been stared at by so many people, so she followed closely behind Lin Yifeng into the car, trying to avoid the gazes of those around her.

After getting on the bus, the driver in front slowly explained.

"Boss Duan is still busy and instructed me to take everyone to the hotel first."

"If you have any places you'd like to go this afternoon, let me know in advance and I'll give everyone a ride."

"If you want to eat here, there are options inside the hotel. Mr. Duan has already paid in advance, so Mr. Lin, you don't need to order anything."

"Boss Duan said that he will pay for all your expenses in Shanghai."

Guo Fengsheng and the other two also showed expressions of surprise.

They were all starting to wonder who this "Boss Duan" the driver was talking about really was, and of course they were even more curious about how Lin Yifeng knew such a person.

Putting everything else aside, this little car alone has already exceeded everyone's expectations.

Seeing how well Duan Yusheng had arranged things, Lin Yifeng smiled and replied.

"Please thank Boss Duan for me."

"No need to trouble yourself with anything else. We just arrived, so please tidy up a bit."

"I'll consider going out tomorrow."

The driver nodded.

When they arrived at their hotel, Duan Yusheng was very good at making arrangements, as he had arranged for them to stay at the Yangtze River Hotel on the banks of the Huangpu River.

Although it's not near the Bund, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Shanghai's nightscape from your hotel room.

Of course, Duan Yusheng did not expect that Lin Yifeng and his group of four had only booked one room. However, the driver was very considerate and went directly to the front desk to book another room for Lin Yifeng.

Lin Yifeng shared a room with Guo Fengsheng.

Lin Cuilan shared a room with Xu Wanxia.

After they got back to their room and settled in, Lin Yifeng asked Guo Fengsheng to take them downstairs for a stroll in the afternoon to see if there was anything fun nearby.

Lin Yifeng, on the other hand, lay in the hotel to get some rest.

Lin Yifeng has been busy with business in Shangdu and Muye lately, so he hasn't had much time to rest.

When Lin Yifeng opened his eyes, Duan Yusheng had already called, inviting him to dinner that night.

Lin Yifeng quickly contacted Guo Fengsheng, went downstairs to find the driver from the morning, and drove to the city to pick up the three of them.

When they arrived at the restaurant, Duan Yusheng and Wang Deming were already waiting in the private room with their secretary. Duan Yusheng was extremely excited when he saw Lin Yifeng.

Although the female secretary last time was good-looking, she was not very capable. This time, the female secretary was very good at handling things and took good care of Xu Wanxia at the dinner table.

During the meal, they anticipated Lin Yifeng's purpose for coming. When Duan Yusheng and Wang Deming learned that Xu Wanxia had been admitted to Fudan University, they both showed expressions of horror.

Neither of them expected Lin Yifeng's sister to be so capable.

Even Duan Yusheng kept making fun of himself.

"What do you mean by 'gap'?"

"My husband is still eating, drinking, and having fun at home, not doing anything productive. When I get back, I'm going to break his legs."

Duan Yu complained a couple of times in frustration.

Lin Yifeng also comforted him from the side.

“My sister loves learning, and the child loves learning; he doesn’t have any other hobbies.”

“I also hope she can be more outgoing and explore new things.”
